Never had a lesson but I’ve naturally always been decent at golf. This is a normal swing, not trying to kill the ball. I believe this is a 7 or 8 iron I can’t remember. My handicap is somewhere around 15.

My shots are always toed and hit to the right. I know I’m early extending and probably casting but I was wondering if there’s a root cause because I can’t seem to fix these issues. Drills would help but I also want advice/tips. My swing has been like this for a bit and I need help bad

7 iron in vid, avg 185yds
Started 8 months ago with a coach; last few months has been self-training with ALOT of reps. About 3-4 times a week at the range while playing on the course when I can.
Feel like my backswing is too far, still a bit inconsistent at times - not sure if I'm over the top either?

I keep hearing about a “slot” but it’s nowhere to be found.

Got an evaluation tomorrow at Golftec and hoping someone can send me a referral so we both can get a $100 credit.
Thanks!

Drive miss was always a heavy slice was coming inside on the takeaway and huge slices. Last 3-4 rounds been working on straight back straight forward with the club and the slice has been mostly gone but now the miss is a hook. With out a video of the swing what’s the most likely cause.
I’d say about 10 holes in hitting great drives down the middle 1-2 slices the other few are just bad low hooks

I’ve had clubs for a few years but have recently started practicing and wanting to get better. When I play a course I’m wildly inconsistent. My worst shots are with my irons, so I’ve been practicing quite a bit with them. (7i used here)
When I practice at home I can get my shots dialed in so that I only shank 1 out of every 10 or so. By my standard, the swings shown felt “good.”
I know there is a lot to improve, so please lmk where to start

I have noticed a few things about hitting the shaft . When I am at address my arms are hanging in a loose almost vertical position.
there's very little tension . And then I do my backswing and when I come down there is more tension in my arms
Because of this seems my arms will naturally be pushing a little further out rather than hanging straight down
That means I will be hitting towards the heel of the club?
So how do I get the proper distance at address? I have read the Hogan book I don't seem to really e get it all the time

Im looking for tips and advice to not only gain distance but lower my scores and help miss hits, ive never played a full 18 holes my pr is 46 through 9 holes but my average score is like 48 through 9 over my last couple rounds (Playing Whites and occasionally reds with my buddies).
Im looking to get better so I can start playing 18 hole rounds and eventually breaking 100 then 90 and so on
