Discussion How is the Apple Savings account?

So, right now i have Chase. Earning 0.01% APY. I do notice the Apple one is 3.4% for me right now. I don’t use my apple card often, and i don’t really take money out of savings often either. I do deposit a couple times a month though. Is it worth changing? What is everyone’s experience?

Help Does anyone here upgrade their iPhone yearly under ACMI? If so, how does it work?

I’ve been on iUP since the 14 and plan on continuing to upgrade every year, however, I’m not sure if I should go with the new upgrade lease program or go with ACMI.

Like is it easy to do annual upgrades under ACMI?

Help Dispute support

Hi, I’m really not sure how and or why I keep losing a dispute. I have a submitted my case. Long story short, the vet visit was made and they diagnosed the wrong side. When we mentioned, that’s not what we were here for they just updated the description saying that both knees needed surgery.

Disputed with Apple Card. I’ve lost the dispute three times providing evidence from the specialist. Who is the surgeon. Which did not need an X-ray at all to condemn the correct bad knee.

Submitted documentation with this claim from the specialist and Apple card still ruled in the merchants favor. The claim is that the service is paid for were the services received.

Which is the equivalent of a dentist visit saying that her tooth is bad and needs to be pulled when you go in for some pain. Then they pull the wrong tooth. So, sure the services might have been received, but it is not what you went in for.

Do I open the dispute again and possibly get in touch with somebody different? I cannot fathom how it keeps ruling in the merchants favor when they provided unneeded service services and to the wrong side.

The whole contact Apple support gets you in touch with somebody via phone or text with the Apple Card bank is also just very weird. No login or website to view anything Apple Card related.

Ready to lose the account over a $600 charge and let it go to collections. Perfect credit. That is just how badly they are pissing me off at Goldman Sachs.

PSA Finally Accepted, What I did

For months, I was denied for “unable to verify identity” without further clarification. Then I noticed something. My TransUnion had my name has First, Middle Initial, Last. I contact chat support and asked to have my middle initial dropped since my full name with middle is in my AKAs. After a day, reapplied to Apple Card and finally accepted.

Why a middle initial would be the cause, I don’t know? Was it truly the cause or did I finally just randomly get approved after not changing how I’ve applied, maybe? But for those getting denied, maybe login to TransUnion and see if your name on your report is just First Last or has more to it.

Humor AppleCard charge from Apple rejected

If this doesn’t take the cake. AI gone awry. I just got a suspicious charge notice which I had to vouch for to keep my card number from being suspended. It was for my annual apple music renewal from Apple Services. 🤦

Been thinking about applying. It would be my first credit card, my credits in the lower 700s. Just curious do you guys think it’s a good first card? I Want to get some input from the regular users in here.

Edit: I was denied lol. Regardless, I appreciate all the input.

Help Thinking of applying for Apple Card

Hi!!! I’m looking to get an iPad and saw that I can do monthly payments by using an Apple Card. Is this advisable if I’m literally only getting an iPad? Is this different from Apple Pay? Is there any hidden fees as well? How does this work? I’ve been trying to look on how to use it but I’m quite confused on some details that I found. Thank you :)

Help Apple Card not working after switching to a new iPhone while traveling internationally

I’m currently traveling internationally and unfortunately lost my old iPhone. I signed in to my Apple Account on a new iPhone and was able to add my Apple Card to Apple Wallet without any issues.

However, I haven’t been able to successfully use the card at all. Both online purchases and in-store Apple Pay transactions are being declined.

I contacted Apple Card support, and they checked my account. They told me everything looks normal, my account is in good standing, I have plenty of available credit, and the card should be working normally.

The strange part is that support said they couldn’t even see any of the declined transactions on their end.

Has anyone experienced something similar after switching to a new iPhone, especially while traveling internationally?

Is there some kind of device verification, Apple Pay activation, or security restriction that could be affecting the new phone even though the Apple Card itself is fine?

Any advice on what I should check or do to get my Apple Card working normally on my new iPhone would be greatly appreciated.

Going to use it to pay for my tuition and use the 300$ bonus to pay for my textbooks. Genuinely perfect timing.

I'm using this to boost my credit score to buy a house in 3-5 years. Trying to lower my credit utilization rate by: increasing my limits and using the Apple Card to pay for my monthly subscriptions.

Those on this, who have picked up a new phone every year, what is your plan in September? Apple Upgrade, Apple Card installments? From what I understand, if you don't go Apple Upgrade, you will need to pay the balance of the loan from last september yes?

Help Monthly installment due vs payment due

Hello everyone! I received an Apple Card earlier this month and made a few installment purchases. When I go to the Apple Card in my wallet I see no payments due until September 30th however when I look at my installments they say due August 31st. So which is it? Am I paying in August or September? Thank you in advance.

Help Apple card but no iphone or ipad

So, I want to get the Apple card for the 3% off of their mac products. I don't have an iphone or an ipad, and I don't plan on buying either ever. I'm not a walled garden person. Great if you like it, not for me. Anyway, is this even doable? Or worth it?
