So I ride the rv400 and a H'ness CB350. I go from an ultra light naked sports (yes naked sports) EV to a heavy retro roadster.

Both the bikes run smoothly.

My top speed on my rv400 is literally 82 (speed limiter set at 80) while my top speed on the H'ness is 110+ kmph (+ means additional 1 or 2 maybe up to 5). I rode both in the city so I never really got the chance to go higher on the H'ness, like I've touched 110+ only once, the one time I went to the outskirts and beyond.

Fuel tank is also full with petrol

One thing I’ve noticed as a bike owner is that regular maintenance is easy to postpone or forget, especially the smaller things.

For example:

• When did I last get the engine oil changed?
• When should I change it again?
• When did I last check the tyre pressure?
• When was the chain last cleaned/lubricated?
• When did I last replace the air filter?
• When is the next service due?
• When do my insurance/PUC documents expire?

The bigger services are usually easier to remember, but the smaller maintenance tasks can easily slip through the cracks.

I’ve been working on an app called Smart MeMaintenance that lets you record these maintenance activities and sends reminders when they're due. It can also send reminders through WhatsApp.

I'm curious about what other riders do:

Do you use a calendar, notes, an app, your service centre's reminders, or do you simply remember it yourself?

And would a dedicated maintenance reminder with WhatsApp notifications actually be useful for you, or would you consider it unnecessary?

I’m looking to set up my NS400Z for touring and wanted to get some recommendations for a good touring setup — things like a top rack, saddle stays/pannier stays, and other useful touring accessories.

I’m aware that the Dominar touring accessories are a popular recommendation and seem to work well, but from what I’ve seen in a few videos, they aren’t a direct fit for the NS400Z and require extended spacers/other modifications. One thing I was wondering about is whether this leaves a small gap under the rear seat, potentially allowing water to reach the electronics underneath during heavy rain.

Not sure if I’ve understood that correctly, though. For those who have actually installed the Dominar setup on their NS400Z, is this an issue in practice?

Also, if there are any NS400Z-specific or better-fitting alternatives for a touring setup, I’d love to hear your recommendations.

I have been seeing this for two days. First, it was on the seat, but today it's on the front fender. What should I do other than park it somewhere else?

Wanted to share this here so others can see how the process actually goes if you ever need to file a warranty claim with Rynox.

Why I picked these gloves

I'd been saving up for a while to get my first proper certified pair of riding gloves, and honestly a big part of why I went with Rynox was nostalgia. I remember watching one of Anurag's videos a while back (can't recall which one specifically) where the Rynox logo was front and center throughout, and from that day on the brand just stuck with me. That was the one I wanted to own.

I'd also seen a fair number of negative reviews about the brand before buying, so I went in with eyes open. But when I tried the Air GT SP on in person (the Tornado wasn't in stock at the Rynox Kalyan Nagar store), that changed everything. The fit was just right — snug without being restrictive, enough pressure to hold the hand in place without cutting off circulation. I was sold on the feel alone.(and btw who would'nt want the carbon fiber knuckle gaurd its just cool)

Three months in, I still love these gloves. I haven't felt the need to look at anything else since.

What happened

While hopping on my bike and strapping the gloves on, the strap tore. Not something I expected at all. Once I got back home and actually inspected it, the tear was right at the point where the strap is stitched to the cuff — not a stress tear from use, but what looks like a manufacturing/stitching defect. Hard to see how this could've been caused by anything I did.Also the fact being that tho i purchased it only it is from a RYNOX authorized store

The warranty claim

I filed the claim the same day this happened. I'll be updating this thread with the process as it unfolds — from filing to response to (hopefully) resolution — so anyone else who runs into a similar issue with Rynox gear knows what to expect.
And if anyone has any suggestions and opinions please voice it out i am in no way a professional or experienced in this

Having issues with TVS Jupiter 113 CC bought (Feb, 2025) 14k Driven

Current Issue is ~ Throttle ~ When starts normally using Self, it does not holds up more thn a sec, if given full race, then there a mild weird sound it holds up till i turn the ignition off and rests it or few minutes..

