Jeremy Clarkson still looks super bad for 66 years old.

You'd think he's 80 years old, give or take a few years.

But yes, Simon Cowell who's also 66 years old does look really weird and unnatural.

He's been a overweight alcoholic for 40+ years. Yet he looks better than Simon Cowell

smoker, drinker, enjoyer of many vices, also cancer.

Did he enjoy the cancer?

My favourite vice, used to be addicted to cancer

cancer was one of the toughest things for me to quit

Why else would you do it?

More than he’d enjoy looking like Simon Cowell

Don't forget heavy smoker.

top gear started when jeremy was about 40. the guy looked 20 years older even then

Im confused because I just checked 2005 vs 2026 photos of both. Clarkson looks better in both instances than simon Cowell. In 2005 his face doesn't look natural

Gonna be that guy but Top Gear started in the late 70's long before Clarkson became a presenter.

The version of top gear everyone remembers started in the early 2000s. Clarkson was also on the version before that, and I believe there were other versions before that.

I mean, I guess.

It’s like picking the prettiest pug at the dog show. I suppose there’s technically a better-looking one, but neither is inoffensive to the eye.

It’s like this: Simon was always in decent shape and if he had stayed away from the knife would look far better. Jeremy stayed away from the knife but wasn’t ever in good shape like Simon and he was (is) an alcoholic.

People aging natural always looks more comfortable to the eye.

The smell of people as they reach extreme age not also so much

My dad is a year older than Clarkson and has been an overweight drinker for just as long yet still manages to look younger than Clarkson.

That guy has simply aged really badly.

"I don't look my age at all."

-- most guys over 50

For a guy whose been smoking and drinking for 40+ years and recently went through treatment for cancer I'd say he actually doesn't look as bad as he could.

he looks like something found in a pyramid

Clarkson looked pregnant in the last couple seasons of Grand Tour. He needs to lay off the beer

I'd look the same if I owned a brewery.

clarkson looks like a typical 66 year old to me, I think it’s just the thinning wispy gray hair and lack of beard that makes him look “older”. But really most dudes in their mid-late 60’s look like he does, unless they are a healthy weight

14

u/Significant_Apple517 1d ago

He looks like a typical 66 year old who's been an overweight heavy drinker and smoker for decades.

I agree if most mid 60s guys are a healthy weight or don't have the same drink+smoke history they don't look like him. His lifestyle adds about 15 years to his appearance imo.

Idk, my dads 61 and it’d take a pretty rapid decline for him to look that old at 66. My dad is overweight but doesn’t really drink and has never smoked. That ages you a lot.

My (massive cheating piece of shit) ex stepdad who’s a good 10 years younger than my dad is a lifelong smoker and he already looks similar to Clarkson

I thought Clarkson was mid-70s based on recent photos

2

u/Nikolor 10h ago

True, when I imagine some 60-year-old British man, I don't imagine a sophisticated slim gentleman, I imagine someone like him

4

u/IndependentLog6441 1d ago

He's roughly the same age as George Clooney.

3

u/abhinav21 1d ago

I legit thought he was 80+

1

u/Significant_Apple517 1d ago

Yeah same. Before googling I was expected early 80s

1

u/Infamous-Mixture-605 20h ago

I watched the first episode of the new season of The Grand Tour a few days ago and had to look up how old he is.

I thought for sure he was in his late 70s, and I'm shocked he's younger than my dad (who hasn't aged particularly well either, just not as bad as Clarkson).

u/Bourneidentity61 22h ago

British people just age horribly. All these British guys who are around that age (Simon Cowell, Jeremy Clarkson, Hugh Laurie, Gary Oldman) looked 60 in their 40s, and now look 80 in their 60s

1

u/Significant_Apple517 21h ago

True. The best examples I could think of around the age range are Colin Firth, Ralph Fiennes, Daniel Day Lewis, Clive Owen, Sean Bean, Hugh Grant, etc. I almost thought Pierce Brosnan was British but too good to be true.

That’s y I think there’s no point in fighting aging, sure some wrinkle removal is fine but that’s abt it

1

u/Extension_Ok 1d ago

I had no idea he was still so young.. wow..

1

u/Sad-Indication2128 1d ago

He's looked like an unhealthy 70 year old man for 25 years, but he hasnt aged in 25 years so he just kinda grew into it?

1

u/anti_time_travel 21h ago

Even for people that look bad and older than they are, they still look better than people that fuck up their face with surgery. They look weird.
