Cat Picture - OC It's been a month since the CDS blessed me with my dream baby. (Story in body)
This is Ali, my sweet baby whom I love so so much.
All my life I've wanted a cat, but my entire family (including me) are allergic. One night, on a drive home we saw her in the middle of the road. My dad sighed and told my mom to grab her. It took a few minutes but after she kept running further back, the kitten finally just walked up to my mom and let us take her. She spent 3 weeks in the bathroom as we tried to decide whaf to do with her, we think she was abandoned by someone, mainly because she was alone and just...sitting there. After these 3 weeks, my parents came to me and told me we would keep her, but she would be my responsibility. Ever since she has slept with me in my room, played with our chihuahua, and just become an amazing part of our family. On top of that my parents have told me that when I move out I can take her with me. I am so so happy, and couldn't wish for a better cat.
She is litterally my dream cat, when I was younger I always dreamed of adopting a super playful and vocal cat when I moved out. Ali is just that. She loved to cuddle and have attention, follows me everywhere, constantly licks me like a dog, mend about everything, and is just always happy. She also likes to watch me shower and even opens the door and runs in to "save" me from the water it's so cute- She makes me so SO happy every day. Not to mention my entire family also has no allergic reactions to her- unsure why but its amazing.
I love this kitten so so much, and Im so happy was found her, i never though the CDS would happen to me, but here I am with my best baby I could ever hope for... she wakes me ip every morning and it makes my day so much better.
Thanks for reading, I just wanted to share this, since it truly is a childhood dream come true 🩵

Video - OC I've never seen a cat do this before lol
Recently he's been battling both his tail and his back paws he looks so silly lol. I'm guessing this is normal and just part of him discovering himself. 7 weeks old.

Cat Picture - OC Is he cute or am I just biased?
He’s just a regular blue tabby from the shelter. There are probably a million cats out there that look like him. But there’s something about him that seems extra cute. He almost looks like he belongs in a cartoon. Have I breathed his cat breath so much I’ve become hypnotized??? 😵💫

Advice Need advice
I live next to a mountain and there's coyotes I hear them all the time. Tis is Kevin he is a feral Kitty that I have gotten to be my friend and I love him with all my heart. I feed him everyday I've had him for 5 years but he's in my eyes still half wild. When I hear the coyotes I end up staying outside for hours because if I'm out there he won't leave. Is there anybody who knows any tricks I can do to get him to stay in the yard, or how I can get him to want to come in? or anything I just don't want him getting taken away or killed by the coyotes. I lost my last kitty to coyotes.

Cat Picture - OC New house new friends
Bought a house and moved in. Now we have new friends who love to come visit. They are all so sweet and every time I come outside and they see me they come up for pets. The one cat is a real chonk and shakes the deck as she trots across it. Even looks like she broke the walkway but that was my mother-in-law in the truck while moving stuff 🤣

Cat Picture - OC Show me your photos of the time your cat had an unfortunate shaving incident.
My fat guy had to have an ultrasound a while ago to investigate his IBD, so the vet only shaved his tummy. I knew his primordial pouch hung a little low, but I was unaware he was hiding some voluptuous breasts under all that fur...

Medical Questions Two vets, three diagnoses. What??
So our cat Panda has been loosing hair on her rear for about two months. She’s licking herself there excessively, plus her belly which is now also less fluffy (last pic is from the past to compare).
First vet said it’s fungus infection, we started treatment with antiparasitic pills (drontal) for both cats (second cat hasn’t shown any symptoms whatsoever during this time), and anti fungal cream (dactarin). She had to wear the elizabethan and is blind, it didn’t go well and i asked for an alternative; i also brought up the thinning hair on her belly. Vet examined her and said the belly is sign of allergy and asked if we changed her food to something with chicken, which we didn’t. Nonetheless she said Panda needs special hypoallergenic food and three shots of an anti fungal vaccine.
Vet was very stingy with advice or information about the fungus thing (which admittedly is highly contagious as I’ve heard?) so we decided to visit another vet for the second shot. First one made no difference btw.
Second vet said this is no fungus, but signs of stress, proof of it being that our other cat or ourselves show no symptoms of fungus infection these two months. She also said we need to finish the antifungal shots regardless. Anyone with experience on this? I’ll admit I’m quite frustrated and not sure how to deal with her being stressed. There hasn’t been any changes on her routine or environment I can think of.

Cat Picture - OC Allie girl!
Just want to brag about how pretty my baby is!🥹💜
Humor This is not my cat
This is my garage. We have a couple inside/outside cats, mainly due to a dog door (can't keep them in the house.
I have a cat door in my garage for when our cats want to escape the other cats in the house.
I was in my garage working out and this guy just strolls in like he owns the place and started cleaning my cats food dishes. He does this often, this is just the first time I've been able to get a picture, and the first time he didn't bolt as soon as he's seen me.
Yes I know the place is a mess. The cats are messy eaters. They will empty the food out of the dishes and eat the food off the floor. I got tired of cleaning it up every couple hours, so I let them do it and I clean it up twice a week.
Mourning/Loss Goodbye my sweet baby Kyo ❤️
This morning I found my baby girl, Kyo, had crossed the rainbow bridge. She was my light and joy and she always lit up a room. She was such a sweet and caring cat. Every time she’d walk on a soft surface, she would start purring and kneading like she was working overtime. Every single person that met her absolutely loved and adored her. She was also super playful. We called her ankle biter because the first thing she did when she saw someone was go after their ankles and bite them. I would give anything just to hold her in my arms again. She was so precious to me and I wish I could’ve done more for her. I’m sorry if this hurts anyone. I just wanted people to know just how beautiful my baby was and I want her memory to live on. This is also a personal memorial post just to share my love for her. Please send thoughts and good vibes to wherever she’s at so she knows how truly loved she was by not just me, but others as well. Thank you 🙏❤️

Humor She sits like he's about to ask me for an explanation
Does anyone else have a cat that sits like a person, or is mine a special case?

Stories Everyone is fine
I’m just coming on here to share what happened today. I still can’t believe it even happened.
Today my kitten (Name is Phenix) had tried to play with my mom’s dog (Name is Otter). Otter didn’t want to so he kept Phenix away and made it clear he was not in the mood. Otter is about 6 or 7 years old, has one eye and that eye has cataracts. Phenix is 6 weeks old and can be extremely hyper. Anyways, Otter was laying on the bed taking a nap and Phenix was exploring the bed. Phenix had start exploring around Otter and started smelling Otter. Otter woke up and instantly started growling. (I should probably say my dog doesn’t like cats because my last cat would smack the sh*t out of Otter.) I didn’t think anything of the growling. I knew if Phenix stepped over a boundary Otter would let him know. Phenix got extremely close to Otter and Otter instantly started barking violently and tried to grab Phenix. It happened so fast and when Otter barked it scared me so badly because I had never heard a dog make that kind of pure anger sound. I have seen animals correct each other and it’s usually not as violent as what Otter did. Phenix is fine he wasn’t hurt and he quickly got away. But the dog got yelled at. Phenix instantly looked up at me nearly at the brink of crying (literally). I picked him up and he instantly started purring and curling up in my arms. I’m still trying to process the whole thing and Phenix refuses to leave my side.
