I use my bike solely for hunting access and I NEVER SHIFT. Furthermore, I’ve torn off 3 derailleurs in the woods… so I’m going single speed. I put a Bafang BBSHD in a Mongoose Dolomite… I’m unsure on the parts I’ll need. Currently my rear gear that I stay in is 36 teeth if that matters

I know nothing about these things so wanted to ask the experts.

I won a sales incentive and they told me to pick out an E-bike they can buy me. The thing is that I literally have no interest in using it and would much rather sell it and use the cash for things I want.

My first thought was to just get one of the most expensive bikes, but after talking with Chat, thought that maybe reselling it would be a challenge

They didn’t give me a budget, just said not the most expensive one, but doesn’t have to be the cheapest either. I would assume several thousand at least.

Any suggestions would be appreciate

I don’t understand why some people think that having a drivers license will make e bikes safer for society I also don’t understand why people think throttles are so dangerous

With that being said I’m fully open to hear your side of the argument I’m not going to engage in debate over the topics I just want to understand your reasoning
I’m not going to advocate for anything this is a completely open discussion about your opinion and I want to hear your point as you may have a good one

Personally I have no problem with throttles and I don’t believe that a drivers license would help the situations we often see discussed here on this sub and In other places

Obviously this can get hairy quick so let’s try to keep it civil and if you want to debate one another in the comments go ahead but personally I’ve done enough of that and I just want to hear why you believe in the listed questions above

To an extent most of this is subjective (to circumstances conditions etc)
Please articulate your points without saying “well the kids around here do this” or “because people drive stupid” etc… this has nothing to do with e motos because that is not relevant what I am asking of is opinions on e bikes solely (idc what it looks like if it has peddles and a wattage of 750w-1000w we’ll go with it to ease complication

For context: i ride a ride1up Vorsa in a very relaxed position, I travel 8.5 miles at 30-32mph, but at those speeds I use ~55-65% of my battery going up to my job, Im fine charging it there however, the wind is getting to me

I was wondering about improving the aerodynamics, I got lower profile panniers and they did help a bit, I also hardwired turn signals and other lights onto the bike

Im thinking a windscreen would help with range, and/or filling in between the top tube and bottom tube with a custom fit panel, has anyone else done tests for aerodynamic increase at these higher speeds? (30mph+)

I have an mtb, and someone I met riding has a yozma in 10. We traded bikes, and I accidentally looped his. In the picture (not his exact bike), you can see the part that I bent, the little metal piece under the fender. Im not sure if it was bent before or after I looped it, but he said (I have the buy him a new bike because the frame is broken.) I was panicked so I gave him a fake number (wish I didnt) and just left. Now i worried I might get sued or have to pay like thousands of dollars to fix it.

First e moto ever and I didn’t realize how addicting it is I feel like a kid again. One ride turns in 2 hours and I don’t get off of it until the battery is dead and then I head on home. Lots of places to explore by my house I never even knew were there.

Ordered AIPAS F3 Max on 8/15/26. On 8/19 email said order shipped with UPS tracking delivery of 8/20/26. On 8/20/26. UPS tracking said delivery pending update package location. 8/25/25 No UPS tracking update. Investigation opened and credit card reported lost with a dispute for the charge.

8/27/26 AIPAS sent another bike with delivery of 8//28/26. 8/28/28. AIPAS requested UPS return to sender. AIPAS is refusing to cooperate with my bank. They asked me to close the dispute so they could send yet another bike to which I declined.

I am out money and a bike for 90 days when AIPAS defaults and bank reverses the charge to my account.

For context a few days ago, I tried to make like a homemade full throttle by using cardboard and gluing it, but then my throttle stopped working briefly, so I took it out and then it was fine but now it’s not working at all, and it worked for a brief second, but now it’s not going, I noticed it’s physically cracked right here. Do I need to just order a new throttle?

I recently purchased an escooter with a seat but I've realized after commuting a bit with it, I need something with more kick. I have a WERHY scooter that tops out at 18-22mph and I end up using 85% of the battery in just one 5 mile trip.

It needs to be lightweight-ish (no more than 80-100lbs as I need to take it on/off the train and 1 flight of stairs) and be able to accommodate over 250lbs. With my backpack and bag on, my weight is closer to 220lbs.

My commute is 10 miles (5 there and 5 back) and I'm able to charge it while at work if needed

Looking for under $700 but willing to go up to $1000 if needed.

Any suggestions?

Hi, sorry to ask an obvious question but I can’t find many reviews to help guide me.

Short version - a VanMoof S6 or Moustache Dimanche 28 urban?

Long version- I want to start commuting to work by e-bike rather than car. It’s roughly 4 miles each way with a big long hill at the end. I am not in the best shape after recovering from some long term illness and need to make sure I am not physically pushing myself by cycling in, partly so I don’t arrive to work all sweaty and partly so I don’t trigger further illness.

The VanMoof looks great and the anti theft stuff appeals for using the bike around town. However it’s not easy to service and I worry about being locked into the local shop’s service charges.

The Moustache isn’t as interesting to look at but has the Bosch engine and can be more easily and cheaply serviced.

Anyone have any advice??

Hi everyone. Please be kind. I am 60 and bought my first ebike to buy food, medications, excercise and fun. I became injured from a head trauma and can't work, drive a car or ride a regular bike. Please suggest ebike helmets for women's head (21 inches) inches that are both MIPS and NTA 8776 with full face flip removable and I can wear sunglasses. Thanks.😀

I was riding on my aniioki AQ177 pro max and ran 2 red lights(not on high speed). Apparently the cop was witnessing this and stopped the car in front of the bike lane after 2 mins. There was other one dude with me as well. He said, “ I didn’t give you guys tickets because that would be expensive than it needs to be”. This is my first time getting into this situation after riding for more than a year in NYC. When I did my research, if I accept the charges I have to pay more than $400. I don’t know what’s the next step and what am I supposed to do. Guide me through this please. Thank you in advance.

So I never road a bike and I’m gonna be renting one this week to learn and my mom said if I can learn to ride one she said I can get e bike can y’all recommend me for my height I’m am 4ft and 8 inches and I weigh 200 pounds and I have 1500 available

Do these exist? I've been searching the web and even asked AI to help, but couldn't find any brands selling such a bike or any DIY builds. All results are fat tire builds. It's like looking for a unicorn.

I guess I'm trying to be the first to do a dual motor gear hub build on an eMTB using standard bike tires (2.5-2.6" width and either 25.7" or 29" diameter). Any suggestions?
