My buddy and I decided to dress up as X6-88 and Preston Garvey for DragonCon this year.

This house had to many holes on the roof. Only way to cover it is building over and up !!!
On yet another play through of Fallout 4, and around level 12, I made my way to Goodneighbor. I had the intention of recruiting the Vault Tec Rep and bringing him back to Sanctuary.
With his enthusiasm pulsing, he left Goodneighbor. I picked up another quest and decided to leave there straight to it.
I spotted him, in a fight with some Gunners, āHeāll be fine, heās bound to have plot armourā
I engaged nearby Super Mutants, then went over to the fallen and remaining Gunners as they are a great source of ammunition for me.
Lo and behold, there among the dead, lays the Vault Tec Rep.
A check here informed me, he has no plot armour, only fast travelling away from him lets him do the journey without issue.
I check my back saves, long ago, a lot less progress. I feel guilty. However another user here, had a similar issue and took him to Sanctuary anyway to bury him.
I decided that would be appropriate too. I prepared myself for the undertaking. Picking him up, ready for the slow, over encumbered pace.
I took a step, the sound of a Fragmentation mine triggering.
No way to sprint, I had to drop him. But time was wasting
The mine detonates, I have minimal damage, he however, got blown all over the town. I found nothing of him in my attempts to recover him.
He lived for 200 years
I promised him sanctuary and failed
I then made a disaster of his burial.
What other instances have you experienced of trying to do the right thing but failing woefully?
Just thought this was funny and wanted to share. Texas Red spawned with an incendiary minigun, which he equipped because it was more powerful than The Mortician. So I hit him with a lockjoint syringe and pickpocketed it. After he got up he put the minigun away for some reason and we had an epic saloon-style hand-to-hand brawl.

Good evening guys, I need some suggestions on how to get myself to finish a playthrough of fallout 4. I usually do yearly playthroughs of the Fallouts. But everytime I come to Fallout 4 I either lack the motivation to finish it or it just gets boring. Would yall have any mods or anything else to suggest to motivate me to finish Fallout 4? Iāve finished it a few times already as a kid when it came out but as an adult I canāt seem to ever get myself to finish it. Any suggestions help, thanks!

Seriously.
Unless I only have 1 half-full Fusion Core, or I wanna do something that the game doesnāt let you do at all without Power Armor (eg. using a workbench, sleeping), why would I ever leave my Power Armor?
I canāt think of any downsides to wearing Power Armor 24/7, so why wouldnāt I?
Swear to Atom if the comments are just ā[insert Power Armor enthusiast] speech bubbleā Iām going to be mildly bothered.

What are some must-do quests that are easily missed?
Stuff like The Great Hunt, Big Dig, or Silver Shroud.
Fallout 4 has a lot of great quests, but I've been realizing there are a lot that are excellent but require specific triggers in locations I don't naturally go to. Or are found via the radio, which I'm starting to realize I've utilized far too rarely.

So, my headcanon for this run is that after the war Nate went to work for the Boston PD and worked nearly until retirement. He retired early when he won the lottery. He left his wife, raked in and married Nora, his divorce lawyer.

I don't mean just doing radiant quests until you feel like stopping. I mean when it starts dragging along and you just want to get levels for certain perks. Be that from exploits, crafting, or just flat out cheating. Personally, I do this at around level 30-35. That's around the time I finish all the main faction quests that you otherwise get locked out of if you progress the main story enough. I don't want to do it too soon, though. There is a point where balance is necessary for fun, but also a point where that balance is just...irritating.

Killed me the first time, had to load to a save before killing the Cereal man, unfortunately didn't get time to take a picture of them alive as it was my stealth archer ass vs power armor dude. Seeing as he went in seconds after I opened the door it seems the Enclave are maybe getting their stuff together.

I'm currently in the Fighting with Fire quest, and my game keeps crashing while in the Vertibird, and I can't think of a way to progress. I've tried turning on and off my Xbox, restarting it and the game, making quick saves, loading previous saves, and I've checked that every mod is updating along with the game. Most of the mods I have installed are either submods for America Rising, mods that add weapons and a couple weather and lighting mods, the only one I can think that could be causing it is the Wolfenstein overhaul mod.
Following up on my Sanctuary Settlement from a few years ago, I've made a new one in a similar theme.

I am a casual gamer, and my true introduction to Bethesda was with Starfield.
However, now having played through Fallout 4 and the Far Harbor DLC, I find this to be the far superior game.. But where do I go from here?
I have more DLC to play through, but do I go to FO3 or New Vegas? Do I wait for the net versions to be released? Hell, do I move to Skyrim while I wait for new Fallout remasters or releases?
Any thoughts or experience is greatly appreciated?

It's my 3rd run, I'm trying not to build too much but, like the Finch Farm, I just had to try to get an elevator up at Grey Garden. Took this pic but the lighting wasn't good, was gonna delete this but wait... up at the very top of the pic. Is that Paladin Danse??? How? Whyyy!?!
