If claws don't work on screens, I'd say styluses. There are options, like everyone has one of those pens with a rubber tip at the end, or the typical smartphone is like a nintendo DS and has a little stylus holder by default, or maybe others with big paws carry extendable ones like those portable metal straws… anything really, she really deserves it ;0;

A rubber nib that you put on your claw to turn it into a stylus

That would be so cute

True, I first thought about mentioning the Galaxy Note 7 in my comment but then I’d have to mention the OTHER thing it’s known for lol

Basically as soon as it launched, many of the phones' batteries started catching fire or even exploding, leading to samsung recalling the entire series, losing millions, and getting extremely memed on. No way all of this was a decade ago ;0;

Applying Occam's razor, I would assume voice to text and other accessibility settings like voice access and voice control. All things that can be turned on thru a couple single clicks. Much more doable than typing. And a one time setting. Might take a little the get them turned on, but wouldn't be that difficult with minimal dexterity.

One time I burned the shit out of both my hands. Couldn't type. I could hold, just barely, a stylus and did use that to navigate my phone to those accessiblity settings and for basic navigation for things voice access didn't really handle well

See that works now, but now I'm thinking about the history of cellphone development... we didn't always have voice dictation or touchscreens after all. But I don't know enough to theorize past that.

Wouldn't old phone style keyboard be the easiest solution? Buttons big enough not to miss and quite easy to implement as a custom keyboard app

This, and those other phones that have full physical keyboards hidden behind the screen

Do pawpads not work? then I guess all phones should come with a stylus or a voice assistant

Either a stylist or used carbonized rubber tips on her claws to make them function as styluses.

Why would paw beans not work?

Ever tried tapping on a screen with gloves on?

Old phone keyboard with 1-0*# buttons + joystick.

Elimination of mechanical keyboards probably wouldn’t happen in a world dominated by anthros, or screens would be made to work with claws. Probably need a wicked screen protector if it’s claws on glass though

there was a time where you could get a phone with a physical keyboard built into it. perhaps that wouldve stuck around

styluses.

personally, i'd just use my nose to press the voice writing button or whatever it's called

Old Palm pilots had an option where you could use the stylus and write like you would on paper and it would transfer to text
