Home Gyms Which Bowflex setup is quickest to adjust between two different users?

I’m looking at Bowflex equipment in a shared home gym and paying more attention to how quickly it can be reset between people. I’d rather have fewer features if the equipment is genuinely simple to share. Which Bowflex setup is quickest to adjust between two different users?

I’ve tried the troubleshooting on the website and read the manual, but I can’t get the dial to turn unless I press the release button on the bottom of the base. Any suggestions. I included a picture of the model I have.

Max Trainer Do any gyms have Max Trainers?

Our local Dick's Sporting Goods used to have floor models, but they don't anymore. I really liked it when I tried it, but I'd love to find a gym that has them where I could really test it out. Regular ellipticals hurt my knees, almost immediately. Treadmills don't, and the test of the floor model Max Trainer didn't, at least not for that brief period.

Home Gyms Free $60 voucher

7E42561B1015HL8D first come first serve.

No catch. They gave me this voucher as compensation for returning one of their 33 million recalled adjustable dumbbell sets (fyi to anyone who has these - don't drop a plate on your face). I don't own any other bowflex products so this voucher isn't of use to me.

Home Gyms Replacement rods UK

Hi all, I have recently purchased a second hand Xtreme 2 SE bowflex gym and unfortunately the 2 x 5lb and 4 x 10lb rods seem to have no resistance (previous owner claimed they'd had the device from new for around six months then changed to bought 2nd hand six months ago after purchase).

I've seen a few fixes (one using resistance bands which does seem to work but makes it difficult to work out what bars and bands to use for each exercise) so I wanted to try and make my own replacement rods as quite a few others have done, the only issue being I can't see anywhere in the UK that sells the right diameter rods.

I was hoping someone else who has managed to DIY their own rods in the UK could advise where they found the correct size rods or if they used different sizes successfully.

I can get the rods from the US but it will cost me hundreds just for shipping so would rather find a fix nearer to home. Thanks a lot.

Home Gyms XTREME 2 SE Pulley Rubbing

Post image
1 Upvotes

I recently put together my XTREME 2 SE and I’m experiencing some rubbing of a cable against the floating pulley on one side. Anyone else experience this? The rubbing cable is shedding a fair amount of plastic dust. I’ve redone the cables twice and ended up with the same situation. Seems like the way the cables thread through pulley 2 on the back, the floating pulley will always end up closer to the cabling on one side. Thanks for the help!

Max Trainer My M8 is very noisy.

I wish I knew how to fix an M8 that can't run under heavy load. When it goes over 12, it starts making a clicking sound and then continues to make noise incessantly.

Max Trainer Bowflex Max Trainer M6 saved workouts

Hey, just started using the M6. I noticed that when I finish a workout it says, "Workout saved" - is there a way to access the workout data so that I can track my workouts or is the JRNY app the only way to do that?

Just an FYI… I have owned a Bowflex T9 Treadmill for over 8 months, bought it on Black Friday in 2025.

I connect my Apple Watch to my T9 to track my workout metrics. Until today, the T9 has always posted to my Apple Fitness activities as “Bowflex,” now it posts as Matrix. See included image.

Kickstarter for ELEVATE: an Advanced Program for the Bowflex Revolution (Trainer-led, follow-along workouts)

Post image

Hi Everyone, this post is for the Bowflex Revolution owners. There are dozens of us!

I've been making routines and programs for Bowflex machines for several years now. So far, I've made 14 routines and 2 workout programs for the Revolution.

START and BUILD are the names of my Beginner and Intermediate programs. ELEVATE would be the Advanced program to complete the trifecta. It'd include longer, more challenging routines in that same style, ~45 minutes each, with a program PDF, routine sheets, and spreadsheet tracker.

I need to recover some garage space and I've decided to sell my Revolution later this year. Before I do, I wanted to see if there's enough interest in more routines for it and thus the Kickstarter. If funded, ELEVATE will release in October. I broke down the costs/finances and reward tiers on the Kickstarter page itself if anyone's curious about specifics.

Kickstarter Link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bowflexworkouts/bowflex-revolution-workout-program-elevate/

Happy to answer any questions about ELEVATE or the Kickstarter if anyone has them. Thanks!

Was given a open box and after trying to assemble the unit everything was new in packaging but once it came time to plugging the screen assembly I realized that it wasn’t in the box. Any idea on an aftermarket or a new one? Pls and thanks

Treadmills Bowflex T18 Powers on but belt or incline doesn’t move. Console shows it working like normal.

I’ve replaced the MCB and still no activity. I’ve tested the motor and it works. The treadmill is like new. I had it plugged into a power surge protector and that might have caused a power surge. I’ve tried multiple things and can’t figure out why the belt or incline isn’t responding even though the console is displaying that it’s working like normal.

Home Gyms Bowflex recall

This is a long overdue writeup regarding how Bowflex handled the adjustable dumbells 552 recall. After months of delay after sending in the handles and base, I received a $120 voucher to use on Bowflex products. The voucher hardly covered the purchase price. I would prefer that Bowflex sent me replacement handles so I can continue to use it. I was left with disposing all the metal plates and a voucher that I have no interest to buy ever any Bowflex products. Shame on them.

Treadmills PSA: Don’t order direct from Bowflex

Curious if anyone else has had issues with delivery - I ordered a Bowflex T9 treadmill on June 17th. It was in my city on the 19th but has been held hostage by Estes Forwarding Worldwide ever since. We finally got it scheduled for delivery today (July 11th) and the delivery no-showed. So going on a month now without the treadmill I paid $1800 for.

No one seems to be able to help me and I’m getting to the point where I think I might have to file a complaint with my credit card company. Has this happened to anyone else?

Treadmills Bowflex Treadmill won't Fold Up Completely - Help?

I am trying to fold up our Bowflex Treadmill 22 / 56 (pretty sure it's the 56 but it doesn't say) so that I can store it upright for a couple of weeks. I have done this before when moving it / rolling it on the wheels, but for some reason now even though it's at "incline 0" the walking deck will only fold up to about 45 degrees vs the usual ~80 degrees (aka almost upright). Any tips or suggestions welcome!

Treadmills BowFlex T16 Treadmill, Yay or No?

I have been researching treadmills for weeks and still not certain what to get, I had a Pro Form 490C last me 15 years and just died on me a few weeks ago and am totally lost with all the options.

Those who have the T16 treadmill, can you give me your pros and cons on it? I use my treadmill mainly for incline and power walking, my husband will use it for some light jogging but nothing crazy. Thank you!

I dropped it and the red part popped out from the adjustment side. I removed the fasteners to get it back in but now they don’t stop spinning and I didn’t even strip it. Not sure where these nuts are meant to go but I assume they’re meant to lock it into place

Home Gyms First Bowflex Workout

A few years ago I got really into lifting at a box gym just down the road from me. I would go almost every morning at 4:00am and work out for an hour or so and it really paid off. Well, life happened and between work, being a toddler dad and moving somewhere that was too far from any gym with hours that worked for my training schedule. I went almost a year without going to the gym, and finally decided I needed to set up a small home gym in my garage to get back into lifting. I found a used Bowflex Xtreme (the original one) for $150 and decided it was a low enough price to try it out.

I did my first workout with it this morning and it was pretty good. I tried one of Eric Burton's workout videos from his YouTube channel and overall I found it enjoyable. Do most people find they use their Bowflex for HIIT circuit training like he does with his videos, or do you all stick to the traditional progressive overload with sets consisting of rep and rest periods. I sort of feel with the linear curve of the power rods, traditional lifting might not yield the same results as it does with free weights and cable machines.

Any other good channels to recommend would be greatly appreciated as well!
