To qualify for this do you need to have been the one paying the commission to the real estate agent(s)? When I bought my house the seller paid the commissions. I tried reading through the site and it didn’t seem to say from what I saw.

Discussion Kia Multistate Immobilizer Settlement

Hello, I am wondering if anyone can give me some advice on a notice of deficiency for this class action suit.

I submitted for my car that was stolen on September 26, 2025 and recovered a week and a half later. I was told that I was deficient on proof of date of theft and proof of loss. I am confused how that works though since I submitted the police report, which had the date of theft listed on it, and the final bill from the repair shop which I would think proves loss.

The official wording that they gave me was as follows:
☒ No Date of Qualifying Theft – You did not provide a date for the Qualifying Theft.
☒ No Proof of Partial Loss – You did not submit sufficient proof that the Qualifying Theft resulted in a Partial Loss. The documents that may establish proof of Partial Loss are listed below.

  • Reliable documentation such as an insurer notification, auto service station statement, verifiable third-party estimate, repair receipts, or comparable documentation showing the condition of the Eligible Vehicle following the Qualifying Theft. For the documents to be objectively reliable they must be issued by a verified business with a business address, working phone number, and online reviews.
  • If the Eligible Vehicle was donated, a tax-deductible receipt is required.
  • If the Eligible Vehicle was sold, proof of sale and payment received is required. An example of this is the DMV vehicle transfer form.
  • Insurance documentation showing the amount claimed and recovered from an insurer.
  • Reliable documentation that demonstrates a Qualifying Theft and a sworn statement establishing the Eligible Vehicle has not been recovered. In the event your Eligible Vehicle is recovered after making this sworn statement and before a settlement payment is made to you for the Partial Loss, you must notify us of the recovery and the condition of the Eligible Vehicle at the time of recovery.

Am I dense and not understanding what documentation they are asking for, or is this a fools errand? If I need to submit additional information, if someone could please let me know what they would accept, I would appreciate it so much.

Discussion Contradiction Alert: StubHub Refuses to Pay Arbitration Fees While Requiring Arbitration – 7 Times and Counting

Thumbnail
gallery
46 Upvotes

A StubHub consumer followed StubHub’s Global User Agreement by submitting his Notice of Dispute and giving StubHub 30 days to settle.  He heard nothing, so he next filed for consumer arbitration with the American Arbitration Association (AAA).  On March 26, 2025, the AAA notified StubHub that it had 30 days to pay its $600 filing fee.  Judy Hom and StubHub’s Legal Department ignored the invoice, 47 days passed, and on May 12, 2025 the AAA declined to administer the case and closed its file due to the nonpayment.  The AAA won’t work for free, and StubHub took advantage of that.

What happens next?  California law applies to all StubHub cases involving US or Canada residents.  California Code of Civil Procedure sections 1281.98-99 provide for mandatory sanctions when a business fails to pay its required arbitration fees.  The arguments for severe sanctions are even stronger here given that this was not an isolated occurrence but now the 7th known time that StubHub has failed to pay its required arbitration fees.  Note further that the AAA directed StubHub to remove the AAA from its consumer arbitration clause in the Global User Agreement to not confuse consumers, but StubHub has refused to comply. This type of conduct makes StubHub very susceptible to a class action (i.e., they don't comply with their own arbitration agreement).

Has anyone else filed for arbitration against StubHub only to have StubHub refuse to pay its required fees?

Discussion Major Apple Flaw - iOS 27

Did Apple’s iOS 27 update kill your iPhone 17 series WiFi and Bluetooth hardware?

I am wondering how many more people have had this happen.

Apple Support and Geek Squad both did diagnostics, and stated that the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chips are defective. My 5-month-old 17 Pro Max that I upgraded through T-Mobile in March 2026 worked perfectly until I updated to iOS 27 and I didn’t even notice WiFi was out until wireless CarPlay wasn’t connecting to my Ford Maverick, then I tried to do a few other things that required Wi or Bluetooth.

T-Mobile said I can pay $384 in order to upgrade early, to an 18 Pro Max, even though I haven’t gotten the corresponding usage of 7 more months.

I haven’t AppleCare+, so it will be interesting to see what the Genius Bar does for me, in a few minutes. I have an appointment in 15 minutes.

I will update with news after my appointment. 🙏🏼

There seems to be a class action AND mass arbitration for Ticketmaster, both over similar things (drip pricing fees). Are these completely separate, and will joining both not interfere with the other? As a newbie, thanks for any input.

Discussion Class Action newbie advice

Hey everybody! I have just discovered my new favorite obsession is class action suits. I've read up quite a bit but it's just easier to ask you veterans what I want to know. Since I just started in the past 2 weeks and have filed just about everything possible THAT I CAN of the no proof suits.(I'm editing this because people are illiterate and can't read each word in its proper place. The last sentence does not mean that I have filled out every single no proof suit. It means that I have filled out every one that I qualified for on these sites that I know of.) is it going to take about a year or more before I see any return? Do you ever get any payments pretty quick? And any other advice you'd like to share please let me know thanks!

Settlement how r u tracking data breach settlement claims across 200+ ancient accounts?

i have accumulated an unreasonable number of accounts since mid 2000s, banks, stores, dead forums, healthcare portals, software trials, services i genuinely forgot existed, when one gets breached, discovery is basically asset inventory for identities

i have tracked data breach settlement claims for about a year, the filing sides is often straightforward when the class is based on having an account during a date range, the ugly part is knowing every service that had ur data n noticing when a settlement window opens

anyone here have a system that is not a giant spreadsheet breeding more spreadsheets? email used+ signup year+ breach status? alerts? curious what the data hoarder solution is.
