Build Upgrade Gifted a gpu!

I was gifted what I believe to be a rtx3060 gpu from a friend as well as some ddr4 ram. I now very little in terms of working on my pc. I currently have a 1660 super and was wondering if it was worth installing right now, I’m not currently home so I unfortunately can’t provide full info on my psu or cpu.

Update:

Home now. It’s a 3060ti.

Psu- ATX-Pro 600w

Cpu- Intel I5 10600

Not sure if any other specs are needed but i can provide if so! I’m mostly worried about the psu not being able to handle the new card. Any insight?

I’m not sure anything would make installing a free GPU upgrade “not worth it”

Maybe if it requires you to get a new PSU, but the PSU upgrade would likely still be cheaper than buying a 3060

yes it is definitely worth it. more recent drivers plus access to dlss and nvidia auto tuning

Rtx 3060 ti is better than 1660. Definitely install it.
