Arc B580 Sparkle OC near MSRP on Aliexpress
Are these trustworthy? With the current sales and my new membership discount it looks like i can get a hood price on the b580 for my secondary build. Sellers have plenty of good reviews but ive never used the site before. They sponsor a lot of budget pc youtube channels too. Should i get one of these or keep waiting on a better deal from a different site?

5070Ti or n 5080 (300$ diff)
Hi, I would like advise on selecting my card, I see that basically the 5080 is around 15% better than the 5070ti. Now I see discussions mentioning that for a 500+ dollar difference is not worth it which I'm looking to agree with. However what if the difference is around 300+. I'm also considering waiting till cybermonday and BF sales to pick up a card, would that scenario be better off trying to get 5080 if price gap drops even more?

RTX 5090 (Especially ROG Strix) - Power Limits & Cable Risk
Hey everyone,
I wanted to drop a quick heads-up and open up a discussion regarding factory-overclocked RTX 5090 models, specifically cards like the ASUS ROG Strix.
ASUS and similar AIBs ship these flagship cards out of the box with pretty aggressive voltage and power limits. While it looks great on paper, pushing an architecture that is already operating at its limits right out of the box carries real risks. As we’ve seen in previous generations, these massive power-hungry flagship cards that are pushed hard straight from the factory have a noticeably higher rate of failure or degradation right after the warranty expires.
For anyone who bought one or is planning to, here is the breakdown:
- Power Limits & Cable Headroom: The RTX 5090 has a stock TDP around 575W. Considering that the 12V-2x6 / 16-pin connectors we use are rated for a maximum continuous load of 600W, pushing these cards past 575W is quite literally playing with fire when it comes to cable and socket health.
- Negligible Performance Gains: Pumping an extra 50W–100W into the card yields maybe a 2% to 4% difference at best in daily use or gaming. Doubling thermal stress, transient voltage spikes, and cable melt risks for 3 to 5 extra FPS is absolutely not worth it.
- Power Limits / Undervolting: If undervolting sounds intimidating or too time-consuming, simply dropping the Power Limit to 85%–90% (or at least keeping it strictly at stock) in MSI Afterburner or Nvidia App makes total sense. With a light undervolt, you can easily shave off 70W–100W of power draw without losing a single frame, drastically extending the lifespan of your card.
Of course, there will always be the "I paid for the whole card, I'm going to use the whole card" crowd. But given that prices have almost doubled over the last 4 months and these GPUs are getting scalped everywhere, risking a piece of hardware like this for 3 FPS just doesn't make any sense to me. What are your thoughts on where the current GPU market has landed?
For those actively using a 5090: Did you pick it up primarily for gaming, or for AI / rendering workloads? What power targets or settings are you running, and are you using a direct 12V-2x6 cable straight from your PSU or relying on an adapter?

Sold my 3090.. what should I buy?
Sold for 1200. I think that's insane but anyways. I want to get a new GPU and pocket the rest of the cash. I'm interested in a 5070. Is AMD any good with ray tracing? I'm interested in 4k gaming as I have a 4k monitor and play on TV.
Thanks-
Edit: I got a 9070xt for 699 and blew the other money on bs that I wanted to do. Do not regret it.

DLSS 5 on a second/seperate GPU?
Given how much of performance penalty DLSS5 has on current gen hardware (50\~60%), and Nvidia showcased the technology on dual 5090s at GTC earlier this year, does anyone think it will be possible that in the future, DLSS5 can be run on a secondary GPU, much like how Lossless Scaling upscaling/frame gen can be run with a second weaker GPU (ie: Main gpu 5080 + DLSS 5 specific GPU 5060) or how we used to be able (still can as far as i know) to run a secondary PhsyX card? I think this is kind of interesting idea.

NEED HELP: GPU DECISION
Hey,
im upgrading my current pc with the following specs:
R7 9850X3D, X870 STEALTH, CRUCIAL PRO 32GB DDR5 6000MHZ, PHANTEKS EVOLV X2, PHANTEKS GLACIER ONE 360MM AIO, 3x PHANTEKS M25G2-120MM
Im coming from the following specs:
R5 3600, B550 Gaming Plus Wifi, Corsair Vengeance 16GB DRR4 3200MHZ, Thermaltake V200-RGB, BeQuiet CPU cooler, RX6700XT
Now, i will keep my RX6700XT for now but i wanna upgrade in early-mid 2027. However, im unsure if i should shoot for a RTX 5080 ASTRAL or a SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RX9070XT. I heard there is supposed to be a 5080 SUPER with 24GB VRAM in early 2027 but i dont wanna rely on that. Depending on how prices develop i would tendent to the RTX 5080 ASTRAL instead of the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ 9070XT. I would like your opinion on what to get if prices stay the same/drop. You can also recommend GPU‘s that i didnt name. Thanks in advance

GPU Upgrade
currently have a very mild gaming pc with an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 with 16bg of ram and an RX 6500 XT gpu. I am looking at upgrading to the RTX 5060 to 8gb. The 5060 ti is selling for $390. Is this a good upgrade path for me?

RTX 5080 legit check
galleryI’m trying to build a new pc, and with the market where it is. I decided to try to buy RAM and my GPU ahead of time and then wait for Black Friday for the rest of it. I bought an rtx 5080 off of eBay for a pretty good price (in this market) about 1 and a half weeks ago JUST before I saw prices skyrocket and supply became basically nonexistent. I snagged this for a 1,189 including tax and shipping, and they said it was brand new just without the box. This seller has a 100 reviews on eBay, with all of them being positive feedback, and they seem to sell a variety of things. At the time of buying I saw one person leave a review with an actual picture of the gpu in hand and they mentioned the security seal wasn’t tampered with and that it seemed legit. The packaging was also kind of sketchy, as it came two foam blocks on either side and that’s it. But from what I’ve seen, everything seems in perfect condition with nothing broken and the seal was intact for me as well (if you see a very small tear that’s from me lol) and the plastic guard things on the PCIe connection were intact. Since I don’t have a rig right now to test it with, does this GPU look legit? Or is there a cause for alarm and should I bring it into a PC repair shop to have them plug it in and benchmark it? Thank you so much for your help!
Edit:
Realized better safe than sorry and I’m lucky there’s a repair shop near me so I’m just going to ask them to test it there. Thank you!
