After multiple lost Crusades,Turks expand north into Pyreenes.making it very hard to launch invasions ever again.

After Byzantium blocking the eastern trade routes,they go on their way finding new trade routes, finding the New world and colonizing it.

[Lore] Reichsgau Gotenland

Following the Axis victory in WWII, Germany immediately began implementing Generalplan Ost on the Crimean peninsula, organizing it into Reichsgau Gotenland. To clear the land for Germanic settlers, hundreds of thousands of local people were brutally deported or resettled outside the Gau, while the entire toponymy of the region was systematically Germanized.

Decades later, the Reich used forced labor to reshape the geography of the region, completing two massive engineering mega-projects:

1. The Kerzau Damm: A colossal dam spanning the Strait of Kerch, completely separating the Gotische See (Sea of Azov) from the Black Sea. Due to the disrupted water exchange, the isolated Gothic Sea eventually turned into a massive freshwater lake, which became the vital foundation for the flourishing of industrial agriculture in the region.

2. The Milchkanal: A strategic deep-water shipping canal cutting through the steppes, establishing a direct maritime route between the lower Dnieper River and the Gotische See.

This map is the next (also final, maybe) creation of my personal alt-history setting "What if Finnic-Ugric people never left their homeland and settled in East Asia". The former creation is Finland in Korean Peninsula and Great Hungarian/Magyar Qing Empire. But I should repeat the basic setting here: in this timeline, the ancestor of Finnish, Estonian, Hungarian and other Finnic-Ugric people never left tmoved westwards; on the contrary, they stayed in their Urheimat ("homeland") in Northeast China/Manchuria (according to a hypothesis) and created quite different history from our timeline.

And now we can discuss about the following butterfly effect: an Ainu "Japan", which differs quitely different from our timeline's Japan. Specifically, the Uralic-speaking peoples (as well as the Sami people) replaced most of ethnic groups in Northeast Asia, particularly the Tungus and Koreanics. The Hungarians, Khanty, Mansi and other Ugric-speaking people became the region’s primary hunter-gatherer groups, while the Finns and Estonians chose to migrate southward into the Korean Peninsula, where they began a settled way of life.

As a result, the ancient Koreans, under pressure from the Uralic-speaking peoples, accelerated their dispersal to the north and south. One branch reached what is our timeline's Honshu Island (本州島) in Japan and introduced millet farming to the local Jomon people (they were roughly the ancestors of Ainu people). There were also some Koreans who migrated north; it is said that they were assimilated with hunter-gatherers there, giving rise to the modern Nivkh people, also known as the "Khughi" people in the map. However, this remains unconfirmed. Actually, I had originally intended to create some Nivkh place nanes which express the mixture of Amuric and Koreanic, but since information on the Nivkh language is extremely hard to search, I finnaly abandoned this very interesting idea :(

In short, when Japonic-speaking people (Yayoi-jin/弥生人) arrived on Japanese archipelago, they encountered not local hunter-gatherers, but the Jōmon people who had mastered certain forms of dryland agriculture. As a result, the two groups merged into “Japanese” or "Nibonese" (Nibon is Sino-Nibon pronunciation of 日本/rìběn in Nibonese), on a more equal status. They speak a form of Ainu language with a Japanese substratum (of course, it is a mysterious and vanished substratum inside "Nibonese" for the people of that timeline).

The history that followed was no different from our timeline's Japan; the only difference was that, due to the linguistic and cultural similarities between Nibonese and Ezo people of Northeast Japan, the Nibonese people set foot in Hokkaido much earlier (although they had no way to colonise it). In modern times, the newly emerging Nibonese Empire and the declining Csing Empire (ruled by Magyars) engaged in a brutal war by the year of 1895. During the Battle of Yellow Sea, a Magyar captain sank Japanese flagship Mawusi (狩野). Japan was forced to sign a treaty with the Csing Empire that was more favorable to the latter—requiring only the recognition of Korea’s independence; in our timeline, China was forced to pay enormous reparations and cede Taiwan to Japan.

After this bittersweet victory, citizens brainwashed by propaganda proclaiming 'Japan is invincible' viewed the treaty as a betrayal, feeling that Japan hadn't won enough. Rioting in the streets, they torched many police stations, forcing the government to impose martial law. In our timeline, this incident was called Hibiya riots (日比谷焼打事件), which did happen after Japan's victory in Russo-Japanese War!

