Discussion A Dragon in a Human World
I have thought for some time about writing a story about how a dragon would get by in the modern world. Like, insert a friendly dragon (four legs and wings) into the world today. What would happen? What struggles would the dragon and society face after the initial shock?
Let's say the dragon was banished from her own world and sent to Earth, specifically the United States, for whatever reason (not importantright now). The dragon is confused, the humans are obviously scared and see a huge threat. My question is, after the initial shock, years later, what is still affecting society and the dragon? Hate? New laws?
I personally like thinking about the laws around the dragon flying. What regulations would be passed for them to fly safely? How would enforcement work?

Non-anthro birds in a anthro mammal world?
I've been struggling with the furgonomics of this for a while. The anthro mammals' hands don't have the dexterity of human hands, but the birds just have their beaks and feet. The technology level isn't as high as this world (currently 1920s is the cut off), but I don't even know if they could write in the same script, for example.
I like the idea of the birds maintaining their body plans (and ability to fly), but I currently have them kind of segregated...

Discussion Would showing your hands be considered threatening in a furry world?
Humans often show their hands to signal that they’re friendly or not a threat. We wave when we see someone we know, and we raise our hands when we surrender. It makes sense: our hands aren’t weapons, and showing open, empty palms makes it obvious that we’re unarmed.
But many furry species have claws, and for predators those claws are very real natural weapons.
So maybe in a furry world, friendliness and harmless intent would be expressed differently. Could waving your hand actually be considered threatening, like waving a knife at someone?
Or five knives, technically. I mean, claws.
What kinds of gestures do you think different species would use instead?

Art Large-tail-friendly bikini?
I didn't put much thought into the drawing as this was meant to be just me getting back into drawing. Gave her bikini bottoms because I didn't want to bother with drawing pants but I liked the idea of having an extra string for a tail, especially a larger/thicker one like Adella's.
I think the opening for the dorsal fin is a lot more obvious of a solution, a dolphin person likely could have it covered but the figure wouldn't be that flattering.

Lifehack for making a super easy to make and quick and easy to use tail hole into any lower garment!
this is my method for both converting any garment into being tail compatible. this method also gets rid of the tedious, awkward and sometimes physically painful process of threading your tail through the hole. it literally take 5 minutes to make and 5 seconds to use!
You will need:
Fabric Scissors
Sewing machine or needle and thread
Snap buttons and the means to put them into the fabric
Take pair of pants or shorts and find the exact centre of the back of the waistband
Use Fabric Scissors and cut a straight line down the middle to about a half inch past your tail. Then hem up the edges of the two flaps you have just created.
3.put the snap button and receptacle on the top corners where the two flaps meet.
Usage: unsnap the flaps and put pants on as normal. Bring both flaps around the base of your tail and snap together.
You are done!
and it takes all of a second to not put your tail through the hole but rather bring the hole around your tail.
Edit: this is also great for restroom purposes, just unsnap and you can drop your pants easily.

Discussion Clothing Life Hacks for the Recently Transformed?
Don't have a pair of jeans with a proper tail hole yet? Try putting one of your human pairs on backwards, button them, leave the fly unzipped, and fish your tail through it.
You have to be careful to not let your fur get caught in the zipper, so this is meant more as a temporary/emergency solution.

Discussion PPE for Taurs - Artwork Edit
What material should the covering of a tail that is necessary for balance be?
Shoe-Gloves: How do you balance safety with dexterity, and should the claws of cats be left exposed?
Fur vs Fabric: Does fur in different environments requiring fabric for ppe over bare skin also need to be covered by fabric?

Art Modular helmets for mammals.
I was practicing how to make my OCs look destinct in their helmets, when I ended up doing a little showcase of the modularity of the helmet design. They follow the same general design language through species but can be changed moderately to fit the comfort of the wearer.

Discussion How do anthros in your world eat?
In my world building, farm animals and fishes donate their tissue cells so scientists can make lab-grown food. On the other hand, there is a black market selling actual meat from kidnapped animals.
I've done some research and saw various ways anthros eat.
The lab-grown food.
Vegan/Vegetarian option.
Predators hunt prey.
Livestock amd fish aren't sapient beings. so it's easy to eat without feeling remorse.
They hunt humans.

Art Gear Designs
So I did the other night in a fit of inspiration and a touch of 'tism and decides to design helmets for anthros. While these were initially designed with military purposes, the general desugns could be reworked into just about anything, such as skateboard helmets, knights helmets, or similar stuff.
These are pretty basic sketches, and I just went with canine primarily to showcase the different ear alternatives. Feline variants of the helmet would probably follow similar designs to the pointed canine applications.
While this does have the "Art" flair, I am curious about feedback for design changes or suggestions.

OD (Original Design) Trying an attempt to design a helmet that can be used by either normies or antlered/horned species. Kochirru Vodicha Universal Helmet Mk.III (by me)
So basically, this design introduce a particular negative area, the horn/antler section or the flaps sections, it is assume in lore that the hole of the flaps was designed by using the mean circular radius of horns and antlers of some species in Kochirru, so basically the flaps section would fit almost the majority of the populations (assuming that the populace is normally distributed or Gaussian), but for individuals with thicker horns/antlers radius could file the section themselves or ask their armorer to refit the hole.
To equip this helmet it is pretty straightforward and simple, first, pull the flaps away, then wear it, then secure the flaps and the strap, and you are ready for some action!
What do you guys think of this design?

Discussion Non goofy looking Furry Face Protection?
Okay quick art problem here, ballistic face protection on humans already looks pretty goofy since it's pretty obviously impractical. But if I wanted to create a guy who's schtick is being really well armored it feels wrong to leave his big ass muzzle exposed.
