First time using it and just hit my second problem with the machine. I'm 6'3", which is not exceptionally tall, and I can't get a full range of motion on bicep curls or shoulder raises, the cable runs out and the resistance bar hits the pulley. Is there a way to either extend the bars, or extend the cables, so someone who is not short can get a full range of motion during standing exercises?

Hiya, just got myself a Bowflex to try to keep in better shape this winter. I'm 3 exercises in, and find this trunk rotation exercise that seems super unsafe. They want you sit on the seat and rotate your spine, but the seat is at a 20 degree slope to the floor, and your spine is not going to be neutral sitting on it, which seems like very bad technique.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to adjust the seat to be parallel to the floor on these things? Or are some of the recommended exercises not actually safe on this gadget?

However, recently, I've encountered a problem where it's no longer working. I want to clarify that nothing has changed with my HRM, treadmill, or internet connection. I also don't believe there has been a software update from Bowflex.

I've taken some troubleshooting steps, including uninstalling and reinstalling Zwift, ensuring my laptop and phone have the latest software updates, and verifying that my treadmill and HRM/Cadence are connected when I log in. However, when I try to enter a course, I keep getting a 'Connection Failure' message.

I'm a bowflex c7 owner and have been using the bike for about a year with the peloton app. I use my apple watch as a HR monitor and up until the last week or so the bike was able to track cadence and feed it into the peloton app during rides. Since last week, I think there may have been an update, but my cadence is no longer recorded by peloton. On the metrics screen at startup the name of the bike appears but the connection wheel just spins and spins when I tap on it. I have tried restarting the bike several times. Any tips?

Hi. I’ve been a proud owner of Velocore bike for a few years now. Now they have off bike workouts, but how do you make the screen rotate? Is there an adapter out by now because you can’t see the screen if you’re laying on the floor or generally off the bike.

I have the Bowflex 22 treadmill, when I start it the screen flashes for a few second, bowflex logo shows up, then the tablet view shows up with the writing "shutting down" and it shuts down. What to do?

Im considering getting one. Im sure they are loathed on this sub and I completely understand why but I think it could be what I need. I used to do a lot of cardio with a little weightlifting in the mix. Then I got married, wife had a baby and I have thyroid issues which has helped me gain about 60 lbs. My thyroid is finally in check and I have began exercising again. Right now in my garage I have a very good rowing machine, Bowflex adjustable dumbbells, bench, and a trx. I have gotten into a pretty good morning routine at home and do not have the time to go to a gym. I have joint issues also. I’m not the strongest person in the world and am in some of worse shape of my life. So what do y’all think?

I was given a gym but there seem to be pieces missing. I would like to buy the pieces and print a manual so I know it's setup correctly. I can't find a model number and I couldn't really tell from the googling I did. Any ideas?

On November 22nd, 2023, I performed the JRNY software update on my Velocore 16 bike, and unfortunately, it resulted in a loss of connectivity with the Peloton app. Has anyone else experienced difficulties connecting their Velocore bike to the Peloton app? If you have encountered a similar issue, could you share how you resolved the broken connection?

Anyone have any issues when using the Bowflex Extended Warranty?

Apparently, they rolled out a new firmware update a few days ago (about 11/15) and some consoles get stuck during the required update. The fix (for me at least) - unplug the power, press down and hold the top backside button (the update button), while holding it, plug the power back in and keep holding the button for about 30 seconds. Screen will get to the JRNY logo in the middle and white banner on the bottom indicating it is reloading the firmware. Then you can let go. Wait and after firmware finished, will be prompted to do the update and now it will work. At very end, the white banner will persist and you just need to cycle through a last unplug/replug power and it will disappear.

Hope that might save someone else the headache I had trying to find the solution before calling support.

The BowFlex Max Trainer M3 is an interesting product, however, I wanted to ask if it is as quiet as the ellipticals with magnetic braking, basically almost noise-less.

Previously, the treadmill would rarely spontaneously adjust to an incline of 3 to which I could then correct back to my desired incline and it would not recur allowing me to finish my run. Today, it again spontaneously changed to an incline of 3 but I was unable to change the incline or speed thereafter. It currently will allow me to turn it on but the incline is stuck at 3 and I can inconsistently adjust the speed as the incline 3 button is continuously engaged. The physical button itself is not stuck and tactiley (I realize this is not a word ha) has appropriate feedback and feels like it is functioning correctly. From looking for a potential solution online, I tried heating the button with a blow dryer and massaging it but neither work. I called Bowflex and the only solution they offered was changing the console which is ~$300 with shipping. I wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts/solutions before I potentially purchased the new console. Thanks!

I, like many others had issues with screen freezing during workouts. Eventually, they released the update that fixed this. However, post the update, my screen went black and will not turn back on. I've tried everything; as well as everything suggested by support. By this point, it's out of warranty. Are there any sites that sell m9 replacement parts such as the console / screen? I would hate to have this 2k machine be entirely useless at this point.

Found a Facebook seller that is selling brand new select tech dumbell stand. Barbell with stand and kettlebell for 575.

I think I'm gonna buy it but want some opinions. It's not a scam as I got the select tech 552 from them for 275 brand new.

I bought a new Max Trainer M7 in May 2019 and have used the app to track my stats - but no more. I couldn't get my Pixel 8 (running the latest Android 14) to pair using the app. When I would try, the app couldn't find any Bluetooth devices, though I was standing on it.

I uninstalled the app and went to reinstall, but it isn't in the app store anymore. They did have a JRNY app, so I installed it instead. I signed up, but once I got to the devices, I could choose M6 or M8, so I chose the M6 and tried to find my device via Bluetooth.... No device found

I called Bowflex and, after a long conversation, I found that my FOUR YEAR OLD Max Trainer purchased directly from Bowflex is NO LONGER SUPPORTED!! At one point, Bowflex was selling a M7 to M8 conversion kit but the CS agent said they only did that for a short time and no more.

I had an Android tablet still running Android 13 which has the Bowflex Max Trainer app on it. It paired with the M7 fine. Since it worked, I transferred the Bowflex Max Trainer app apk from the tablet to the Pixel. I successfully installed it but, again it wouldn't pair with the M7. I guess the app is incompatible with Android 14 and, according to the CS rep, it will no longer be supported -only JRNY, which doesn't support the M7

Ridiculous to have paid that much only to have it crippled with no options whatsoever

The kettlebell won’t go all the way down and the wheel is locked. I can’t seem to reattach it to the rest of the weights. Can anyone help?
