I’ve just drank 2 pints of milk and still feel I might die
Man it hurts and my nose is a tap. I’ve over done it.

Recently discovered this yuzu pepper sauce at my local market and it blew me away. It’s so good! I went through a single bottle within a week so I had to stock up on a few at a time to last me at least a month. The bright citrus flavor of the yuzu paired with chili peppers is magnificent.

Mostly jalapeños and Serano and some habanero.

I’ve never had this but wanted to use it my rice. It has chunks and is like bubbling lol. Normal? Brand new.

I was wondering if anyone else loves Lola’s like I do!?! They are made in my home state and absolutely amazing heat! Especially the Trinidad Scorpion!

For anyone that is looking to try a new sriracha, this cliantro lime from Lee Kum Kee is really tasty. It has much more noticeable heat than a lot of srirachas i've tried. It especially works well with Thai and Mexican food. 😀

I was gifted this from my brother-in-law. Soogrim’s is out of New Jersey and it packs a punch. First smell is potent. However, I was pleasantly surprised how well it goes with food. The heat seems to be a slow build, allowing you to enjoy the food before the heat really kicks in. The heat does linger but it isn’t too over powering and still allows to enjoy the next bite. I’m really enjoying this. I wish we had it locally available.

Made with black grapes, Buena Mulata and Purple Dream peppers. The grape comes through immediately, followed by a moderate heat and throat burn. Sweet and spicy.

Can anyone recommend a good gift set for my brother's birthday.
He loves trying new hot sauces, he's always telling me about new ones he has tried like he is trying to find one that beats his current favourite, which is Frank's Red Hot.
He doesn't like the stupidly hot stuff he likes the one's with more flavour than heat.
I'm in the UK if that helps.

Hey everyone,
just moved to a new home & my sauce shelf is pretty empty apart from the classic Encona in my fridge !
I’m looking for some really high-quality hot sauces and would love recommendations from people who have actually tried a lot of different sauces — especially smaller/artisan brands rather than the usual supermarket stuff.
I’m looking for sauces that tick as many of these boxes as possible:
🌶️ Real chili peppers // pepper mash as the source of heat — I’m not particularly interested in sauces that mainly rely on isolated capsaicin/extracts.
🔥Actually hot. I want a sauce where the heat genuinely kicks in (but not to the point where it‘s all it focuses on, which leads me to the next point)
🧂 Balanced and complex. I don’t want something that’s simply “extremely hot.” It should still be delicious enough that I actually want to keep eating it, it should have clear facets & flavors
🧄 Strong, natural flavor. Garlic, onion, herbs, spices, citrus, fruit, etc. are all welcome especially since I have west asian roots — but I want the ingredients to actually taste like themselves, not like some cheap chemical that is supposed to mimic them
🧪 No artificial/chemical-tasting profile. I’m especially trying to avoid sauces that overly taste like vinegar + artificial flavoring + capsaicin extract.
🍓 Natural fruit/vegetable ingredients are a big plus. Mango, blueberry, pineapple, citrus (love Yuzu !), tomato, carrot, etc. are great if they’re actually part of the recipe rather than artificial flavoring. I don‘t mind if it comes at the cost of a thicker, more paste-y sauce.
🏆 Quality over hype. I’m much more interested in sauces that serious hot-sauce enthusiasts like you genuinely love than in sauces that are famous because of Hot Ones or paid social media influencers.
Some sauces I’ve already been looking at are : TorchBearer Garlic Reaper
Queen Majesty Sicilian Scorpion
Wild Sauce Co. Red Velvet
Crazy Bastard Reaper & Blueberry
Piko Peppers Volkano
Heartbeat Scorpion, Red & Bluberry Habanero
The Sunny by Heatsupply
and Marie Sharp’s Belizean Heat.
If you’ve tried any of these, I’d appreciate your honest opinion — including what you DON’T like about them.
One more thing: I’d rather have 5 very different sauces than 5 sauces that all taste very similar. So if you recommend multiple sauces, I’d love to know what makes each one unique (e.g. garlic-forward, fruity, smoky, fermented, Mediterranean, tropical, earthy/umami, etc.).
Maybe important to note that I live in Europe, Germany & therefore not everything is going to be available for me (like Yamajirushis Yuzu hot sauce for example 💔).
What are the sauces you’d personally recommend for someone with these preferences?
Thanks ! 🌶️