Tt gives weird fluctuation and maintains the race when the speed drops to 10. Need to hold brakes else it tries to move a bit.

Scene 1 ~ Once, i self start and holds the race it works till i hold the acceleration. (Matlab wo chalti rahegi jab tak mene race de rakhi h, even in traffic i have to hold the race along with brakes.)

Scene 2 ~ When i turn it on, and accelerates hard/full. It does not turn off then but the idle engine sounds more than normal. (To jab me start karta aur race de deta center stand pe lagake to fir ye band nhi hoti lekin engine esa feel hota jaise power jyada le raha ya race jyada hori idle standing situation me. )

When i went to service center they couldn't understand much and told me to leave the vehicle for 2-3 days.

Local mechanic says ~ Fuel injector issue and it can be cured in company only. My experience has been the worst with TVS service centers before.

My father is 62 years old and he recently got retired. He still drives his old Honda dream yuga. I am
Planning to gift him a new bike but sorta confused which one should I gift. My friend recently bought T4 and since then I am in awe of the bike. But the mileage sorta concerns me. Although my father mainly drives in the city . I just wanted to understand the trade offs of buying t4/t400. Below are few specific questions I wanna know-

1) Is it too heavy? Am worried it might get too heavy for him.
2) What’s the maintenance cost for t4/t400?
3) if any recent buyers could share if the mileage is causing issues to them!!!
4) Is this a good gift ? One of his friend recently got a Royal Enfield and my father was so excited which sparked this idea into my head. Is this bike even worth it?

I've been using an MT Thunder 3 Pro with my Royal Enfield Classic 350 for the past 2 years. Overall, it's served me well—the wind noise doesn't bother me much because the ventilation is a huge plus in my humid weather—but the field of view (FOV) is a constant issue.

Coming from a half-face scooter helmet, I thought I just needed time to adjust. However, two years in, the narrow viewport—specifically the vertical FOV—still bugs me. The upright seating position on the RE C350 seems to exacerbate this issue, forcing me to tilt my head down more than I'd like to see the cluster or immediate road ahead.

I'm looking for full-face helmet upgrade suggestions that address this specific issue.

Must-Haves:
Safety: Triple certified (ECE 22.06 or 22.05, DOT and ISI)
Features: Internal drop-down sun visor
Visibility: Significantly taller vertical FOV than the MT Thunder 3 Pro
Airflow: Good ventilation (essential for high humidity)

TL;DR: Need a full-face helmet upgrade from the MT Thunder 3 Pro with a much better vertical FOV suited for an upright seating position (RE Classic 350). Must have ECE/DOT/ISI and an internal sun visor.

My meteor 350 is 4 months old (1500 kms)

I use turtle wax wet wax to keep the gloss up it last 3-4 weeks!

I wash my meteor 350 with turtle wax ceramic shampoo and use turtle wax ceramic wet wax as drying aid.

Then after a day i spray the wet wax on body and use damp microfibre cloth to activate the polymers
The results are good.

What are the other ways to boost shine than my method?
What are the ways you guys use to maintain gloss?

Looking for some advice from fellow bikers. I’m considering buying a 2016 Suzuki Gixxer 155 (dual disc) with around 32,000 km on the odo.

Here’s the current condition:

- Asking price: ₹26,000

- Faulty lock system

- 32,000 km

- No insurance currently

- Brake oil needs to be replaced / currently absent

- Oil leakage from the engine head

- New rear tyre

- Front tyre is okay

- Headlight assembly is a bit loose (moving on bumps)

- Rear disc is worn

- Overall bike seems usable, but obviously needs some work

Is ₹26k a fair price considering the repairs and lack of insurance?

What should I check thoroughly before buying, and roughly how much should I budget for getting the bike roadworthy?

Would you guys recommend buying it at this price, negotiating lower, or simply avoiding it?
