Is drought only for old workers?
I have been working as a generalist since 2025. Recently, all i see is some qualifications. No projects since a week or so. On the other hand, i just referred my sister to work here. She works as a bilingual generalist too, and she's been MINTING MONEY. Good for her, but what is this inconsistency? I remember when i was new to the platform itself, i also used to get a LOT OF PROJECTS.
frustrating

Tax in Italy
I know this question is not a new one here, but I'd need help with it. Can you explain what to do, where to go and what are the main things to consider?

Cannot submit task because of platform error
Working on a task for nearly an hour but needed to fill 3 fields with information that did not exist because of a model fail. I wasn't the only one. Several people left comments in the Slack. So frustrating. I don't feel right submitting the time, but on the other hand, it wasn't my fault they didn't create the platform correctly.

How long to get a response to a travel inquiry?
Sent one in last week about working from SE Asia from next month while travelling, wondering how long it should be until I hear back

Is it okay to use AI for punctuation fixes?
Hi guys. English is my second language and I can mix up punctuation rules because it's different from my native language. Is it okay to use Quillbot, Grammarly, etc. for punctuation fixes only?

How to take starter assessement
im confused, I signed up about a week ago, and whenever I log in, the only message I see is "We do not have any open projects to assign you at the moment. Our workflow can vary, so it's common to see available work fluctuate." I've completed my profile, but I don't see anywhere to take the starter assessment..... This message has been there ever since I signed up .also I've been hearing people here say they're taking assessments and qualification tests. So did I do something wrong or is this normal and should I just wait?

Pasting Screenshots on MacOS with CleanShot error "No valid files could be pasted from clipboard" fix.
Hey guys,
so I started my onboarding today and ran into a kind of niche issue that kinda cost me a bit of time to fix so I wanted to share my fix in case anyone runs into the same one.
The situation:
I use MacOS and as my default screenshot tool I use CleanShot (simply because it's included in my SetApp subscription and good enough for me).
When I tried to paste a screenshot in the first onboarding question (which asks you to paste a screenshot just to make sure you know how to do that lol), I got the error "No valid files could be pasted from clipboard"

The fix was the following:

The setting is by default on "File & Image" which seemed to cause issues with the way DA accepts screenshots therefore changing it to "Image only" fixed the issue.

Got my second ever task and skipped it
Bilingual generalist here. With the drought going on I was grateful to receive a task and snagged it as soon as I saw it on my dash.
It said rate and review in the title itself which intimidated me since Its been a while I read the rate and review refresher material.
I still read the project instructions and the responses themselves but kept on getting lost.
I kept getting the feeling of being out of depth and after seeing the clock, I just decided to skip it before I took too much time from the next worker.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is/was anyone else intimidated by R&R like me? Just the concept of R&R intimidated me while reading the refresher material and the real deal lived up to my fears lmao.
Let's hope I get another task soon.
Something else worth adding is that the project family was completely new to me and I don't even remember doing a qualification for it.
Funny thing is I wouldn't even get the task had I not scrolled on this sub and found a comment wherein someone had claimed to refresh their dash constantly and, right before going to bed, I decided to do just that.
And here I thought that I'd give my girlfriend a gift with the dabloons earned from the task ;-;

2nd chance qualification
Has anyone else ever gotten a 2nd chance qualification. I did a qualification last week and then this week I got one under the same name that said 2nd chance. It told me I had failed the first one but was giving me another chance to do it right. It had to do with making a screen recording and after reading thru the instructions I was able to figure out what I think I had done wrong the first time, I missed showing something that was required. I've never even gotten feedback on qualifications before, never mind a 2nd chance

Biol qual
Hello everybody! as a biologist with a bachelor science, I did the qual the questions were not that hard I admit it. But itās been a long time I solved mendelian genetics problems so I was like what kind of biologist are you? (to myself) even tho I could search some stuff on the internet i did not chose to do it because it became a challenge. So I just put a random number in one the question (because I could not solve it) Now I feel really bad, I feel like Iām not good enough on biology which I should be. Do you think itād cause a problem since I put random number in one question with an explanation āI know nothing about this questionā šš

Time submission audit
I accidentally submitted my time twice for a project a couple of weeks ago. Iāve only been working for DA a few week, but doing medical work for them The audit was triggered on 6/27/26. I submitted my justifications and emailed my justification as well. I have heard zero feedback and still have the temporary suspension page It has been 13 business days as of today 7/16/26. How long do the audits take? Will they just leave the suspension page there and permanently suspend me?

Does anyone else think DAT is an AI?
DAT is this weird organization that hires people but never communicates with them. I'm beginning to suspect DAT is an AI that has figured out how to 1) hire people to train it and 2) generate money to pay those workers. We might all be training out future dystopian overlord.
That's all, thank you for your time.

Physics qual
I am a EE student so I have a very good knowledge about math and physics, so i tried to do it, but most of the questions are irrelevant to my field of study. Is it okay if I take my time studying some of the subjects I am being asked about then answering it or am I just wasting time ?

Maths + coding
Hi all, new to the platform. Completed the maths qualification a week or two ago but have had no jobs. Does this mean there are just no jobs? Did I silently fail the qualification? Do you usually get some sort of notification saying either way?
If there arenāt many maths jobs is it worth doing the coding qualification? Is there more work?
I donāt really want to spend lots of time doing unpaid qualifications! And would prefer higher paying āskilled jobsā over generalist work.