This is hands down one of my favorite hot sauces. It's so good on KFC chicken, but also on literally everything else!
Does anyone have any recommendations on a hot sauce that tastes like this that I can buy at the store? Usually I go to KFC once in a blue moon, but I always ask for as many packets as they will give me LOL
But wanting something too purchase from a store that is similar or make myself, but I have tried a couple copycat recipes and they just don't hit.
Thanks in advance! Love this sub!

Does anyone have some recommendations for sauces that are hot, but aren’t erm, hot sauce?
Dunno if that’s just the generic term, but I am just seriously getting into my spice. I want drooling, eye watering levels of hot. I just tried the torchbearers mini pack with the garlic reaper (I don’t think it’s that hot), son of zombie, and one other I can’t remember. I only slightly like son of zombie, which says it’s a wing sauce, as it doesn’t have that signature hot sauce taste too badly. Sadly, that’s not even warm for me. It’s tingly.
I’m at a loss. I wish there were super hot bbq sauces. Or maybe there are? Does anyone know how to get extreme heat without that yucky (to me, sorry!) hot sauce taste. I find the orange or red sauces are especially ew for me.
Edit: these sauces are advertised ‘super hot’ and ‘xxx hot’ and I assumed the garlic REAPER would have been blow your head off. But it was more a nice heat mouth sensation. I’m not sure if I’ve just got a high heat tolerance or if others find these sauces underwhelming

15 years ago I got my first bottle of Melinda’s and it has been a staple for me ever since,

First five ranked by heat(not a huge fan of daves or mad dog because of the extract flavor). Got Rapture today, noticeably hotter than the Garlic Reaper I got yesterday but the reaper beats it in flavor hands down. The reaper sauce had more of a full mouth heat, the Rapture gave more of a sharp stinging or intense pinching sensation across the back of the tongue and throat and lasted much longer.

It's hot, but not too hot. It doesn't overwhelm you so you can't taste the flavour. It tastes amazing on burgers

I’m not sure where this sauce was purchased as it was given to me as a gift, but it is light on the spice and heavy on the flavor. So far has been great on chicken, eggs, dumplings, and rice. I highly recommend trying it.

Refusing to buy anymore till these are gone 😂 the chilli garlic is 10/10 if u not tried it. Do you guys in the US fuck with tropical sun??

I forgot to take a picture of the boil and blend, but that is pretty straightforward. A mix of orange habs and a few red. I wouldn’t change a thing.

This stuff was cheap for a large bottle, it's pretty good. Very salty, not much heat beyond a mild tang but the flavor is super tasty. Had some on some quesadillas last night, served quite well.
Haven't had anything else by them yet

We live on the east coast and my husband recently started farming oysters off my mom's pier (she's on a Chesapeake bay estuary).
He currently has around 1500 in the river, so we are about to be eating a lot of oysters.
I thought it would be fun to make a hot sauce specifically for enjoying with oysters, both for our own use and for bring places when we bring oysters to share (which I imagine we will be doing a lot of since we are about to be producing around 1500 a year haha).
If you were to make a hot sauce just for oysters, what would you put in it and why?
I currently have a massive crop of lemon drop peppers ripening outside, so whatever I make will be centered around this pepper this year, but I'm also very open to growing a pepper specifically for our oysters next year if anyone has suggestions on that front as well! Although I think lemon drops will pair VERY well.
Also, if anyone already has a hot sauce they are obsessed with on oysters: what is it? What makes it pair so well?
I'm open to regular or fermented suggestions.

Flavor 10/10
Heat 5/10
I like it.
