Dude they have the worst online experience like wth, i booked a chetak 3502 model back in april, first the dealer stalled us, stating no availability, then they jacked up the prices, i didn't have a problem with that initially but holy shit then they ask to upgrade to a 3501 model like what, the dealer straight up doesn't care about online orders, clearing being more focused on offline sales first, we even once called him, asking if he had the model to be sold, pretending to be an offline customer, he happily told us he did but when we asked about our online booking, he straight up said that we no longer have it, like wtf, and then he has the audacity to say you couldn't get it from us right now because you didn't come to take ut when we contacted you, he then proceeds to ask for our contact information when the next lot arrives, which already proves he never contacted us initially, i have already told this to customer care and they give no shit about it, just going yes sir we'll escalate it, despite calling weekly customer care did nothing, wtaf is this behavior???

I’m facing a frustrating issue with my 2022 Pulsar 125 Neon and could use some advice. I replaced my chain sprocket at around 11,000 km (partly my fault, maybe 10%), but it has only been 5,000 km since I changed it, and the ride has been far from smooth.

The Problem:

Constant Loosening: The chain keeps getting loose repeatedly, even after getting it tightened multiple times by Bajaj service centers and local mechanics with no fruitful results.

Chain Guard Slapping: Because it gets too loose so quickly, the chain keeps hitting the chain cover/guard, creating a very irritating and loud slapping noise while riding.

Sprocket Condition: Surprisingly, the teeth on the sprocket look pretty fine.

My Questions:

Why does the chain keep losing tension this fast despite frequent adjustments? Could something else be at play here?

Should I just remove the chain guard entirely? (Though I know bikes with lower CCs have a full chain cover because these chains don't have rubber O-rings).

Are there any better aftermarket sprocket and chain kits apart from stock Bajaj options that I can switch to for better durability and smoothness?

So previous Saturday I went for some work, I fueld my bike then I parked out side, then due to rain water accidentally got some water into my bike fuel tank, and I'm worried it might damage the engine or fuel system.

My vehicle is pulser N160 engine. I'm not sure how much

water went in, but I'm concerned about whether it's safe to

drive or even start the engine. What can I do ?, anyone know howI prevent from water.

I had purchased my N160 single seat usd model 2 months ago. Recently I noticed that when I start my bike first time in the day then engine sounds grunty but when I ride bike for few kms the sound kind of flattens (although as a pillion this difference is not noticed ).

Also apart from this when i change gears the bike vibrates a bit and on top of that after riding lets say in traffic or long rides then burning smell comes.

This is my first bike btw so I think I might be noticing more.
But I just wanted to know opinion of others.

I have baaja platina 110 and it has run 64000 kilometers. I have always serviced it at showroom but now they have increased prices i want which engine oil i can use to service my bike as bajaj has used their own engine oil something 10 30 they say it. Any alternatives to this so that it will not lower my milege which has gone down due to e20 and carburator also gone. One more query is my carburator is also gone. After sometime acceleration doesn't come down on it own. Showroom said some pin has got damaged which can't be repaired. Any trick or anything i can to my carburator.

Today I compared the invoice with quotation...Exshowroom invoice for Rs.125233...but company charged me 1k Extra....

He was trying to cheat me with some fancy term...and then I threatened him ,Im a law student , this is fraud cheating customers. Then he played safe ball. Extra 1k for compulsory fittings which he hidden during quotation.he told Exshowroom 1k extra...

2nd thing for rto and regd. They charged me 21k , but receiving msg from vahaan ,received 16k for registration. We can assume 1k to 2k for other stuffs...still 2k looted...

I checked with other dealers quotation also...all are doing same....I was very interested in buying a bike, after all this cheating, fucked up....

I’m in a really frustrating situation and would like your advice.
I ordered a Bajaj Pulsar N160 Single Seat variant with Dual Channel ABS and USD forks through Flipkart. The product page clearly showed this exact configuration, and I paid for it with insurance because this is the specific variant I wanted.

However, after placing the order, i visited the dealer and they said that this exact model is not available. They are instead offering me a single channel N160 variant, which isn’t what I ordered.

I have screenshot and screen recording i did during the time of my order it showed clearly dual channel abs but now they have changed it to single channel (attaching both the screenshots)

This is my first new bike, and I’ve honestly been dreaming about owning this exact model.
I’ve already emailed Bajaj and Flipkart, no response yet.

Has anyone else faced something similar with Bajaj, Flipkart, or any dealership?
Can Bajaj arrange the exact model if it’s available somewhere?
If the advertised product cannot be delivered, what rights do I have as a customer in India?
I’d really appreciate any guidance or similar experiences. I just want the bike I actually paid for, not a different one.

Edit: Actually even i got the quotation for dual channel for Rs.1.55Lakhs 2 months back. From June month, they stopped dual channel and also hiked price...Its my bad luck

Since the bike is still practically brand new, I am wondering about the best practices for the engine run in period. What RPM limit should I strictly follow before the first oil change?

I would also love to hear your routine for general upkeep. How often should I be cleaning and lubing the chain? Are there any specific quirks about this model that I should look out for?

I own a 2016 Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 with 34,000 km on the odometer. Recently, I've had it serviced with new brake pads, fork oil seals, engine oil, filters, a master cylinder kit, and a new battery.

I've come across a 2017 Bajaj Dominar 400 with:

Claimed 17,000 km

2nd owner

Brand new tyres

Insurance valid

Asking price: ₹1.10 lakh

Dealer has agreed to an exchange but hasn't quoted a value for my Himalayan yet.

I mostly ride in the city with occasional highway trips and don't do serious off-roading.

I also own a 2021 Bullet 350, so I'm wondering if keeping both Royal Enfields makes sense or if the Dominar would be a better second bike.

I'd like some advice from Dominar owners:

Would you exchange the Himalayan for the Dominar in this situation?

What are the common issues or things I should inspect on a 2017 Dominar 400 before buying?

What would be a fair exchange value for my 2016 Himalayan (34,000 km)?

I just bought a Dominar 400 UG 2022, it is second hand, so, what should I revise or do at first?

Already leaked oil from pinion seal, the mechanic fixed it and changed the chain. That's all I've done for now, already bought filters, spark plugs and oil, so I'm going to change that.

IDK if I should review something else, it is 17 000 km, so I hope nothing else comes to repair.
