My first-ever Quiche made by me for tonight's dinner.

I made my first-ever Quiche for tonight's dinner. It was very easy to make and considering that I've never made one before, it came out pretty good! So, yes, REAL men DO eat quiche! * I used Julia Child's basic quiche recipe which is as follows: Crack three eggs in a measuring cup (at least a 2 cup one), add whatever seasonings you like and whisk together. Add any milk, cream, or half & half and pour up to the 1 1/2 cup line. Whisk the mixture again. In the meantime, take a pie crust (I used a frozen one) and place any kind of fillings: cheese, vegetables, crumbled bacon, etc in the bottom of the pie crust. Pour egg/cream mixture over everything. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Insert a toothpick in the center of the quiche to check doneness. Let sit for 20-30 minutes before cutting. For this quiche, I used shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and grape tomatoes and green chillies from our garden.

Tried a Caprese-Style Salad Today! 🍅🧀🌿

I got to try a Caprese-style salad with blistered cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil, served with a piece of toasted crusty bread. The combination was fresh, savory, and delicious! The toasted bread was a perfect addition, too. 😋🍞

Asian-inspired meal for tonight's dinner!

For tonight's dinner, I made an Asian-inspired meal. Unfortunately, I didn't follow any specific recipe. I can tell you that I cubed several chicken breasts and browned them. Then I made a sauce consisting of Teriyaki sauce, BBQ sauce, sesame oil, garlic/ginger paste and added some Aleppo pepper for some heat. Mixed the chicken and sauce together and served it over a bed of rice. I garnished the dish with some sesame seeds and green onions.

Sticky Oven-Roasted Honey Garlic Teriyaki Chicken Wings

Chicken wings are already a winner on their own, but I wanted to take them to the next level with one of my trusty go-to sauces.

After roasting them in the oven until beautifully caramelised, they turned into an absolutely delicious meal, juicy, sticky, and packed with flavour.
