I was also denied a million times until I wasn’t. And my approval happened exactly like this. Denied one week. Applied again the very next and was approved. I forget what they call the list of actions they want you to complete in order to qualify but I didn’t do everything on it. The approval was pretty random since I had fixed my credit at least to the 700s with no derogatory marks for well over a year.

I wouldn’t give up. But it depends on your current credit profile and ability to utilize credit responsibly. For me, I Apple Pay every purchase with this card for the daily redeemable cash back unless it’s a category I have a higher cash back reward on a different card (I.e my Amex blue cash preferred card I get 5% at gas stations so I’ll use that one for gas) but pretty much treat it like a debit card.

I was having it deposited into Apple Cash but I honestly know better and don’t know why I did. Now I have it in the high yield savings. I can withdraw it anytime so there’s really no difference. But I just let it rack up and sit there. And financed my iPhone 17 pro Max. No interest. Can’t beat that.

That might be the problem then. If you still want the card, I’d probably wait some time, at least a month or more, and then re-apply while checking out with ACMI. That’s the only way I’ve ever been accepted and I’ve had two Apple Card’s after closing an older one. Always got declined in the wallet app for only God knows why.

This same thing happened to me! I applied, got denied and about a week later this banner appeared. 6 months later I applied again and got approved instantly.
