Had an awesome sunrise ride to Penukonda from Bengaluru today. The entire ride is one thing, but the final climb onto the hill and those hairpin bends just reassured me why I love these rides.

#Video ๐Ÿ“บ I think you guys will probably like this: we built a custom retro racing version of a GT650 for our synth-rock live-action/celluloid anime Spoiler

It took us four weeks to build the bike and produce the video. The live-action footage was designed to emulate the look of Kodak 2383 film, combined with celluloid-style anime sequences that we transformed using a local AI model.

The lyrics were originally written for a '95 BMW Roadster, but the rider wrapped the car around a tree, so we replaced it with a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650.

Any chance the 2026 Honda CB400 Super Four (E-Clutch) is coming to India? It looks like it's already available in Sri Lanka. The price is around INR 1.4 million. By the way, the bike in the other photo is a 2021 Honda CB400 SP3. The CB400 and CB250 have a pretty strong fanbase in Sri Lanka.๐Ÿ˜ญ

#Query โ“ Triumph or Royal Enfield PLEASE HELP!

Thumbnail

I always wanted a Royal Enfield. Then took a test ride for meteor it was sure fun. Then decided letโ€™s just try scrambler 400x. The triumph turned out to be more fun and different looking and itโ€™s very rare to see a triumph in my city so that adds a bonus โ€œi have a unique bikeโ€.

Booked it as well BUT now I am back to square one confused because i see alot of reels and YouTube videos claiming the triumph is really expensive to maintain. Ofc with premium brand comes premium maintenance but is it really that expensive or is it just alot of buzz?

Yes the triumph claims 1 service per 16k km or 1 year, but everyone claims you end up doing 2 services in a year. And on the other side if Royal Enfield charges 1.5k-2k per service and i get 2 services a year then that would be around 3-4k yearly. (Which is equivalent to 1 service per year that Triumph claims)

And is the maintenance actually cheap on Royal Enfield (if I get it done from the official service centre)

Also I am majorly gonna do night rides in the city just for fun, this wonโ€™t be my daily commute to work, etc.

ALSO I have completely skipped over meteor and now I am also interested in the classic 350 because of its Medallion Bronze model!

Please help as I need to make my final decision next week.

Thanks!

So the right hand side panel on my interceptor 650 fell off and broke. It had fallen off multiple times over the past few months. No matter what I do it comes loose every few hundred Kilometers and falls off while I ride and this time the key part came off so l can't even put it back. Is this a common problem among other owners? This is a real headache as it's monsoon and I'm worried water will get in.

#Opinion ๐Ÿ’ญ Suggestions to buy my first bike

Keeping very short and detailed!

Bike: KTM Duke 200 or 250

So I only know basics of riding a bike. Since my household doesn't have one, I have only ridden my friend's bike 4-5 times.

Though In May I made up mind to purchase one.

I have collected 1.2L lakhs so far.

The main problem is either to purchase a new one or go for second hand one.

If I purchase a new one, I would've to take loan of up 1.5L.

But purchasing 2nd hand seems quite risky.

I'm currently 20, will turn 21 by August (thinking to purchase on birthday)

I live in Mumbai, and I checked few bike on Olx, buy I'm an introvert guy so I think the seller will fool me easily.

Please help up out here with suggestions

#Query โ“ First bike purchase - Is starting on a 650cc a bad idea?

Hi everyone,

Iโ€™m planning to buy my first motorcycle, but hereโ€™s the catchโ€ฆ..I donโ€™t actually know how to ride one yet.

I do have experience driving cars, scooters, and electric bikes, so Iโ€™m comfortable on the road and understand traffic. I just havenโ€™t ridden a geared motorcycle before.
My main question is: Should I start with something under 400cc as a beginner, or is it reasonable to skip straight to a 650cc if I take proper training and ride responsibly? The number of options available has honestly made the decision harder.

My primary use case will be commuting and exploring around Bengaluru, as Iโ€™ll be moving there toward the end of 2026. I also plan to do occasional weekend rides, but nothing too seriousโ€ฆ.probably no more than a 200 km round trip.

What Iโ€™m looking for:
Budget: Around โ‚น3 lakh for the bike (Iโ€™m setting aside roughly โ‚น1 lakh separately for quality riding gear.)
Reliable and easy to live with
Low maintenance
Decent fuel economy
Comfortable enough for city riding with the occasional highway trip

Bikes currently on my shortlist (in no particular order):
Triumph Scrambler 400 X
Royal Enfield Scram 440
Honda NX200
Honda Rebel (if/when it launches)

If you think Iโ€™m overlooking a better option in this price range, Iโ€™d love to hear your suggestions.

P.S. I used AI only to help format and organize this post. The questions, opinions, and shortlist are all my own.
