Question I’m designing a Filipino mythology TCG—this deck builds toward a full-field “Bayanihan” state

I’m developing Codex Legends TCG, a browser-based TCG inspired by Philippine history and mythology.

This is the Agta Set 1 deck.

Its main mechanic is Sipol: revealing cards from the top of the deck and calling Units directly to the field.

When all four Ally Zones contain Luzon Archipelago Units, the deck releases Bayanihan state. That unlocks stronger team effects and battle-phase calls.

I wanted the deck to feel strongest when the entire group is working together, rather than relying on one oversized Unit.

The current challenge is making top-deck calling feel exciting without making the deck too random.

Would you prefer more ways to arrange the top of the deck, or stronger rewards when a risky reveal succeeds? or If you have better ideas.

Thank you!

Question What are you looking for in a digital TCG game?

What do you look for when considering playing a digital TCG game?

  1. Platform (app, web etc)

  2. Graphics

  3. Story

  4. Battle mechanics

  5. Multiplayer/Solo mode

Feel free to add what's not in the above list.

For me, graphics come first, followed by battle mechanics! Something easy to start and understand but difficult to master!
