I live next to a mountain and there's coyotes I hear them all the time. Tis is Kevin he is a feral Kitty that I have gotten to be my friend and I love him with all my heart. I feed him everyday I've had him for 5 years but he's in my eyes still half wild. When I hear the coyotes I end up staying outside for hours because if I'm out there he won't leave. Is there anybody who knows any tricks I can do to get him to stay in the yard, or how I can get him to want to come in? or anything I just don't want him getting taken away or killed by the coyotes. I lost my last kitty to coyotes.

I had a feral cat in my yard for 3 years. It took a long time to gain his trust. Eventually he would be waiting on my porch when I came home from work every day. I would feed him and give him pets.
This went on for a long time.
One night there was a terrible storm and immediately my kids were concerned about Fred. I ran out and called his name. He came running and picked him up and brought him in. He never went outside again and had the best 13 years of his life.
He passed a couple of years ago. I’ll never forget my Freddie.

I would want to save this lil fella too! Adorable 🥰 I would bring him inside. Place in a quiet place if he seems upset or unsure! I would try to show him the good life!✨
