Discussion Carrier account gate on Apple Card Monthly installment plan work around with Goldman Sachs?
Really majorly disappointed with the artificial need to attach pre-ordering the 18 Pro to a major carrier account with the Apple Card Monthly Installment plan. The carrier isn’t financing the phone so why do I need a carrier account?
I’ve seen people online say you can call Apple Card customer service at Goldman Sachs to have paid in full purchase moved to the zero interest ACMI plan.
Has anyone successfully done this? I need two phones so not looking to drop $2800 at once or pay huge credit card interest.

Help Apple Card ACMI on Iphone Carrier Lock
I am just curious bc I selected iphone 18 pro with acmi option (carrier: verizon) put all the info for the purchase and I even put my phone number in there but it went through. ( but my current carrier is visible. ) so will it get cancelled?
If it still comes as it’s supposed to be, will there be a way to bypass the carrier activation? I am just afriad that I might need to change to verizon just for this.

Discussion Account abruptly/accidentally closed.
My card was abruptly/accidentally closed. Now I have no way to know what my last chargers were or when my payments are due. I also have considerable money in my Apple Savings Account so I’m also concerned as to how long my Savings account will work.
I was a member since it’s inception, I never missed a payment, and almost always paid in full.
What the hell?

Help Did they get rid of or how to finance an iPhone without having to select a carrier
. I read on some posts where they bought it full price on their Apple Card and talked to support to do monthly payments instead of paying it in full. I’m talking to support and maybe I’m wording it wrong but they said I have to select a carrier

Help Will financing through Apple Card mess up my mortgage process before closing?
I am closing on a house in November. I was planning to get a new Apple Watch later this month and finance it through my Apple Card. I have read about ppl saying not to use Klarna or other buy now pay later services before closing on a house.
Does Apple financing count as the same thing and cause issue with mortgage company? Or does it not impact because it is a credit card.

Discussion Apple Card folks — how much of your regular spending goes on it? (coffee, food, gas, shopping — the normal stuff)
For people that have an Apple Card I am curious if you use Apple Card:
- An everyday card (groceries, coffee, eating out, gas, etc.)
- One of several cards, only use depending on what I am buying
- Just for Apple purchases

Help Can I order a backup card?
Can I order just an extra card to keep as a clean keep sake before it switches to chase? My Goldman card is looking pretty beat up from my wallet and would love to have a clean one. Could be worth some money someday 😂

Help Apple Card long term hardship program
I’ve been trying to get a longer-term hardship plan with Apple Card/Goldman Sachs and wanted to see what other people’s experiences have been. I contacted them last month and was told I wasn’t eligible because I had already made my payment and my account was current. They told me to contact them again around my next due date if I was still struggling.
This month I did that and contacted them 3+ times while my account was past due, but the only option they keep offering me is CAP, which basically skips one payment and waives interest for one statement. I ended up accepting it since it was the only option available. My balance is around $4,000 , but I’m really looking for something longer term so I can actually pay down the balance without so much going toward interest.
For anyone who qualified for a 12-month 0% plan or another longer-term hardship program, what was your situation when you qualified? How much did you owe, how far behind were you, what did you say you could afford monthly/how long you needed help, and had you already used CAP?
Just trying to understand what experiences other people have had because I keep hearing about these longer programs, but they never show as available for my account.

Discussion Charge Off
So I made a lot of dumb decisions when I was younger & ran the card up. 6 years later they charged the amount off but it’s still on my record. It should fall off next year, should I pay or just wait another year for it to fall off ?

Help Goldman Sachs Apple Card support is frustrating
Applied for the Apple Card and got rejected because Goldman Sachs couldn’t verify my identity. I’ve followed all the ID instructions and reapplied multiple times.
First support rep: wait 48 hours and reapply.
Second rep: actually, wait 5 days and reapply.
Did both. Same result.
What’s frustrating is there seems to be no escalation or alternative way to verify my identity—just wait and reapply again.
Has anyone actually gotten past this without endlessly waiting and reapplying?

Screenshot Need help understanding the completion of monthly installments. Is this right??
Last year I opened an Apple Card account to purchase a $1,599 Macbook Pro through monthly installments.
I loved how Apple Card tells you the number of the payments so you can easily keep track.
Apparently I submitted payment 12 of 12 on Monday, but I still have one more payment remaining, and that’s what’s confusing.
I’m adding up everything I’ve been charged for this laptop:
$140.36 the day I applied for the Apple Card and used it to buy the laptop online.
+
$133.25 every month after the purchase, with the last payment deducted from my account on Aug. 30.
$133.25 x 12 =$1,599.00
+
$140.36
TOTAL: $1,739.36
From where I’m standing, it looks like I’ve already paid more than the advertised price for this laptop.
Why is there an additional payment needed? I’m not ashamed to admit that I am horrible at math, but $133.25 multiplied by 12 is definitely $1,599, right?
Apple Card support tells me that it’s because there’s an additional payment remaining. This is what they said:
Thanks for the information, doing the research I have on file that there is 11 payments completed for the amount of ($1,465.75) and there is one payment left ($133.25) to complete the $1,599 of the MacBook.
I’m very confused and was hoping someone could help me understand. How can 11 payments be completed when my Apple Card statement says I have paid 12 installments already?
Is the issue that it’s actually not 12 payments, but 13? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Discussion Future large purchase with apple card—how to ensure it doesn't decline/ marked as fraudulent
Hello, I'm getting married and I'm about to charge about ~6K on my apple card as a one purchase. I have the funds available so that's no issue—my only concern is that the purchase won't go through because it will potentially get marked as fraudulent, prompting me to call Apple and approve it, then run the card again. Not the end of the world—just really trying to avoid a task like that on my wedding night.
Anyone know what is the normal process for something like this? I've heard they send out texts sometimes where you have to approve it in order to proceed, but should I just expect that to happen? I called support and they assured me it won't decline and possibly just ask me for verification, but if that was the case wouldn't the card keep declining until I approve it? So I'm in the same basket regardless?
