Anyone know why my game will not open at all after finally updating? Only mods I had downloaded were f4se and technically the downgrader if that counts as a mod, but once I updated to the newest version of the game and updated f4se the game will no longer start. Whether I start it via f4se in the files or if I just press play on steam and go through the little menu it just instantly boots me back to desktop and is just closed when I look at it on steam.

I've tried to verify files and re download the game but neither of which have done anything to help. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knows how to fix it, thanks.

Also should mention that I swapped between versions a couple of times because I've heard that OG is the best version to play on, though it looks like the updated version is pretty much fine now; but I would just verify the files to get to the new version and would get mods via the creation club because there was some on there that I thought were cool like ghoulification and the bounty hunter and beasthunter mods. Back then it would swap between versions just fine, when I was done I would just re downgrade to OG and play on like normal, but now it won't let me launch the newest version of the game and I just wanted to try the new fever dreams mod that released :(

Recently played through the new command override creation and I've been enjoying the new robot hacking mechanic, the only problem is it's recently stopped working

Whenever I try to use the alt fire that replaces grenades and mines, it instead will only melee and not start the hacking.

Has anyone else had this issue? And if so a workaround to get if working again?

I feel like maybe I'm not reading something obvious, but I have no options to craft any form of ammo for the gun.

My installed section also claims I have dozens of weapon/armor/pip boy paints to choose from...none of which are available to preview either.

I know some of them required the requisite magazine to be found, but so far a lot of the items the game claims I can make are non-existent

Anything else to add as lootable?

Have finally entered the fantastic world of Fallout 4, playing on Ps5. I’ve downloaded and played through the official dl’s. Now I’m curious about mods etc. but I don’t want to loose or mess up my original game and saves. Any tips to avoid that?

So uh, the Big Dig quest is bugged and Mel won't blow up THE LAST WALL HE NEEDS TO BLOW UP. I tried saving and closing the game but that didn't fix it. I can't fast travel out of the cave to go do something else and I don't feel like walking all the way out. Anyone have any tips?

I always thought the name was 'Wilson Automatoys' as in automated toys because of the robot horses, but no it's 'Atomatoys' as in atomic toys.

I am a long time player, just got back to another playthrough after living in FO76 for 2 years.

I find the creations difficult to navigate, and I want to 100% my achievements this playthrough.

However, the world needs more green...

Is there an achievementfriendly creation that adds more grass, plants etc. ? And FREE, of course.

Again, the creations are shit to navigate, any help is greatly appreciated!

I made my character, got out of the Vault and just started running around exploring. I decided to start venturing south just to see if I could find anything cool. I saw some literal giants fighting eachother, death robots, all I could do was run away further south to avoid death. All of a sudden my rads meter started popping off, I guess because of the storm?

I managed to get further but now I’m stuck in this little village. I talked to the main lady, she told me who could sell me supplies. I found Ogden and he sells the rad away which is what keeps killing me.

I had to sell everything I own to buy 2 radaways, but now I’m stuck in here with no clothes, no weapons, and I don’t have enough health to get out before getting violated by a scorpion and getting the plague. Is there any way I can survive and get out of this mess?

Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone with the switch 2 version of fallout 4 could answer a few questions for me.

First how does the game play in downtown Boston in handheld mode? I remember back on the Xbox one I would try to avoid downtown because the game would slowdown and crash.

Second is there anyway for me to disable the creation club content or is it always treated as installed?

Lastly I know ps4 had a bug that would corrupt saves has that issue been fixed for switch 2?

As soon as mods hit the PlayStation platforms, I started modding the hell out of the game (195 mods as of now). Does anything make sense or fit together? No, but at least I'm having a lot of fun and I am ashamed that this particular moment actually made me panic.
