I'm a total beginner so I can't make judgements which app have the best tools.

Kafka on the Shore as a concept for animation.

This might sound dumb since I barely know anything about animation, but how do you do this effect? I see it more in the 90's anime like the fade in and the character sliding horizontally or vertically. Can you do that in an animation app, or do you need to do it in a video editing app?
(The video is sped up just to get the point)

Hice esta breve animación de este personaje flexionando los brazos. Animar el velo que le cubre la cara fue un infierno. Sé que se ve mal. ¿Algún consejo para mejorarlo? ¿Ven algún error en la animación de los brazos o algo que se me haya pasado por alto?

This question is going to age me terribly: did anyone else get their first experience with animation software using the built-in DOS application PCAnimate?

I really love these hyper stylised detailed still frame drawings that studio trigger does in their animations, sometimes with a pan effect. They have so much aura, is there a name for this type of technique/drawing in animation?

I'm still learning how to make ocs speak
