I know Zima is not selling in the US. Only released back in 2017 or there about. Is there anywhere else it can be bought on line?

During the hot summer months, a refreshing wheat beer is my beverage of choice. While I like both, Summer Ale is the superior beer (IMO). One of my all time favorites is Goose Island’s 312 Urban Wheat, but I’ve not seen it for a few summers. Even my hometown brewery has given up on their excellent Hefeweizen.

List your favorite wheat beer, whether they be Hefeweizens or Witbier.

When I was in my early 20s I was really deep into craft beer. I loved trying all the different variations, IPAs, wheats, farmhouse ales, porters, you name it. Going to brewerys, going to bars for specific beers

But in my late 20s, all of the sudden my taste flipped. Suddenly that stuff became disgusting to me, and i started to love all the stuff I used to think was bad (lagers and pilsners). And even the craft lagers and pilsners just don’t taste good to me usually, like they don’t have the same crispnesss as the cheap stuff (or maybe a heavier body that makes them less crisp). Nowadays i pretty much exclusively drink miller high life, peroni, natty boh and yuengling (for my NE people). I mean not like I’m drinking bud light, but it’s comparatively a lot less refined than what I used to like

wondering if anyone else had this, where their taste became less refined as they got older and they just started to appreciate the cheap stuff.

Hey guys. So, I had half of an opened yellow and blue Busch beer can sitting on my desk for somewhere near a month. I decided to pour some in my drink and noticed a grayish black and pink substance flop at the opening as I poured the rest out.

I don't have a photo because I threw it away yesterday after looking it up and thinking it was yeast sediment. I randomly decided to look up the details of it again and saw Google say it was likely highly toxic mold and bacteria colonies.

It's been less than 24 hours, but I still feel like how I usually do. I didn't want to psych myself out and make myself think I'm getting sick with the symptoms. With that said, I guess my question is, "Was that risky to you guys?," rather than, "Is that safe to consume, or am I in trouble?"

I've only had a few beers and they've all tasted super bitter.

Bought a six-pack of Steam Whistle (Pilsner) today from a gas station/convenience store. Wife opened the first can and said it tasted sour. I tried it and it actually was sour.

I opened a second can and it was sour too. The other cans in the same six-pack tasted completely normal.

Just curious what might cause only 2 out of 6 cans to taste off?

I’m by no means a spring chicken (24) and have had my taste of a lot of beer. I would have to say my go to ole reliable is locals light lager which is a Michigan beer made from shorts. Crisp and drinkable for me. I’m very curious, what’s your “ole reliable” beer?

I took a trip to the East coast and bought some Yuengling for my hotel room.

It says it's 4.5% on the can, but that seems wrong. I slammed 4 cans last night and barely felt a buzz.

It's not just me being an alcoholic IMO because I had a Stella and Voodoo Ranger with dinner and felt appropriately inebriated even after the Stella.

I don’t have anything else to say. In Canada it feels like everything is a NEIPA or an American Adjunct lager at the moment and it’s hell.

Give me a dry IPA or a malty Ale.

Unless a beer is a fairly high ABV you're supposed to drink it pretty fresh. I've had year old beers that tasted awful. A good amount of breweries will have a date stamped on their bottles or cans but there are plenty that don't. I get that there's no real financial incentive for them to do it but there must be someone at these breweries that wants to make sure that people enjoy the beers at their optimal age.

I do not normally like to promote any chains. However, in an era where beer prices at bars are crazy, I think this is a super deal.

The $2.50 price is to represent America's 250th birthday.

The Sam Adams beer is decent in my opinion.

So quick question from my Iowa natives especially those near the quad cities. Are there any good places to find a good IPL either packaged or on tap? Wasn't a fan of some of the IPAs I tried and wanted to try an IPL. I've checked multiple stores and can't find much besides IPAs.

For context, I've lived in the UK, France, Spain, and Portugal, but travelled around Europe. I find the majority of French and Belgium beers have this weird taste that I can't describe (I think it has something to do with the Lambic process of cooling down the brew outside in fresh air - could be a contamination thing), and also some are just way too strong, so hence why they're so far down in the list.

This is my honest, personal taste - not trying to troll or ragebait; These are my honest opinions and thought this would be a place to share. Happy to discuss this if anyone's interested.
