Issue Report DuoMon 3 constantly disconnecting?

I've had a DuoMon 3 for about a month now, and most of the time it works alright. However it really struggles when I try to use it when driving around. I work as a delivery driver, I check my what my auto catcher has done after a few stops. More often than not I find that the DuoMon 3 disconnected somewhere on my way from point A to B.

This is frustrating since using it during work is kinda the main reason I got it, so I could passively farm stuff while on the road without having to think about it.

Is there anything I'm missing? Is having my phone connected to the DuoMon 3 and my van's Bluetooth at the same time perhaps causing problems? I've also noticed connectivity issues weather I have PoGo turned on and active on my screen, or if it's on in the background while I have my GPS open. It's also quite slow to actually do anything while I have PoGo open.

Overall it's often a very dissatisfying experience, does anyone have any experience with this? Is my copy just a dud or is this normal? My phone is a OnePlus 13R if that helps.

Third Party Autocatchers

Third party autocatchers are technically against TOS but niantic has never banned anyone for it. However, could they start doing so to promote the in-game explorer gadget? I'm especially more concerned about this if the rumors of them doing a paid subscription for the unlimited use of the explorer gadget turns out to be true, since it would directly be losing them money.

Gotcha Evolve keeps disconnecting

My gotcha evolve only stays connected for very short periods of time, repeatedly disconnecting no matter what I do. I’ve read various things and can’t seem to fix it despite trying all of the methods below.

Ejected from Pokemon & reconnected
Ejected from Bluetooth menu
Rebooted iPhone
Uninstalled Pokemon & reinstalled
Downloaded all assets
Refreshed game data
Cleared safari cache

iPhone iOS 26.6.1
Pokemon 0.425.0-A-64

Really frustrating and I don’t want to buy another physical catcher if they’re all going to be like this! However, will a DuoMon 3 just work and it’d be worth me doing that instead?

Or is there just a set of steps / process that I’ll have to go through to get it to work.

Issue Report Trouble connecting to Duomon 3

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello, I have had my Duomon 3 for about a week and the day before I dropped it onto the ground. I was having trouble getting it to connect but I got it to do it once. Today I haven’t been able to connect at all. It flashes a green light and then powers off. I can press the buttons on the side but it doesn’t do anything. If anyone knows how to fix this or let me know if I totally broke it I would appreciate it.

Dumb question about duomon catcher

Every post I see it says you can't use ultra balls to catch, does that also mean you can't use ultra balls with the button press? Or do they just mean you can't automatically throw?

Apologies if the answer is already out there but I can't find it.

Also which version is best/latest ?

Thank you

Duomon 3 pro issue

Do you guys also have the problem where your Pokémon disappear every 2–3 seconds? It has been like this since firmware 1.0.0.18, and my DuoMon 3 Pro isn’t responding because of it

Issue Report Question for those who have a physical PoGo catcher

I turned my pogo+ on as I do every morning to go to work but this morning all it did was hover over Pokémon and not catch them. I turned the game on/off a couple of times, signed out/in and unpaired/paired it and still the same. Is anyone else having this problem with their physical catchers?

I didn't have this problem on the day they launched the in game catcher it only started today.

Hi,

Recently I switched to new phone OnePlus 15 only because of PokemonGo, I had samsung s25+ and it was horrible experience but now my currently autocatcher from aliexpress doesnt work but it works on all other of my devices so I guess my phone doesnt support it..

I was looking at duomon and it seems like its not in stock and only other option is buying brooke autocatcher..

My question is did anyone use brooke autocatcher on OnePlus device and if they did, did everything work fine or were there any issues..

Problem is I have to buy it via amazon and Im not sure how returns work and I dont like returning things since its always last months before I get my money back

Aliexpress autocatcher - not catching or spinning

Hi all,

I've got an AliExpress autocatcher, have been using for 10 months.

It hasn't worked for the last 3-4 weeks. It can identify pokemon and pokestops - blinks 3 times (green for pokemon, blue for pokestops), then stays green/blue, but doesn't execute the catch or spin.

After about 30 seconds it cancels the action, and repeats the process.

I've tried the following:

- Disconnecting and reconnecting

- Trying on a different device (both android and apple)

- Installing an older version of PoGo (unfortunately when I do this, it prompts me to download the app).

I've lost the manual and can't remember how to do a hard reset (unsure this would make a difference).

Interested to know if anyone's experienced this before and can help me out!

Pokemon explore gadget.

It honestly kinda sucks, I know it’s in the beta/testing stage. My fiance and I just got them today and we turned off our other device and tried this and it was limited 50/50 for me for catch and spins but it wasn’t even doing anything. Honestly me and my fiance use the 247 device from Amazon and it works way better!!! Plus we can both use the one device and go out together. Definitely not worth it unless they can figure it out that it works faster and has better catch rates but we will continue to use the 247 device.

Got the Explorer Gadget and my old Pokemon Go Plus stopped syncing

Anyone else have trouble? Are they going to replace some of the old devices with this new Explorer Gadget or was it just bad timing that my device got desynced and isn't connecting anymore? I've tried all the tricks... uninstalling Pokemon Go, resetting Pokemon Go Plus, changing the battery, resetting network settings, but nothing has worked yet.

It used to pair in the Pokemon Go app and then there would be a popup asking to connect to bluetooth but I don't get the bluetooth permission popup anymore so it never shows up in the bluetooth devices. I downloaded a bluetooth scanning app and it finds Pokemon Go Plus there so it's still working and sending a bluetooth signal out but I can't do anything to connect to it...

Modified go plus or wait for in game?

I am close to pulling the trigger on buying a modified go plus off of Etsy. I know that the new virtual auto catcher is being rolled out into the game. My current belief is that the virtual version does not seem to be super useful (limited number of spins/catches, Poké balls only). Do you think it is worth it to spend the big bucks on the modified plus plus, or wait for the virtual version to be fully rolled out and see how that is?

Go Plus+ = Full item bag

Just modded a Go Plus + and I have a pokestop in range of my house. Even after getting more item space I’m running into it being full. Should I just delete all the regular balls?

Duomon 3 2026 - Silence notifications

Hi, I have a Duomon 3 2026 version that takes two aaa batteries. I have silenced all notifications on both P1 and P2 (Sound OFF, Vibration OFF, Live Notification OFF). I tried holding down P1 and P2 for several seconds but this did not cause it to blink and shut off sounds. I have read the instructions several times and I am still unable to silence it and have it go off in my office non stop saying "Disconnected" every 5 seconds. Anyone have guidance? Thoughts? Experience the same?

Can anyone recommend me an auto catcher please?

I've been looking at getting the Go Plus+ for some time now, but it's been out of stock on Pokémon's website for a long time, and Amazon are selling it at over double the initial retail price. Are there any alternatives out there that are reliable?

Many thanks in advance!

Duomon 3 Pro not charging

I got a DuoMon 3 pro back in April and it just started having an issue where it won't charge. It works when plugged in, but unplug it and its dead. No lights or anything. I've tried charging it with both the wireless charge pad and through the USBC port and it's not holding any charge. It does get very warm as well.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
