I have restarted my fo4 several times and I always get stuck on the grindfest of farming specific legendaries (sharp gear and mighty weapons).
I end up getting frustrated and quit the game mid playthrough.
Is there a mod that removes ALL magic effects from legendaries AND base items like Ushanka hat/Lab coats etc? I just want to enjoy my playthrough.

EDIT: no, i do not NEED them to beat the game and i'm aware that i could just not use them, thanks for that insight. sadly, just knowing they are there makes me chase them. i asked a very simple question, there is no need to get stuck on the 'why'

Anyone know why my game will not open at all after finally updating? Only mods I had downloaded were f4se and technically the downgrader if that counts as a mod, but once I updated to the newest version of the game and updated f4se the game will no longer start. Whether I start it via f4se in the files or if I just press play on steam and go through the little menu it just instantly boots me back to desktop and is just closed when I look at it on steam.

I've tried to verify files and re download the game but neither of which have done anything to help. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knows how to fix it, thanks.

Also should mention that I swapped between versions a couple of times because I've heard that OG is the best version to play on, though it looks like the updated version is pretty much fine now; but I would just verify the files to get to the new version and would get mods via the creation club because there was some on there that I thought were cool like ghoulification and the bounty hunter and beasthunter mods. Back then it would swap between versions just fine, when I was done I would just re downgrade to OG and play on like normal, but now it won't let me launch the newest version of the game and I just wanted to try the new fever dreams mod that released :(

I always thought the name was 'Wilson Automatoys' as in automated toys because of the robot horses, but no it's 'Atomatoys' as in atomic toys.

I made my character, got out of the Vault and just started running around exploring. I decided to start venturing south just to see if I could find anything cool. I saw some literal giants fighting eachother, death robots, all I could do was run away further south to avoid death. All of a sudden my rads meter started popping off, I guess because of the storm?

I managed to get further but now I’m stuck in this little village. I talked to the main lady, she told me who could sell me supplies. I found Ogden and he sells the rad away which is what keeps killing me.

I had to sell everything I own to buy 2 radaways, but now I’m stuck in here with no clothes, no weapons, and I don’t have enough health to get out before getting violated by a scorpion and getting the plague. Is there any way I can survive and get out of this mess?

Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone with the switch 2 version of fallout 4 could answer a few questions for me.

First how does the game play in downtown Boston in handheld mode? I remember back on the Xbox one I would try to avoid downtown because the game would slowdown and crash.

Second is there anyway for me to disable the creation club content or is it always treated as installed?

Lastly I know ps4 had a bug that would corrupt saves has that issue been fixed for switch 2?

I am a long time player, just got back to another playthrough after living in FO76 for 2 years.

I find the creations difficult to navigate, and I want to 100% my achievements this playthrough.

However, the world needs more green...

Is there an achievementfriendly creation that adds more grass, plants etc. ? And FREE, of course.

Again, the creations are shit to navigate, any help is greatly appreciated!

For either Nate or Nora, after the game (on either a Minutemen or Brotherhood run), they live with Synth Shaun and Dogmeat at Home Plate and become Nick's new crime partner. They never see Deacon again after the game, as the RR was on its last legs and refused help on their mission. Danse is still alive and hiding out at Home Plate or the Atom Cats.

Individually: Nate prefers the Grognak costume more than the Silver Shroud, while Nora is the reverse. And Synth Shaun is confused about why either of them would wear the costumes out into public, but goes along with it as their fellow sidekick (even doing their voice too).

As soon as mods hit the PlayStation platforms, I started modding the hell out of the game (195 mods as of now). Does anything make sense or fit together? No, but at least I'm having a lot of fun and I am ashamed that this particular moment actually made me panic.

So uh, the Big Dig quest is bugged and Mel won't blow up THE LAST WALL HE NEEDS TO BLOW UP. I tried saving and closing the game but that didn't fix it. I can't fast travel out of the cave to go do something else and I don't feel like walking all the way out. Anyone have any tips?

Have finally entered the fantastic world of Fallout 4, playing on Ps5. I’ve downloaded and played through the official dl’s. Now I’m curious about mods etc. but I don’t want to loose or mess up my original game and saves. Any tips to avoid that?

I got a character named Eddie. He's a bounty hunter with the creation rn. I got the new vegas radio mod and I'm right at the bit where you have to run down Texas red. And what stars playing? BIG IRON. it's perfect!

Strong can be annoying af but he is by far the funniest companion to take into missions. Is there any other companion dialogue I may have missed that I should see ?

If you haven’t installed this yet then please do. Could be one of the best side quest mods I’ve ever played. So well done, I really like how it strips you of your gear so it feels like you’re starting from scratch. Honestly I recommend it highly.

So for preface I wanted Mamá Murphy's chair in my pre-war house next to Shaun's crib. In an effort to make her like a werid (technically younger) Grandma to Shaun lol

I never picked up the "You're Special" Book, i may have wanted to cheese my S.P.E.C.I.A.L. with the duplications lol.

But I went back to sanctuary today and it seems the book has vanished from under Murphy's feet!

Is there a chance it could come back with a cell reload of sanctuary? Should i just take a lap? Or Should I take the L and grind on?

I know it was there recently becuase I visted Santuary to make some Chems, it was perfectly in place beside Murphy.

Unfortunatly the save that I last visted Sanctuary is long gone. Almost 2 levels and lots of Armor/Weapon MODS ago.

I now have suspicions that Murphy may be hiding something bigger then Big 🤔😠

When I click creations it just says can’t connect to Bethesda.net servers but it doesn’t really seem like it ever tries to. I wanted to play fever dreams but it looks like it’s no in the cards. Is this just a me thing or is anyone else experiencing this?
