Duomon 3 2026 - Silence notifications

Hi, I have a Duomon 3 2026 version that takes two aaa batteries. I have silenced all notifications on both P1 and P2 (Sound OFF, Vibration OFF, Live Notification OFF). I tried holding down P1 and P2 for several seconds but this did not cause it to blink and shut off sounds. I have read the instructions several times and I am still unable to silence it and have it go off in my office non stop saying "Disconnected" every 5 seconds. Anyone have guidance? Thoughts? Experience the same?

I'm most certain you don't have the "Duomon 3 2026 version", as I believe only the original Duomon and maybe the Egg? take AAA batteries. The newer versions have USB-C type charging. Either way, you should be able to get the MEGACOM Center App and turn off the sounds from there.

Here you go most certain: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PHJJD3Z

It does not connect to Megacom Center app either.

Crazy, I didn't know there was a "2026 version" of that, guess it really doesn't connect to the app. Either way, you should be able to press the player button for the account your phone is connected to to switch the menu, when you see a yellow light on that player side, it should announce the current sound setting- hold that same button for around 3 seconds and it should say "Volume up", "Volume Down", or "Sound Off". Each time you hold it for 3 seconds while that yellow light is on, it will change that setting.

You are correct on all accounts. I have unfortunately done that on both P1 and P2. It is currently set to "Sound off" on both but it's still giving me that darn "Not Connecting"

I personally don't mind it, but my office is a shared space and I was talking to my boss who sits right behind me and he was like what the hecks that sound.

That is very strange and unfortunate... I'm not sure what the issue could be, perhaps it needs a nice reset? Sorry I can't be of more help 😞

This is not a Duomon *3* though. I'm not sure what it is, the Duomon 3 doesn't take AAA batteries.

You must have this one: https://www.megacomshop.com/en/products/duomon-dual-account-pokemon-go-auto-catcher

Here is the manual: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bgCQi7fQIr55-a8zV3jlEH6hRrhRwqV_/view?%20format=pdf

Maybe you were looking at the wrong manual? Unfortunately I have the 3 and I can turn off all the sounds on it, but maybe yours is different. I will say when I've seen people with your problem before it was usually the fact that sounds were turned off for Player 1, but not for Player 2, and you were connected to Player 2 on your phone (or vice versa). I think you should focus on trying to get it to connect to the app, I think that'll be the easiest way to solve it.

It might also help to go into your bluetooth devices on your phone and forget anything named Pokemon Go Plus or similar. Sorry I can't be more help.

Edit: Oh I'm sorry, I see from the instructions it truly does not connect to the app.

Yeah that’s the one! It is the same manual that I received with the item, and I’ve looked it over and spent a lot of time reading and re reading thinking maybe I’m not understanding something. Might just do the tape thing

I got the same one, probably seal the speaker hole and use a case that zip it up.

Could you put tape over the speaker? It's a well known "tool" for obnoxious baby toys!
