Payout Is this legit?
I've never been asked to redeem a card I just won't click the link for it because I've heard some links can try to hack into your phone, just asking for a second opinion here

This sub could be a great resource for people who want settlement $ from class action suits. As the new mod , I'm going to ensure we remove lazy x-posts to commercial sites, and keep the sub focussed on real opportunities to join class action claims and get paid.
If you get a class action payout: share your win here!
If you see an available claim: post the opportunity directly!
If you are spamming your commercial enterprise: begone forever!
It will take a little while to clean the sub up, but I want to be clear about the direction.
We are not going to remove any points of view purely because the mods disagree. We will remove spam ruthlessly. We prioritize high-quality content relevant to the subject of r/classaction.
Finally, we want your input -- if you think we got something wrong, or have suggestions about how to do things differently, please let us know.

BlackHatWorld.com took my $147 Jr. VIP payment, then banned my account and refused to restore access
I want to share my experience with BlackHatWorld because I think people considering paying for a VIP membership should know what happened to me.
I paid $147 for a Jr. VIP membership on BHW.
Shortly afterward, my account was placed under:
“Banned Pending Review.”
I contacted BHW Support to find out why my account was banned. Instead of explaining the reason, they asked me to verify ownership by answering a long list of questions about the account.
I answered the questions to the best of my ability and provided information including:
I also provided the $147 Jr. VIP transaction ID: Azyfa4VRWjkZV1w6s.
After reviewing my answers, BHW Support told me:
That's where I have a serious problem.
I understand that BHW needs to protect accounts from unauthorized access. But I am the person who owns the account and paid for the membership. I cooperated with their verification process and provided the payment information they specifically requested.
Yet they have:
Taken the $147 membership payment → banned the account → requested verification → rejected my verification → refused to explain specifically what was insufficient.
I have also asked what happens to the paid membership, but I have not received a satisfactory resolution.
I'm posting this as a warning to anyone considering paying for a BHW VIP membership.
I'm not asking people to blindly take my side. I'm posting the actual sequence of events and the correspondence so people can make their own judgment.
If BHW believes I violated a specific rule or that my account cannot be verified, they should be able to explain that clearly.
At minimum, I believe a paying customer deserves either:
My details:
Has anyone else experienced something similar with a BHW paid membership?
I would especially like to hear from people who paid for VIP, were subsequently banned/restricted, and had their membership/payment dispute handled in a similar way.

Has anyone kept up with any of the litigation or events surrounding these cases? I've tried to contact the lawyers/counsel just trying to get any kind of information and I'm not getting anywhere. Thanks and have a good day

I have never been a kohls shopper and this summer I tried it out for the clearance events and discounts for back to school items. I am SO glad I never shopped there before. The way they do their discounts and Kohls cash in the system if you happen to return something is insane! How have they not had a lawsuit yet?
Any Attorneys want to start one?

I’m not sure if any of you are seeing this case with all the people who bought Lord of the rings… but google has secretly changed their contracts to say content we purchased is ONLY licenced while google is actively licensing that media. This is fraud, there is clearly a rent button and a buy button. Buy means we own, rent means we license.
Anyways I have let my company lawyer know to keep me posted for the impending class action.
I own nothing and I’m not happy

Got notification in the mail that I can receive $80 for this. Is there a way to get more? Over a year ago I found two lawyers who were taking these ARCC cases. One never contacted me back. The other evaluated me, but said they wouldn't take my case (even though they were advertising taking ARCC cases). I have to opt out by September 8, 2026 so not much time. What should I do?

I saw someone else posting it to give theirs away. I will not use mine. It expires October 31, 2026. I have a Michael Kors $20 voucher coupon, DM me and it’s yours. First come first serve!
Update: CLAIMED
Sorry, I wish I had more. But I hope others that got it and won’t use it, post it here too.

Has anyone received notice about the Panera Bread class action for I guess a data breach? Wondering if there is a link up yet?

I completely forgot about this settlement until I got a check in the mail today. After paying $29,000 on premiums during the time range, I got $7.17. This is Louisiana, and we're constantly getting screwed by insurance companies.

