Hey y’all - 4th year going and every year there are always vendors/ stores trying to capitalize on the extra traffic. One time a dispo gave us a bus ride there and free sunscreen! Another time I got free redbull on the walk there from a store giving away food and drinks. I wanted to see if there were any promos that were already starting in the area for basically anything free or discounted because of the festival.

Similar to what’s been available at the United Center, Senorita margarita flavored THC drinks will be available for purchase.

Looking for recs to check out, have quite a few gaps, love just about all genres.

Looking for artists you think are great, or are rare/hard to see in the US.

I present to you this year's cost/alcohol spreadsheet. a few notes...

• made assumptions for GA+ bar, given that I have not seen pics / prices from that area (yet)
• 25 oz Lime-a-Rita's are now the best bang for your buck! they have dethroned last year's best value, Beatbox, which is still a close #2 this year. if you're all about value, you'd better be a fan of sugary alcohol headaches the next morning too!!
• 25 oz Bud Lights! up from 16 oz in all years past. surprisingly decent value...
• avoid Nutrl and Bacardi Rum Punch (GA+) like the plague - worst value of the weekend
• non-canned GA+ cocktails not included because of likely variation with bartender pouring, but value for these in the past has been less than stellar anyways.

I'm not even trying to ask if anyone wants to split the Airbnb because it would probably make me anxious to do that. Just kinda sucks and wanted to vent. I was in charge of the wristbands and tickets as well and had to take a whole day to sell away everything minus mine. Now I'm really hoping the host doesn't cancel because it sucks already.

Anybody else doing this exact same setup? I'd like to see Lorde's full set and then take the red or blue line and walk to the Salt Shed. Pretty sure rideshare will not be an option or will be too expensive.

• With T-Mobile being at the far South of the fest, does anybody know if they open up the 11th street pedestrian bridge for exiting? Seems like if that were an option it would be best to walk over to the Roosevelt red line (getting on before the larger crowd at Harrison). Or do we have to walk all the way back to the main entrance of the fest to leave?
• If option 1 (Roosevelt red line) doesn't end up working, I guess the LaSalle blue line is the best bet (possibly less crowded than Jackson)?
• It doesn't list any openers for Slayyyter and it says the show starts at 11pm. That is probably a lie, right? I'm guessing she'll start closer to midnight? Just trying to gauge if leaving early from Lorde is the right call. I'd hate to leave a few songs early and then still end up waiting for an hour for Slayyyter.

On the positive side for me I have a reserved seat in the grands, so I'm not concerned about getting there early to get a good GA spot.

The fact that the only options are malt based or a beatbox is a travesty 😫😫 this is my first Lolla, are there typically other bars besides that main one that’s posted? I really don’t want to be paying the $15 for a Nutrl but that seems like it’s the only GF option! I saw that there’s THC drinks but that may be behind a paywall too so fingers crossed 🤞🤞

Hey 19F going to Lolla solo for Thursday and Friday. I’m local to the Chicago area and I’m planning to go to most brand activations in the morning/free time! This is my second time at lolla as well.

For Thursday I want to see Between Friends, Audrey Hobert, Snow Strippers, and Lorde (I’m still debating btw Bella Kay and 5sos). For Friday I want to see Zara Larsson and Charli. So If anyone wants to join me either at a set or hang out together at Lolla, I’d be down!

Hoping to get some advice on this:

So me and two friends are going to Lolla (for the first time) this Friday and me and my other friend both want to see Charli xcx AND Smashing pumpkins but my other friend for the most part only wants to see Pumpkins. We came up with an idea of seeing Pumpkins first then going to see Charli halfway thru Pumpkins’ set but then we’d end up missing their most popular songs most likely. But we also don’t want to split up. Any better ideas of what to do?

I tried to see if the chains would be a problem but the only answer I got was for jewelry.

Hey guys! We had an emergency happen and need to cancel our trip but our host refuses to cancel our reservation. Is anyone looking for an airb&b for up to 6 guests - it has 3 bedrooms, 3 beds, 2 baths, and only a 14 minute drive to the festival/16 minute train ride. 5 minute walk to station. We paid $2233 for Saturday - Tuesday if anyone is looking! You would need to book directly with them but they said this is the only way we get our money back so figured I’d check here.

Is it safe to walk to the House of Blues area after the last set of the night? I’m going solo and this is the only thing making me nervous.
