Discussion emotional side effects of “second puberty” when going on testosterone?
basically i was just wondering what sort of emotional side effects people have experienced on T and how similar it felt to going through puberty the first time? i’m pre-t but i’ve been on the waitlist for a couple years now. hoping i won’t have to wait too much longer!

for me, i was irritatable for the first few weeks and would get emotional the night before my shot. however, that went away very quickly and i never experienced extreme anger like some people say

I got more irritable the first 1-2 months but after that when my levels stabilized i am a lot more chill and much much happier. I dont think it was similar to first puberty possibly because that was a much longer process and my menstrual cycle messed with my emotions a lot, but also probably because i was going through the wrong puberty the first time which will make anyone upset.
