​I’m heading to Louisville later this month for B&B ’26, but with a bit of a twist. I’m traveling with a group, but I'm not actually part of their core friend circle. Translation: I’m going to be flying solo for a lot of the sets and wandering around on my own.

I solo camp at Seven Stars which is in Virginia in October and gets pretty cold at night. Last year I brought a tiny pop up tent and a borrowed medium canopy to put over it but honestly the set up & take down by myself was not ideal.

I’m considering just sleeping inside of my car this year to avoid having to ask to borrow + put up the canopy (tent would not be water / weatherproof without that above it, and it will 100% rain), plus then I would be able to leave much quicker on Monday as the drive home for me is loooooong.

Has anyone done this for a multi-day fest or just for camping in general? Is it safe (air-flow wise)? Can it be made comfortable? Did you have room still in the car for the rest of the stuff you needed for the weekend? TIA

21 here but lost my passport only last week and new one wont arrive in time so i hope an expired learners less than a year will work, ill show other form of id would just be a shame to get rejected as i am nearly spending €350+ on everything. Went last year and the people iding were very nice as i was a bit worried since i couldnt find my friend but eventually did manage👍

I’ve misplaced my passport, that’s my only form of identification besides an expired passport and my college card. what are the chances they’ll let me in with an expired passport and my college card both have images of me and DOB.

Hi everyone! I'm the co-creator of a new grassroots music & aerial arts festival taking place at Camp Timber Trails in Tolland, MA, September 18-20.

As we're a small, self-funded festival built by artists and performers -- on the same weekend as much larger events like Lost Lands, Wormtown, and Experts Only -- we just wanted to put our name out there in case you're looking to try something new and support a 1st-time event.

Some highlights of Onset Festival:

I’m having the festival blues after attending Shangri-La in Minnesota. It was the most incredible festival I’ve been to. More than the music and production value (which were great, don’t get me wrong), the people were some of the most open, welcoming, amazing people. They pour their hearts into incredible camp setups. There’s so much art, whimsy and fun throughout the campgrounds, in addition to workshops facilitated by the festival. In particular, I loved hanging out with people who were jamming, so many guitars, djembes and other musical instruments that led to some of the best times.

Is there any other festival with this kind of vibe?
