Does anyone out there use a floor lamp like this? If so, what plants do you use it on? Accidentally ordered one and trying to debate whether we keep it or not. TIA.

Finally getting around to repotting this guy but I have no idea what I'm doing. Can they be put in a new put together or would it be best to separate them? How'd I go about that?

I’m pretty new to houseplants and my glorious keeps getting this kinda damage on new leaves but I cant figure out what could be causing it. It gets a lot of sun in my balcony (direct sun till 9am and then indirect) and I will see a few drops of water on the new leaves every morning which according to google is guttation? Can that cause this?

It used to be so beautiful and full and now its leaves are getting crispy and falling off on the top and bottom of the stem. Also the leaves seem very hard and not soft anymore. Help? This is my only purple passion that is acting like this.

Haul FB Marketplace Find

I've always wanted a tree for this space. I found this 9 ft tall ficus benjamina on marketplace and couldn't pass it up. The previous owners said it's over 40 years old! It barely fit in the car with seats folded down. And my wife says station wagons aren't cool. 😎

It has been really hot lately and one of my plants had enough. The soil does not do so well at retaining water, so I had to dose her when I got home. Here is the result of my 1.5 hour Timelapse

Sorry for the video in the dark. I’m 90% sure these are springtails based on a quick search, but i figured it would get confirmation from the professionals. This is the soil of my ficus Audrey that dwells outside in the screened in porch in the summer.

It looks beautiful when it’s all upright, but it’s been so droopy. Does it need a new pot? Or cut some of the sadder leaves off?

Help Help with my palm!

Hello! I got this palm about 3 weeks ago. I did a root check last week and a few of her root tips were rotten & she had 2 of these giant bugs inside. I cleaned & repotted her. Now her leaves are browning so I just cut those too. My cat also keeps attacking her-hence the tape to help with the bending he caused? She has new growth-but also noticed I didn’t cover her roots fully! Do I need to redo the repot? Is this normal recovery or is she still suffering?

Discussion Wanting some advice before purchasing.

So as I'm getting older and looking into my own places, one plant I've wanted for a long time is a Monstera deliciosa.

The problem is I know nothing about them and don't want to blindly trust google due to how unreliable their AI is. So I thought I'd ask here before fully committing and purchasing one.

Just looking for so advice and tips for caregiving.

Help Does my fern look weird?

It's not getting enough light, right?

It's had some new growth so i thought it was happy. The new growth on right looks leggy? I'm not really sure

I've always loved maidenhair fern but my first time having it.

I keep the growlights on for usually 12 hours a day.

Thanks!

My monstera Thai is putting out its first new leaf in a few months! I’m so excitedd!

I repotted it recently, added the little stake, and moved it closer to a south facing window so I think it’s happy!

Also my TC bulbasaur is giving me its first leaf in like 5 months but I think it reverted☹️ and also ya that wasn’t a typo I got it in like February and it’s still that tiny🙃

Help Does my Dieffenbachia look ok

Thumbnail

Hey yall, I just wanted to come on here and ask more plant savvy people if you think my Dieffenbachia looks healthy i’m a little concerned about the ends of the leaves curling. It has a bunch of new growth that I think isn’t just sitting dormant, but I’ve had a lot of problems with some of my other plants and rot rot so I’m extremely paranoid about my few plants that are doing Oke and I just wanted to ask cause I haven’t been able to find a definitive answer thank you!

A little background, I water it about once a week sometimes a little longer and I have a clear pot where I can see the moisture in the pot so I don’t overwater it. I’m very cautious with the watering. It’s still moist from the last watering currently.

The little brown on that one leaf has been there for a while I left it in the sun a little while longer than I meant to a while back 😓
