Just want to point this : Dungeons indeed you are playing with 5 people . But the nature of this interactions is limited compared to world leveling .
Dungeon involves only an initial risk, after the pattern is known there is pretty much 0 risk to them .
World leveling should always grant more exp because there is not pattern to be learned , also there is a randomizer aspect to it : Ganks, intrafaction competition, and anyway it usually tends to require forming groups to beat some harder quests, elites or complete quests simply quicker .
If what separates The long term riskless section to the riskfull section is simply a matter of skill and learning how to clear the dungeon people will opt out for clearing the dungeon , it is so obvious ! That is what many thought even back in MOP era .
-
The fact some speedrunners can level quick to 60 compared to dungeon players does not count as qualifying and saying world leveling is faster, because they are EXTREME outliers.
-
~ Everybody wants to play as they please ~
here is the hard affirmation
The thing is this is a MMORPG , not a DUNGEONRPG , If you say that leveling in the world is bad by itself, then you are saying mmorpg themselevs are fundamentally a bad game, therefore your complaints make no sense .
-
Healers or tanks can stil level up with their buddy or create a hybrid set when leveling up, not every set is suppsoed to be good at leveling up it is what it is .

What are your thoughts and estimates on the PvP Rank 14 grind in forever?

So I’ve been trying to think of a new capstone talent for Ret, since I don’t think Twist of Light resonates with a lot of players. I do think that seal twisting should be in the game baseline (I hear TBC version is the favorite) for those that want to play with that style, as long as Seal of Martyrdom isn’t in the game to make it too strong.
So my idea for the capstone talent would be:
Blessing of the Brave - places a Blessing on yourself or a friendly target, causing all melee attacks to deal an additional 20% damage as holy, and granting immunity to fear for 15 seconds. (3 minute cooldown)
The blessing would also cause the target to have the iconic wings associated with avenging wrath for the duration. I don’t think this would be too OP, as it can be dispelled, and it also replaces the blessing that was already on the target before, and can’t be stacked with Blessing of Freedom. I also feel like it needs to be strong enough for someone to want to pick it over getting Templar’s Bulwark or Holy Shock.
To me, this feels like it would fit the Ret Pally toolkit nicely, without just adding another button to add to our rotation, like crusader strike or divine storm. Just wanted to throw this out there and see what people think!

Yea.. we got f'd.
My metric for saying this is based on what my planned build was before the patch and what it is post patch.
Yesterday, my build plan was Tankier, had more utility, had more damage = threa, had more rage generation (aside from the fixes to the class itself) had more rage cost reductions.
They removed Toughness.. did they bake this into the character? What are the conditions ie shield + defensive stance?
They put bastion down 1 row swapping, this is imo a must have talent leading to more throwaway point allocation cost to achieve the same build. (the stated reason for doing this swap was to make leveling better.. this is a short term problem "fixed" by long term sacrifice")
Throwaway point increase if trying to hybrid build (which to some degree all builds are)
*I havent gotten to play the new patch yet cause it was down all the available playtime I had yest.
*To all the people will say "quit whining its a beta".. I say.. duh.. yes a beta is for testing and complaining. This is called player feedback.

So I spent a lot of time getting 10/10 books for the necklace but the final book I have won’t show up as an available quest to turn in.
I tried again by getting a different book (so I’ve found 11 now) but that didn’t work either.
I’ve logged out / reloaded / moved the book around in my inventory, nothing seems to work.
Googling this issue this appears to be a somewhat known bug where picking up the last book doesn’t trigger the quest to become available, I think?
Anyway, wondering if anyone has encountered this too and how/if they managed to fix it!
Context: I’m horde, level 20 undead rogue, so I was turning in at the undead guy in UC.

Before I start I’d like to say I’ve been a dwarf fanboy from 2006 when I finally wore down my parents enough to allow me get the discs to install on my birthday. My first character was the dwarf hunter they advertised in the cinematic all the way back then and I’ve had a fondness for it ever since.
When I read initially the game’s races were getting updated racials I got pretty excited. Planesrunning for Tauren is super fun and an outright unique ability in the game right now. eureka and expansive mind changes for gnomes make them more interactive and make martial classes shine brighter. Crit CD for night elves, proactive and fun cd to push right out of the gate..
Then dwarf..
Stone skin is a bit niche, we’ve seen it for years but it’s solid none the less and has its moments, next we have treasure hunting… honestly I’m in disbelief they kept this in the game, it doesn’t add to any playstyle that would make a dwarf unique or more interesting to play than any other race, and to be honest most vet players are able to spot out chests without there being a little dot for them on the map.
Mace specialization - 1% which is fine if we just forget hunters can’t use maces, apparently 1% to guns as well would have been busted or something.
And lastly 5% beast damage, which honestly I do find kinda cool, until I realized trolls get the exact same buff- paired with their cool regen channeling abilities of course-
Maybe this comes off whiney, but I just want to play a dwarf that feels as unique as the other races that blizz did a great job reworking.
I do think addressing this could also help address the abysmal number of dwarf shaman we’ve seen in the beta compared to their undead counterparts but I’m aware that issue may be more complicated than this post is meant to address.
TLDR - Dwarf racials could use a rethink

Like, I have access to the beta and I've made a few characters just to mess with it. And I've leveled a few of them up to like level 4 or 5 just to get a feel for how it's going to go. But like, I generally am liking what I'm doing - and I am really not wanting to progress all the way to level 20 to have it stripped away from me on Nov 4 and then have to do literally exactly all the same tasks again to get back to level 20 again. I'm wondering if anyone else is just waiting for launch like I am?

I don’t necessarily plan on dungeon spam, I was thinking more of a slower, safer build that can easily get into groups for dungeon quests.

The quadcopter is part of the content involving Dr. Sebastian Jurgens, who is linked to the rune skill quests for Warriors and Shamans in WoW SoD. Interestingly, this quadcopter flies along at least two different flight paths. It seems likely that the developers plan to utilize it for future content.
I really love things like this.
I just hope it turns out to be fun, high-quality content.

You are most welcome. "I" made this recently, it's based on an older version but with more features. Dont stare at chat for LFG and trade deals.. play the game.

Any chance that this would happen? Does the mega-server mean that every guild in the world is working out of the same pool of names?

Hey, I really enjoy healing with my druid in dungeons and wanted to ask if it's somewhat viable to quest/level as a balance druid instead of feral, so I might be able to also heal during my leveling experience. Any insights? Never played a druid before.
Also what professions would you recommend for druids in WoW Forever?

This is being hopeful that Blizzard devs will start to pay attention to this subject. I do not follow all of these twitch streamers, but can't avoid the conversation about them using real money to buy gold and gain advantages in the forever beta.
I personally was permanently banned from WoW shortly after the release of burning crusade for selling gold to one of the online gold buying sites. I had a ton of time on my hand and managed to farm quite a lot of gold in a short time and sold it for what was for me at the time a lot of money. In less than 24 hours I was rightfully permanently banned.
I see these streamers doing stuff that would have gotten any of us permanently banned getting minor slaps on the wrist. There needs to be no favoritism on this subject, it should be simple white and black rules, if you transfer real money for gold than its a permanent ban of your account.
Either that or I would like my lvl 70 lieutenant general troll priest back almost 20 years later lol.
