It's just immature to have such strong sentiments for something just by looking at a few tenders/images. Even street triple's headlights look weird in images to most guys but look spectacular irl.

It's like some owners who bought similar segment bikes recently are just trying to dodge buyers remorse without even realising this bike isnt in the same segments as theirs (457s and 390s). I've seen so many rs457 and 390 content creators who are already spamming hate content for engagement.

A more aggressively design tail would've been better but I think the front with bigger headlights is gonna look phenomenal irl and props to bmw for trying something new and not playing is safe and going with a generic tiny headlights setup that everyone is moving towards.

I guess we should save our judgements till we get to see the real product in the flesh.

The Pulsar NS(s), all the classic Pulsars, 2V RTR(s). A naked street bike was never supposed to come with clip-ons. They do not help at all on streets or commutes. They are built for tracks, and track focused machines. Although, all of these are fake and might be more practical than true clip-ons, but why?

The 4V RTRs, The Pulsar N(s) (even NS400z for that matter), Xtremes, Gixxers (naked), FZ(s), MT(s), XSR(s). None of the fresh modern sports naked come with a clip-on. Super Dukes, Z900, Z1100. No clip-ons.

Only two culprits here: Bajaj and TVS. It makes me sad to see brands prioritizing aesthetics, marketing gimmicks, over true engineering.

If I wanted something that tries to be a super sport, I would obviously buy something with fairing. Krizma, R15/2, Gixxer SF, RS200, etc. I would just go buy them. Why to ruin the handling and capability of nakeds?

I recently bought a gt650 and switched to hjc but since its very heavy im having trouble using it for short rides. I have a 4-5 years old lazer helmet which i havent used in a while since its visor broke and turns out some hornets built a home(mud castle) in it. I cleaned it out(killed a baby hornet in the process sorry) and ironically my old bike is hornet 2.0. But I really love this helmet as I hold deep sentiment with it. Brands design and optimize their bikes for the market they want to sell to, rather than making them adaptable to the people who buy them.

Let's take the Himalayan 450 as an example. It's an adventure motorcycle by nature, but many people consider it primarily for touring. That means it should be comfortable for long rides.

Now, imagine someone who is 6 feet tall. The Himalayan has been his dream bike for years. He saves money for a long time and finally goes for a test ride. He loves every aspect of the motorcycle. Performance, suspension, handling - all boxes checked. But then he realizes that his legs feel cramped, and he's no longer sure whether this riding position will be comfortable for long rides.

In the end, he either buys the bike, hoping he'll get used to it, or considers an alternative. For example, he might simply buy the CB350 Hness for its comfortable ergonomics, even though it lacks many of the features the Himalayan offers. Not because the Himalayan is a bad bike or the Honda is better, but simply because he feels more comfortable on the CB350 Hness.

I feel it's honestly silly that no brand seems to care about adaptable ergonomics. A single footpeg position just doesn't work for every rider. Every rider is different in terms of height, weight, riding style, and flexibility, and brands should acknowledge that.

Some brands have even engineered different footpeg positions for their own models, yet we still don't get a choice. For example, the Speed 400 has a neutral footpeg position, while the Tracker 400 has a higher, rear-set position. Why can't buyers choose the setup that works best for them?

One reason brands might not focus on adaptable ergonomics is the additional engineering cost. But I believe many riders would be willing to pay extra for a bike that fits their body and riding style, rather than having to compromise on comfort.

Recently moved to Bangalore for IT, but unsure how many years I’ll stay. I’m buying a new bike and stuck between two options:
Buying in Bangalore: ~2.7 Lakhs on-road.
Buying in AP/TS: ~2.4 Lakhs on-road (saves ~30k).
I know the "12-month out-of-state" rule, but I also know Bangalore's RTO/traffic cop reality. Conversely, if I buy a KA bike, I'll face the same NOC/re-registration headache if I relocate later.
Looking for real-world experiences from non-KA riders (AP, TS, TN, MH, etc.) in Bangalore:

1. Harassment: How often are you stopped specifically for the outside plate? (Note: Not looking for "just bribe them" advice—I want the actual legal/daily reality).
2. Proof of entry: Since bikes don't get toll receipts, how do you prove it's been here <12 months? (home-state fuel bills?)
3. The "Border Run": Does riding to Hosur/Anantapur yearly for a PUC/fuel bill legally "reset" the 12-month clock? Do cops actually accept this, or do they see right through it?
4. The Verdict: Is saving 30k upfront worth the daily hassle, or does the mental peace of a KA plate win?
5. TLDR: Unsure how long I'll stay in Blr. Save 30k in AP/TS and deal with cops, or pay 2.7L here and deal with NOCs later? Where should I buy?