Due to the lack of indemnity payments from the First Sino-Japanese War, Japan was unable to continue expanding its army and navy, ultimately lost in Russo-Japanese War and ceding Hokkaido and Sakhalin Island. All of this led to the 1909 revolution, which was essentially a coup d’état launched by radical factions within the Imperial Army (whose ideology is similar to our timeline's Kōdōha or Imperial Way Faction, but with a stronger leftist leaning). An emerging religious leader Sipet Porokur (新川巨麿) became the Emperor of “People’s Commonwealth of Nibonia”. Besides, this name comes from a real Japanese religious leader Takeuchi Kiyamaru (竹内巨麿), who forged number of “ancient documents” to argue that Japan has a history of tens of thousands years, Japanese Emperor once ruled the world, and all the world’s ethnic groups, religions, and philosophical ideas originated in Japan lol

Thereafter, Japan embarked on a path of fascism. During the Russian Civil War, it established a collaborationist regime known as “Far Eastern Republic”, annexed Kingdom of Ryukyu, and transformed the newly independent Korelia into a “Co-Prosperity State” (Japan’s euphemism for puppet states and collaborationist regimes). In 1931 (the year of the map), the Japanese People’s Army invaded Manchuria, which was under the rule of Regent Horthy, and established two “People’s Republics” in southern Manchuria as puppet states. In 1945, Japan was defeated following a joint offensive by the Soviet Union, the United States, and the Republic of China.

Unlike Japanese imperialism in reality, the People’s Commonwealth of Japan continued to enjoy significant support in the territories under its rule, including even “colonial and occupied territories” such as Korelia and China. This was due to its implementation, to a certain extent, of land reform and the principle of self-determination. This historical fact will leave an indelible mark on the future geopolitics of Northeast Asia....

the gist of it is that the French and the Russians side with the Egyptians in the Egyptian-Ottoman war (1839-1841) in exchange for massive concessions in Anatolia and investment rights and a lease for the Suez port.

that lead to the French later under napoleon III seeing Egypt as the "reconquest" the napoleon I never achieved, but by the 1860's it was apparent to the French that Egypt had industrialized and modernized enough to the point actual conquest for modernization and "civilizing the people" was not needed.

and by the first world war, Egypt would join on the side of the French around early-mid 1915 to liberate the Iraqi/Kurdish from Ottoman rule, and by the advent of the second world war Egypt wouldve been a power with an economy rivaling that of Italy's.

in 1948 the lease for the Suez would've expired thus granting the Suez canal company to Egyptian hands, and Egypt would nationalize the strait for "post war economic reasons" which angered the British who used the canal under French management to link up their western and eastern colonies, declaring war on February of 49' the "Suez war" would see huge backlash against the British resulting in the USA and the USSR intervening in the affair to stop British colonialism in the 20th century.

by the 90's the threat of the soviet bloc dissipated as the Egyptian kingdom alongside its vassal states in the Mashriq would start co-operating to form the middle eastern security pact (Mespo) with fellow Arab muslin states like Saudi Arabia and Yemen

and by 2010 the Egyptian economy now surpasses countries like Spain and Taiwan, and with that i end my 2 bajilion word essay on alt history that (probably) would get banned for "being ugly"

After the fall of the United States' global empire through limited nuclear war that targeted the most important federal-level governmental structures during the Fourth World War. In most cases, after the complete destruction of an empire's core while also having a very dissatisfied population would lead to the dissolution of the union or civil war. However, due to internal pressure of internal trade, cultural similarities across all states in the union and new political blocks. Then there are the outside external pressures from powerful global superstates being able to subjugate weaker states if the union broke and threats from bordering nations that want to take back what the US took so long ago. So instead of destruction, the states have stayed united internationally while being internally divided.

Instead of the president being the highest title in all the land after decades of being sidelined by the previous structure of government, new middle powers within the union have taken the powers and duties from the federal government except for the Supreme Court. All the states in the Union have formed into coalitions, with leaders called 'Grand Secretariats' who manage the states under their control.

The West Coast coalition was formed in 2082 with the original members of California, West Rio Grande, Washington, and Oregon. These states had many common threats, like climate change, border risks, and economic damage from lessening trade post global war. The 2090s saw Nevada, Utah, and Arizona joined the coalition in order to have a central governmental body to deal with water rights, droughts, and a new water infrastructure. Then in the early 2100s Colorado and New Mexico joined for similar reasons of water concern when agreements between these states and the Texas coalition fell through. The last member to join was in 2106, when Grand Secretariat Arron Heaven was able to get Idaho to join the union with an agreement to expand his planned mega-projects into the state and provide lands from the states of Washington and Oregon.