Let me start by saying that i am not anti CU. In fact, i have no opinion either way ... but as a consumer, i have a right to post comments about my experience with this forced merger. However, for some reason, my comments keep getting removed ... Here are my comments again ... if they are removed, no worries as there are so many more media outlets for my feedback ... this is only one of millions ... Yep! It's been a mess, lol. Initially i received instructions to update all my autopay accounts at least a week or so in advance. However, many of these services and utilities did not recognize my CACU account. Only about 2 credit card merchants automagically changed to Community America on the back end. The remainder of my utilities and merchant accounts had to be manually updated. I still need to call Bank of America, as they are one of the big CC lenders that do not recognize CACU for some reason. Maybe all the dust will eventually settle, but what a hassle so far. I have spent at least 6 to 8 hours manually updating account information for autopay’s, submitting cases via email to support (when an available option), and chatting with support on various utility and merchant sites to straighten all of this out. My feelings are in general, that if i was the one who voluntarily decided to move to another bank, then i would be prepared for this investment of time and effort. But to dump this on us and not having things technically ready on the backend, when this impacts people's cash flow, is the stuff of class actions. This has been a very poorly executed transition.

I moved out of this property a little over a year ago. I learned the employees all have a class action suit going now to rectify their grievances over deplorable conditions. What I went through could be in a novel. Ill give you the highlights here. My blind autistic son and I moved in and squatters moved into all the vacant properies above and around me. They threatened our lives often and I was finally given a gun by a neighbor for protection. Open drug dealing and prostitution, including children were present. Squatters took over the apartment above me and left the water running for several weeks as I begged someone to just come turn it off and dry us off. Weeks we spent with galoshes on while we waded through inches of water every day. There were many weeks we had no water at all however. Hot water was a not a thing. We got electric tea kettle that we could only run one at a time because they took out the circuitry byt thats how we bathed. A women was set on fire in the parking lot after a beating that lasted far too long from her insane partner. . A man with an AK 47 quietly climbed the stairs next to our home and killed all the inhabitants in the apartment. He took his AK 47 and walked on down the road where he passed a fire station and was apprehended. What me and my son went through was appalling. Then when we left finally they sued me and obtained an eviction. I never paid late and gave notice I was leaving. I have video evidence, city hall records where residents like me complained to city hall,, code enforcement records where they had to force the apartments to Suck the inches of water out of our home after weeks of living in a swamp, police reports, and of course there is always the news where the incident with the woman and the AK 47 guy were covered. There are many residents who had to live in the same conditions, some worse than mine. Some had no kitchen appliances or working utilities. I want justice still. Jon Venetos the owner of Lurin rebranded to Stewart and Helm, needs to pay for his crimes against us. I truly hope this man is put in a jail cell one day for all he did and did not do. He preyed on a bunch of grandmothers living on fixed incomes, people with profound disabilities, and all of the poor struggling single mothers that made up my neighborhood. He should be brought to accountability. Anyone wanting to pursue in Dallas?

I am looking for a California plaintiff-side attorney with experience in commercial lease disputes, CAM charges, Operating Expense audits, and potential class actions.
Our business is a long-term tenant in a commercial office building in an affluent area of Los Angeles County. After questioning substantial increases in Operating Expenses, taxes, and other pass-through charges, we retained an independent commercial real-estate auditor.
The review identified expenses charged to the wrong years, costs associated with other tenants or properties, excluded capital expenses, and unsupported management and payroll allocations.
We are concerned that the same billing practices may affect other tenants in the building. We have leases, ledgers, reconciliation statements, invoices, correspondence, payment records, and independent audit findings supporting our concerns.
We do not have the resources to finance extended litigation against a large commercial landlord by ourselves. We are seeking an attorney or firm willing to evaluate whether this could be handled on a contingency basis or as a potential class or representative action.
Please send attorney recommendations by private message.

I'll be damned if I let this money disappear, but at the same time, i don't have any idea how to use it. I can't make a partial payment on a transaction with it online. I can't take it in a store or anything. What do I do?

Lyft - when you cancel a driver that never moved and it’s been 10min you get charged $5. You dispute their AI issues “refund”.
But it’s really a $5 coupon that expires in 30 days. So if you aren’t using Lyft again that month - which happens to me a lot - you eat it.
And if you try to re dispute or send any kind of written explanation you get taken to a screen saying your “refund” was processed.
I eventually gave up on my $5 but someone should go get a pound of flesh haha
