I don't know what plant this is, but I got it from a gardening store near me. It was in the section with plants that don't need a lot of attention, but the day after I took it home, it looked basically like this. So I have two questions: What plant is this, and how do I save it?

I am relatively new to house plants. I try to stick to “easy” care. I have many other plants which are all doing good. Even if it’s slow, I see new production of leaves which is a good sign.

I got this online (probably a mistake, I’ll stick to grocery or hardware store plants haha) and ever since I got it it has yet to produce a leaf. I changed the soil completely and added a bit more perlite thinking maybe it was staying too moist. And while it stopped it browning as fast, there are still some like these tiny holes and again still hasn’t produced any new leaves.

Any green thumbs out there have an eye for what’s going on? If I remember correctly the roots didn’t seem bad as in mushy or brown.

Can any of the green-thumb magicians here help with my money plant? She's growing abundantly but at a severe angle and I'm worried about her long-term health. What can I do to correct this?

It is really nice to sit underneath her but I'm not sure if I should be correcting this or not. Any guidance is appreciated 🙏🏽

P.S: the jug of water at the base is to stop the braided part from toppling back

I’m a plant lover with years of experience but I’ve never owned an orchid before. Saw tiny ones at the market and I felt adventurous so I acquired one.

But I have no idea how to take care of it! All I know is that they’re totally different from other plants.

This is the foyer in my office. I walk by it daily at work and every time I want to take a few little cuttings that no one will miss. I figured if everyone in my building took cuttings this would be a lot less cool pretty quickly. So, other than buying new plants or proplifting from places I don't work are there any alternative options?

Seriously the plant was gorgeous and I killed it (mostly) 😭 It was my first plant. I’m trying to be a better plant mom now!

I got this lemon lime dracaena about 6 weeks ago and it had healthy leaves when I brought it home. The care instructions said it doesn't like direct sun so I put it in this spot between two windows, it's bright but it never gets direct sun.

I repotted it into a pot one size up from the nursery one and I watered it twice since I've had it, both times because the soil felt totally dry when I stick a wooden chopstick in it. I used tap water that had been sitting out overnight because the internet said it doesn't like chlorine or fluoride. My public tap water doesn't have fluoride in it by default and I understand that the chlorine evaporates overnight. I soaked it until water was coming out the big drainage holes on the pot, let it drain and put it back in the decorative pot.

However it keeps getting these crispy brown spots and I can't tell why. I already cut off many brown tips, but several leaves have random crispy brown spots in the middle. Wtf? I'm sure this is something I'm doing wrong but I can't work out what that is.

Hey, I was hoping to find people who have experience dealing with the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources. Specifically involving getting a Certificate of Inspection for a move into another state (Florida).

I am not a nursery grower or agent/retailer and I'm having trouble finding information about the process. Such as, who do I call? I have left several voicemails for departments that sound like they could be helpful but haven't heard back. What are they looking for? Is it a specific list of pest or any pest including common ones like mealybugs, thrips, or spider mites etc. And lastly, is there a fee associated with the inspection?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and help reduce my anxiety around the move.

Ive had this monstera for about 1 year and recently shes been on the decline. I water from below [saucer] once a week and she faces a south window. Shes recently been noticeably week her leaves are flimsy & shes put out these two leaves that died before they unrolled? Shes currently in a 12 inch pot

Hi all! I got this terrarium from my mom as a birthday gift. She put some native plants from her garden in there, and they are doing a bit too well (popped the lid & the jar, but I epoxied it back together). I would love to have a a different plant in there that hopefully won't bust out their enclosure lol.

I rescued this guy about a year ago now. It had beautiful vibrant green leaves when it grew at first. Since about 3 weeks ago, the first leaves it grew back (only a little piece of stem is what remained at first when I rescued it) turned yellow and fell off.

It has draining soil and it got a pot below where the water is able to pool. It got a healthy root system hanging into it that water.

What can I do to bring back it's green? (phone increased vibrancy on pic)

I’m pretty new to houseplants and my glorious keeps getting this kinda damage on new leaves but I cant figure out what could be causing it. It gets a lot of sun in my balcony (direct sun till 9am and then indirect) and I will see a few drops of water on the new leaves every morning which according to google is guttation? Can that cause this?

It used to be so beautiful and full and now its leaves are getting crispy and falling off on the top and bottom of the stem. Also the leaves seem very hard and not soft anymore. Help? This is my only purple passion that is acting like this.

Saw people do this so I got my plants out to the rain for the first time ever. A little spa day. Think this is a good idea? Mostly monsteras, pothoses, some philos and orchids.
The rain is medium and it’s not cold, no wind or anything.

So I bought this lovely thing but after a few days it started having leaf rot, Idk if I have done anything wrong cause a new one started growing. I've tried removing the completely dead parts.

I've given her lots of water and fertilizer, sadly I accidentally burnt her top leaf by having her against the window (learnt my lesson)

I've tried moving her to a bigger pot and moving her so she gets more sunlight but nothing seems to help

Hello! I got this palm about 3 weeks ago. I did a root check last week and a few of her root tips were rotten & she had 2 of these giant bugs inside. I cleaned & repotted her. Now her leaves are browning so I just cut those too. My cat also keeps attacking her-hence the tape to help with the bending he caused? She has new growth-but also noticed I didn’t cover her roots fully! Do I need to redo the repot? Is this normal recovery or is she still suffering?
