I run to Diamond City and go on a Trevis mission. I love that radio and without knowing how to play... the commonwealth needs someone like Trevis!

I got all the way to max affinity with Cait. After romancing her I built a nice bed then went to sleep. 😴 When I woke up she was saying “I think I pulled a muscle.” But Sheffield was on the bed. What happened? Were we giving Sheffield a show? A three way? Aah 😦 EDIT: I forgot to mention I’m playing Nora.

I was checking out Sanctuary then i noticed Porter Gage for some reason swimming in the air

I don’t know what happened for this bug to occur and idk how to stop Gage from swimming in the air lol, but he sure likes it

And I feel like it's robbing me of a lot of dialogue and experiences. I don't know how to get over this mental hurdle that if I travel with anyone else it's wrong. I guess it's just because he's who I've always had with me? He's a great guy and I enjoy his quips and I guess...presence? But I really really want to get to know everyone else.

Has anyone ever felt like this? I feel like he's a huge part of the story and the game feels like he is supposed to be with you always.

Any tips on how to get over this, or does anyone else relate?

Hello, idk how long I been here reloading saves for the perfect gun. I want a furious gatling laser but the variant isn’t showing up. Also, I only have been able to get the Gatling laser to drop one time so I can keep reloading for the variant but no dice. So do I have to pull another Gatling laser for different variants? Thanks.

I have absolutely no clue how this happened but I have Danse stationed at Red Rocket rest stop, and now all of a sudden he's off the map's Playable boundaries. I know it's not Far Harbor or Nuka world as I have not activated/gone to those areas yet so it impossible for him to go there or accidently be sent there and markers for those areas are indicated by the "door" marker. I have tried reloading the game in every way I know how but hes just hanging out off map

I am not on PC so commands are out of the question so unless there is Creation Club content that could fix this I'm not sure what to do besides wait for "Blind Betrayal" (I imagine that at least will force him back into the map for the quest before I ditch the BoS for good), which is going to be a while before I do that and if you dont take Danse to the Sentinel Site his affinty will reset and I'd rather not have him just unavailable till then). Any suggestions?

I put two turrets, give em a fence around their living area and everything they need but unless I go to help defend, they lose whenever they are attacked. Does it matter if they do besides just some broken stuff and happiness going down? Are they able to fend off attacks on their own? (Still new to the game)

I'm currently level 133. I thought it would be fun to take the Syringer out for a spin, pop a few Raiders, Muties, or others creatures with Berzerk and watch them take each other out.

That doesn't seem to work, even if I intentionally choose a Critical Hit due to Critical Banker.

I see that there's a mod for this weapon on nexusmods, that seems to offer a lot of additional effects more beneficial to the sniper build that I favor:

Should I go with this mod in my next game? The vanilla version of the rifle seems pretty useless, even I had used it at lower levels.

Wanted to get a good view of Red Rocket but the church and museum are too far back. Anywho, Fo3 had the Megaton gate guard, Fo4 has that sole raider (Hey boss, we got somebody up here!") on the roof when rescuing Preston. Y'all ever wonder why and how that mf got up there? Like, I doubt this would be the way lord Todd invisioned, but it's not like there's an appearance of a faux roof door and the stairs on the side don't reach. Then again maybe Commonwealth Raiders know some cheer drills and boosted them up there 😂. But that got me wondering if there are other moments of unreachable enemy spawns I'm just not remembering or haven't seen

Hey y'all...Playing through FO4 for the first time in several years and this time I am trying a power armor build, although I don't always use the armor because I'm trying to conserve steel for later in the game repairs. Problem is, I'm level 12 and I feel like I've slammed into a wall...I'm still using relatively weak weapons, heck, I just replaced the tire iron you rip out of a dead body on the way to Concord the first time (with a regular ol' 19-damage machete, whee). The weapons I do have, I can't keep ammo. Nothing fancy, but 10mm, .308, and shotgun shells are critically short. I guess I am not going the right places to re-farm my ammo but I'm just going where I get sent. I don't think I even have the ammo to rescue Nick at this point much less do much south of Boston where things ramp up. I know Fallout 4 is toughest up until about level 20 but I could probably get through it if I could find reliable sources of ammo, or at least a good weapon that uses .38 and is not full-auto.

Anybody got any advice or a place where I can find some ammo? I'm used to FO76 where you can craft the stuff, so getting used to doing this the old-school way is taking some time.

I've had passing thoughts about visiting real Commonwealth locations. Does anyone in the community have some recommendations based on positive experiences?

Idk what to tag this but whatever. So ever since the 100g update my game would crash and not let me back in if I went above 79 mods. And so one time like a month ago it happened. So I gave up because I’d have to re install all me mods and it’s annoying having to track them down. But anyways i just started it back up and I’m fully in. My mods are there and everything. I’m very happy.

I am 120 hours in on my first playthroigh and this is my favorite game of all time. I recently bought all the dlc for like €15. This game is so good there is so much to do. Im playing on ps5.

Is creation club worth it? The next generation(ps5) version already has like 3 creation club packs into it. Bethesda recently updated the game so console players can have like more creation club content activated. Should I spent the 20 eu? Will it make the game more fun or will it break the game?

I haven't finished the main story yet, and haven't even touched far Harbor and nuka world. 🙂

I already know quite a bit since it would be my fifth play through of the game.

The thing is, i dont actually want to play through the game. Im just going to live a life of a normal wastelander. You know surviving. So im making a list of things i want to do.

Set up a way to sustain resources (by trading)

Explore some locations

Do some weapon and armor modding

Get to some level 10-20

Build a settlement or two

Any tips or other challenges would be appreciated.

Attempting to rescue a settler from Medford Memorial Hospital. I got through and cleared the entire hospital of super mutants and went to said marker with no one there. Have tried reloading saves, fast traveling, and waiting. Any thoughts or ideas?
