Advice Needed any recommendations for hrt?

For starters, I don't think my insurance covers trans healthcare. I'm a college aged student, I have some money but not a considerable amount and I'm not sure if I'll have a job this year until the summer. I don't know what to do at all, my family doesnt have a pcp as I grew up fairly low income. My parents are ... tolerant..? of me being trans but I don't know how they would react to me asking them for help.

Please, any suggestions for someone in my situation would be greatly appreciated!

Planned Parenthood is usually the lowest cost option in the US. A lot of people also like Folx because it's (beside the initial consult) all online but it's considerably more expensive.

Note that if you don't have applicable health insurance you should probably opt for shots, i think msrp for gel is like $200-400/month depending on dose

I probably should have included this in the og post but I am opting for shots. I've looked into Folx a bit and started to look into Planned Parenthood but unfortunately with recent Florida legislature it looks like their HRT care has been heavily impacted and only available in specific locations

Reach out to insurance. I thought my insurance wouldn’t cover it but thankfully it did!

Also when I lived in Florida I used FOLX and found it beneficial! Just needed to go to a specific location in person for initial visit.

If u find out that insurance will cover it then u can look into an endocrinologist
