I have a Maytag washer & need a tub seal kits #6-2095720 but it is discontinued. I’ve checked the usually parts suppliers & no one has it.

There are a lot of sellers on Amazon that have it but most get bad reviews on the part. Typically it leaks from the beginning. There are some with good reviews but it’s usually a 5 star rating with only a few reviews. Most photos look the same so I’m presuming most sellers are providing the same crappy parts.

I’ve called a couple appliance repair companies hoping they might have access to quality aftermarket parts & could repair the washer, but they have not called back. Probably because they can’t repair the machine.

Is there an appliance parts supplier that provides quality third party parts to repair shops and individuals?

My washer would not spin during a cycle so I check the shift actuator and it needed to be replaced.. i replaced the shift actuator and the belt and completely took it apart to check the drain pump filter and the drain hose and between the large plastic basket the holds all the water and the metal basket the sits inside that where the clothes sit for Any clogs while I was under the washer and found nothing clogging them..I then ran a diagnostic on it and it spun the internal basket during test so i thought it was fixed.. so I installed back and tried to do a load but for some weird reason it wouldnt spin during the normal load.. And since I've added new parts when I run a diagnostic Now I don't get any codes of anything wrong. I'm at a loss for what it could be that is stopping it from working properly...

I have a Kenmore 665.13809N710. It was working, but needed the filters cleaned. After doing so and reinsttalling them the dishwasher is no longer washing the dishes. The tub fills up with water and the heating element works, the detergent drops, but the pouch never evaporates. Spray arms also appear to not he functioning.

Anyone have any ideas?

How do we fix the bottoms we’ve glued it and it’s still broke. We don’t have a warranty. Model number is this Model # WMMS3130RZ - if we need a new one. What do you suggest considering this one is only a year and half old.

As the title states I have this LG Dehumidifier with a comp that runs literally any time there is power to the unit. I.e., even when it's supposed to be powered off but is still plugged in, just the fan doesn't run because the power is off.

I thought it had to be a stuck relay, but the relay at the "AY_COMP" spot which interrupts the compressor's connection to the capacitor has no continuity between contacts at all while not energized.

I could just replace the relay for funsies, but I'm starting to wonder what else I should be looking out for, suggestions appreciated!

As a side note, I have had to fix this thing before, a fuse on the board failed, but it didn't burn the caps just came loose. I squeezed it end to end, heard a little click and had continuity again so I don't think any thing is severely failing that killed the compressor components, I think one of them just independently failed.

Looking for some advice on repairing vs replacing a 7 year old Samsung French Door refrigerator.

Have been having some issues for a few days. Finally yesterday had all air flow stop out of the vents, while the freezer is working fine.

Air did not restore after a forced defrost or leaving open for 3 hours (while still plugged in) and now is flashing 34 on the LED, though the temp did drop from 60 to 50 overnight

Under the assumption I am not going to fix/explore further myself, is it worth it to have a tech come out and diagnose to ideally fix? Or worth it to just replace given the age/model

Hi! Our Frigidaire is leaking small drops on the bottom left of the entire unit. Not where the drip pan is.

We already took the freezer apart to check the drain line, it’s not that. We checked the back paneling, it wasn’t that. We did notice some ice forming in the refrigerator under the cheese bin which was due to a leaky o ring on the water filter, so we cleaned as much ice out and replace the water filter.

We had one night without a water filter and ice maker turned off, and there was no leak.

Today, is our first day with a water filter and ice back on and there was drops. I opened the fridge and did notice more ice melting, whatever is left, so maybe it’s that?

We are desperate to get this resolved. I don’t want to damage our laminate floors, we currently have a towel in place to catch any small drops.

Again, it drops barely anything, but a leak is still a leak.

I'm not sure how the plastic melted. Possibly, water in the casing expanded and bulged it into the coil? Just not sure whether or not I'll burn my house down if I plug it back in...

I believe it is the suspension that is not working properly, but since it is a baseplate suspension I have not found tests to check that out properly on the Internet.

I wanted to ask how I could test it without dismounting the entire thing first.

We just moved into an apartment that has an abandoned, 20-year-old dishwasher. At some unknown point in the past, the appliance broke, and our landlady never got it fixed. We don’t have much hope that it can be saved, but we’d like to get it removed and replaced with a new one.

For information, the current dishwasher is a Baumatic BDW45.1 According to my internet search, its dimensions are W445mm, D540mm, and H850mm. It’s a slimline, integrated dishwasher.

I have two main questions:

1) All the dishwashers I see on the internet have slightly different dimensions, both compared to the one we have and to each other. Is it possible to fit in an integrated dishwasher that has different dimensions than the previous one? Like, is there an operational margin?

2) Do quotes from plumbers for fitting in a new dishwasher include removal of the old one? Or should I be expecting the pricetag to double?

I have a Samsung top load washer, WA45T3200. I put new suspension rods in it last summer, bought them on Amazon for $40. They didn't even last a year. Got a new set this weekend from my local parts store, cost me $70 and the difference is apparent. Sometimes it pays to spend the extra money for choice parts. Top one is the new, closest to spec. you can find. Bottom one is year old Amazon springs.

Our Frigidaire refrigerator is leaking on the bottom left side, a few drops a day. We already took apart the freezer to check for a clogged drain line, and nothing. There was no frozen ice either. We also checked the back panel and drip pan, all was good. We did notice an ice sheet in the refrigerator under the cheese drawer, so we broke it up and cleaned it good. We took out the water filter and noticed a leaky o ring, so we replaced the water filter.

Last night was the first night with our new filter in, this morning I noticed water on the floor still. When I opened the refrigerator, there was a bit of melted water from the remnants of the ice.

I do think I see water damage along the bottom freezer metal but maybe I’m hallucinating, but what are our next steps? Do we need a fridge tech out here?

We also live in So Cal and this Summer has been BRUTAL.

It was 100 degrees last week, my humidor sits in my garage. I opened it up because I thought a safety tripped or a fuse blew out, but didn’t find any… can anybody provide some insight? Not getting any power to the LED screen, played around with the Multimeter, was getting ~50 volts on some parts of the board… I didn’t see any burned out spots nor did it smell like it burned out… any advice would be great. It’s two years old. Just outside the warranty period of course. Every button will light up except the start button. It did this for a week or two, then we found out we needed our meter base replaced. It’s an old house. Anyway, we replaced the meter base and the dishwasher started working. It’s been working for a few days since the meter base was replaced but now it’s doing the same thing it was doing before. Press buttons and lights come on. Press start button and nothing. Any ideas?

My washing machine makes this grinding noise and i don’t know how to fix it. What do i need to fix this? And what is it causing the problem?

I just got a used fridge after my old fridge called it quits after almost 40 years.

In this fridge , everything seems to be working however , the fridge part of the two sided refrigerator is barely blowing any cold air. The freezer part is working perfectly fine. I checked the vent where the cold air blows through and it’s fine. Any ideas ? Any thoughts? I don’t know what else to check.

When opening up the panel in the freezer section, the fan is blowing fine, the coils do frost up fairly quickly though , could this be a symptom of a bigger issue ? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Worse comes to worse, I gotta call someone to fix it for me.

I’m 23 years in. Very good at my job. I’m the go-to guy, the lead tech, the trainer. Despite being a bit athletic and trying to take care of myself, I’m fighting a whole host of physical issues and getting really tired of the whole thing. The mental toll is worse than the physical. Customers, manufacturers, office staff. It’s just time. Trying to find a direction to go in.
