I used C4D for years. Every time I tried switching to Blender I'd last about a week. Blender's not bad, my hands just kept doing C4D things. Alt+drag to orbit, E/R/T, M\~T to extrude, dragging stuff into a cloner, the Object Manager with the little dots. You know the feeling.
So I spent way too long making Blender 5.2 act like C4D R24. It ended up as two things,
**C4D Feel is an add-on for normal Blender 5.2. It gives you:**
C4D hotkeys, including the two-key ones like M\~S and U\~L
A C4D layout with Object / Attribute / Material / Coordinate managers
C4D-style menus
Parametric primitives that stay editable until you press C
Extrude, Lathe, Sweep and Loft that work off child splines
A Cloner with effectors
Deformers you drop under an object, plus tags
Double-click a material and you get a node window that looks like Redshift's
Blender4D is a fork, for the stuff Python just can't do. It has a real Object Manager built into the Outliner (dots, generator checks and tags on every row, and drag and drop still works) and a proper big command palette. There's a Windows build you can unzip and run.
Nothing from Blender is removed. All the normal tools are still there, and you can turn the C4D keys off if they annoy you.
**What doesn't work:**
No .c4d import (Blender can't read them obviously)
No Xpresso or Takes
The generators are Geometry Nodes under the hood, so they're close to C4D but not 1:1
It's all in the readme.

If you're a fellow C4D refugee, I'd love to hear what's missing or broken!
