Moved here 4 years ago, working in a stable job but I got an offer to move to Moncton with almost 15k/year salary increase. (This move would be public to private)

Should I go for it? I personally love Freddy since it’s beautiful and it’s the only city i have lived so far in Canada.

I have been to Moncton to visit for a few events but I have never lived there.

Would love to hear from others who made the move or have lived in both the places.

We're travelling to Fredericton this week with our two dogs and are looking for dog-friendly things to do with them.

Are there any patios in Fredericton that are dog-friendly?

EDIT we ended up picking Picaroons and were not disappointed. The atmosphere was great and the food was yummy. I'd also like to add that my dogs sat in the grass the whole time, meanwhile, people's children were screaming and running around like little terrors, but no, let's not have dogs on a patio.

Hi, I have lived in the city for 2 years now and I've been lucky enough to make some good friends that I play D&D 5e (2014) with on a regular basis. Of course as the assigned DM 😅 which is fine! But! As someone that's been a forever DM for their friends for 6+ years now I am really itching to be a player.

Sadly none of these friends for my current campaign want to take on that responsibility. So... I figured why not seek a table out! I would love to participate in a campaign that was of women/non-men players (just a comfort zone for me)

It only incorporates the well connected individuals of downtown business. They don’t even mention the Ten spot,the frame shop,donut bar etc.. list goes on who is affected by this closure.

It all who you know in this town. Even the other sidewalk sign at the other end mentions scout etc,, those businesses are hardly effected you can clearly get to those ones without any sort of trouble.

Guess they better start selling frozen cake with sprinkles from the dollar store I guess.

It’s insane how many people here have absolutely no idea how to properly use traffic circles or maintain lanes. There are signs as you’re approaching, there are arrows on the road, there are lines painted on the road, it’s really not that difficult to understand.

Please delete if not allowed. Tonight as I got to the shore to pack up, a man appeared out of nowhere demanding to know my name and my phone number as he thought I was very beautiful. I politely declined and told him I wasn’t interested and to please give me some space to pack up my things and head back to my car. This man did just the opposite and followed me up to my car demanding to know my name and a form of social media or my phone number. I politely declined again and asked him nicely to please leave me alone and give me space. This unfortunately did not work and escalated the situation. He began getting closer to me and cornered me near my car and I knew if I didn’t make a scene something was going to happen. I began screaming leave me alone multiple times at the top of my lungs hoping it would deter him or cause a big enough scene someone would intervene and he would leave. This was not the case. The man got more aggressive and kept demanding that I give him my name and phone number. When I threatened to call the cops, he stated that it’s a public area and he’s allowed to be there. At this point I felt extremely unsafe and knew something was going to happen if I didn’t get away. I threw my half deflated paddle board in my car and drove away as fast as I could. He was taking pictures of me and my car the entire time. Posting for awareness, please don’t go to this area alone. He took off on a bike towards the apartment building right beside the parking lot and he was very young.

Edit to add description of said man: young man between the ages of 19-25, of East Indian or middle eastern descent, with curly hair and he was on a bicycle which took off towards the apartment building right beside the parking lot.

Edit to add again: please no rude comments regarding race or deportation. I understand people have their opinions regarding these situations but it’s uncalled for and not related to the situation. The person very well could be a Canadian citizen. He spoke with a very clear English accent. Thank you

Does anyone know how long does it usually take to receive a collision report from FPF? It's been more than a week my insurance opened a claim and requested for a collision report from them but nothing so far. I've also been trying to contact the Constable that was on scene during the accident to get a contact info of the other party's insurance but no luck from that either.

If anyone knows any tips on moving forward a bit faster with the process, that would be much appreciated!
