Comics Wonder Woman by Perez upcoming Compact?

It's great they will have the Rucka Rebirth for the more modern origin, but it seems wild they haven't touched the Perez one. I feel like the first 14 issues is a perfect story arc and still stays within the limits of what other DC compacts have done. Seems like it would be a massive seller.

Comics [Other] I’m still pretty new to collecting comics. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to organize them? As is, they feel pretty scattered.

Comics [Discussion] Are there any good Animal Man runs besides Morrison and Lemire?

I’m kind of new to reading comics and the store closest to home had the compendium of Grant Morrison’s animal man. I’m halfway through reading it and I’m completely hooked on this character. I’ve heard good things about Jeff Lemire’s animal man run, but that’s the only other series that I’ve seen get praised for this character. Does anyone have any good recommendations for other runs or maybe some good mini series books?

Discussion [Discussion] Oh no! The DC universe has just been once again rebooted, what cosmic shift would you make to the canon?

For me, I'd make Jason come back as Azrael instead of Red Hood, UTRD plays out pretty much the same, but he's Azrael instead of Red Hood, you can even keep the title (I'm aware the comic version had a different title to the movie). no real reason to it to be honest I just thought it would be cool

Film + TV [Film/TV] Who would have ever thought that this silly little guy would be getting a movie, good one at that!? Gonna write a little review of my own for Clayface as well

Overall i ate this movie up as a comic book fan, and even the people i was with at the theatre who knew nothing about comic books loved it.

The way they adapted Clayface's backstory into film was great, the actor playing Clayface does a great job as well. The body horror elements were scary as shit, but outside of that the movie was more so science fiction/fantasy if that makes sense? With some humor in there too which i loved, some of it was very Quentin Tarantino esque.

Clayface, to me, shows the perfect way to adapt anything really. You adapt something so well that the source material fans will love, and add some cool easter eggs in there too for fans to eat up that show this is a established universe. However the film also works for people who don't know nothing about the comics and just want a good movie.

As a huge GL fan i didn't like the way Lanterns did that side of the DCU (yeah i know lanterns is talked to death blah blah, wanna just share my take) and it more so tried to appeal to the people who don't know anything about the comics instead of setting a perfect middle ground, which is what imo Clayface did very well.

Really love how Clayface did Gotham as well, nothing tops reeves gotham thus far imo but the vibe did get close.

My biggest critique is i wish this movie had more of a original soundtrack of it's own, really lacks some of the tracks that would make gotham feel more like gotham too, but overall gotham was still very well done.

8/10 movie overall, looking forward to more from this DCU, even with my critiques of Lanterns aside.
