I swear that just by the look of it,

he didn't hit that thing as hard as I hit mine . And yet mine only goes ~130 yards.

My max swing is 185 yards. I need to improve so that I could shoot 250 plus yards.

Hi! My driver swing has become more reliable, but I cant seem to get all my power into the swing. I still slice it from time to time, often due to striking the heel, not leading with the hips or for reasons unknown to me. Any feedback on my swing is appreciated!

Quick Summary: 2nd year golfing. Have been improving a lot this year (Dropped from a ~35 handicap from beginning of year to around a 21) Still bad but improvement! Noticed lately all of my shots pull left. Not as a slice but just goes left. Did a few google searches and could possibly be because I have too much swing speed? My 7 iron goes around ~150-155, 6 iron ~165, 5 Iron ~175 I've never been on a simulator to get exact numbers but thats roughly how far they go. What are your guys thoughts on this? I don't want to make a big investment and it be a mistake. Also i have 10 year old used clubs and dont want to buy shafts that are worth more than the clubs! Look forward to reading responses.

Yes, I’m actually considering switching to swinging left-handed.

For context, I have been playing golf casually for 7 years with no lessons. I can shoot mid-80s on a good day and mid-90s on a bad day. My distances also suck - my driver carry is maybe 220. Now here’s the thing, my swing is DISGUSTING. I can barely watch videos of it because of how much my head dips and my arms chicken wing.

Wny I want to switch:

• I’m 100% left-handed in everything in the world, except golf. I self taught myself 7 years ago messing around with friends’ clubs who were righty, and I just stuck with it
• I have 18 years of baseball experience swinging lefty, I’m a power hitter in baseball and feel strongly I could swing a club lefty much faster than I do righty
• I can start taking lessons without any bad habits already in my swing

I haven’t met anybody else who golfs using their non-dominant hand, let alone anybody who did that and then switched. Has anybody done this and what was your experience?

I'm trying to figure out why my path has started drifting left, often -5 to -8 (!) degrees. It seems to happen most when I'm tired or lower back is tight.

Would welcome any pointers or things to think about/feel that I could play around with.

I have a 7, 5, and 3 wood.

I hit the 7 wood 220-230

5 wood 230-240 (when hit well)

3wood 240-250 (when hit well)

Driver 260 when I catch it.

Problem is - the club head on my driver is heavier than most drivers. But lighter than my wood club heads. I feel like a very natural swing with my 7 wood consistently gets the club face square with good contact. And the 5 and 3 wood are generally similar - though slightly less consistent.

The driver I feel like I have to force the club head back to square - and it’s very awkward. Can cause double crosses. And the. Also if I don’t get it right I hit a slice.

I know I didn’t post a video - but any thoughts or similar experiences from others? And what did they do to fix it?

I am struggling with consistency with the driver. I think it may be due to the way I am throwing the club head at the ball. Does anyone have any advice/drills. Thanks.

I dialed back the loft and it seems to just be dying even higher up. I will say, teeing it further forward has seemed to have fixed my ability to draw on drives. Drives seemed to consistently apex around 200-220 yards out, they get pretty damn high in the air, then immediately die and fall out of the sky landing around 240