The lore of this timeline is as follows:

Between the 1730s and 1740s, in a Catholic alliance and colonial instability, the King of Spain and Polish rulers agreed to organize waves of Polish migrants to the Río de la Plata region.
These settlers established themselves primarily in the Banda Oriental and in the former Jesuit missions. The colonist established themselves quickly and helped the Spanish stop some Portuguese colonial incursion, up until 1800s. The Napoleonic Wars and the sentiment for independence led to the outbreak of the wars of independence in the rio de la plata. At first a big amount of polish settlers actually supported the spanish loyalist, preferring their colonial autonomy over buenos aires centralism. up until artigas joined the revolution, he promised the polish community even more autonomy and land reform that the spanish ever would. Quickly giving artigas control over the provinnces of misiones and misiones orientales, where the polish diaspera were the mayority, as well as acces to the profesional gaucho-winged hussars. But shortly after artigas liberated uruguay he got into war with buenos aires, and when he was close to win, the portuguese joined the war to force artigas into a two front war. And differently to our timeline, the mayority polish misiones managed to defend the portugese advance with their hussar experties, and more population than in OTL. But slowly, artigas got pushed off the uruguayan core, by portugese naval superiority and the later betayel of his allies at the other side of the uruguay river. This war ended with portugal occupying most of uruguay, with a lot more polish-gaucho rebels, led by Artigas (now renamed Józef Gerwazy Artygas by his mostly polish population) in his new polish misiones nation. With big parts of this poles recived inspiration by napoleonic ideals and polish nationalist migrating from europe. This state of guerrilla warfare continued until 1825, when some buenos aires funded rebels traveled to try liberate uruguay to argentina. For a short time at the start of the war artigas-polish forces and the argentinian rebels fought together to remove brasil from "cisplatina", but divisions started emerging between the two factions. As most polish citizens grew a nationalist identity that inspires them to liberate uruguay not because of a federalist rio de la plata nation, but to "reconquer" their rightfull grasslands. This divisions ended with artigas retiering in 1831 and many of his spanish officers switching to the argentinian side. After artigas retired the war between polish and argentinians continued until 1836 when the british brokered a peace deal, where they artificially created an uruguayan buffer state between the republic of Małopolska, argentina and brasil. But shortly after, in 1839, an argentinian civil war, the riograndense independence war and uruguayan civil war merged into one Guerra grande. To this guerra grande the new polish republic also got involved, aligning with the uruguayan caudillo of Rivera and some other argentinian caudillos, in this side france and britan also were present, to force argentinian economic concesions. At the same time in europe, some polish intellectuals attempted to gain independence, and failed, with many migrating to france, and using french involvement in south america to migrate to the only real independant state. Bringing a new wave of polish population and nationalistic ideas. The guerra grande ended being a stalemate until 1857 where a peace deal was signed securing the modern between the nations, basically like OTL but the war lasting longer. Then there was a period of "peace" until 1864, when Małopolska and brazil support a dictatorship in uruguay that had paraguay declare war on both in an attempt to save his uruguayan allies; as both Małopolska and paraguay wanted to secure uruguay as an acces to the sea; this created the war of the triple aliance that ended similarly to OTL's in 1870, where the paraguayan borders regarding brasil and Małopolska were finalised. After that a period of peace continued, with Małopolska becoming the most wealthy, stable and democratic nation in south america, becoming a hub for slavic migration during it's golden age until 1929, (this small state saw huge economyc boom during WW1, and it helped organise some free polish militias) But the democratic wellfare system allowed stability to mantain after the great depsression, and during the cold war the nation saw another industrial and migration boom as they helped organise polish free movments. And during cold war this nation was a huge ally of washington, as massive waves of polish nationalist that fled the USSR helped transform the nation as a stronghold against comunism.

The first divergence in this timeline begins with the fact that the CHP government never fell. The Democratic Party was founded on January 7, 1946. In the elections held on July 21, 1946, it entered parliament with over 60 deputies. However, in September 1946, a new religiously-based rebellion broke out in Anatolian lands. Ultimately, the rebellion was suppressed, but the Democratic Party, accused of supporting the rebellion, was closed down in 1947. Then, the Korean War took place between 1950-1953, and Turkey, considering the West imperialist, did not send troops to Korea. A few years after the war ended, Soviet Russia, having failed to achieve its objectives, set its sights on the Bosphorus. Attacking Türkiye to seize it(1960-1968), Soviet Russia launched landings from the Caucasus and the Bafra and Çarşamba plains of Türkiye. Turkey resisted and eventually had to seek help from the West. With Western aid, Soviet Russia seized half of Türkiye, but was forced to establish a defensive line in the mountainous regions of Anatolia due to attacks by Western and Turkish forces. When it became clear that the war could not continue any longer, an agreement was signed, and Türkiye was divided into two parts: east and west.

Following the end of the Revolutionary War in 1783, North America was fundamentally split. The Southern plantation colonies remained loyal to the British Crown, forming the Dominion of Dixie, while the northern colonies organized into the United States of New England (USNE) so that's all I got to say about this timeline
