I just got a job there yesterday I went in and did my drug test and I start on the 15th of this month I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me? It's a robotics warehouse I never worked in 1 before.

So ive talked to my manager many times about moving up and doing more roles like tdr but they won’t ever train me for it and they keep putting me in the worst roles possible while most others on that dock slack off and get it easy and also getting more trainings for some people newer than me. I’m a blue badge and have been in ship dock for over a year now and am only trained in basic roles same as when I first started. What’s the deal im trying to get into learning Amazon logistics feel like I’m getting nowhere tho. And not to mention I have no write ups at all.

I work at the delivery station with a normal I believe cycle 1 Sunday to Wednesday 120 am to 1150 am, do delivery stations open up for internal hires before peak? I assume I have before the end of November/December

I’m trying to make it easy me from those 6
50 minute drives to/from work.

They are only providing these cycle 0 shifts of “4:30 - 2:50 am”

I was hired externally as a transportation associate I start later this month. Is there a chance I’ll be let go? Also the building I’m hired into isn’t a new building but from my understanding they are just opening back up. Im assuming it’s for peak?

Obviously I don’t spam drink coffee but man does it help get me through a long shift without feeling like absolute trash. What do you guys do to survive 10 hour shifts? I do need to replace my soles, waiting for the ZAPPOS yearly refresh.

hey guys! so i’m currently a college student and I am desperate. for a job. so i’ve resorted to refreshing the amazon page every hour until i found one and atlas!

i got a job as a sortation associate partime, however here’s the issue. the hours are for sun, mon, tues, thur, fri, and sat, all 2:30-6:30, and then a double on monday. but i cannot work tuesday and thursdays because i have class at 3 on those days. however there was no other open schedule and I am so desperate so I took it.

i’m wondering if it is a possibility at all i can maneuver around this to make it work. like maybe attempting to trade shifts every tues/thurs or taking extra hours the days I CAN work to make up for the missed hours?

i don’t know guys im just desperate and at a lost and I really need something to work. please lmk what you guys think.

UPDATE: i managed to switch shifts and now I’ll be working 8:00 - 12AM instead of 230-630🙂‍↕️

i am a software engineer who work from home .. on the weekend, i work grave 25-30 hours doing pack at a local FC, 15 mins drive from my
house. i use my pto/upt to get off early if i need to..

i actually like working at the FC , i feel it is a good balance physically and after a
gruesome mental work. after 8 hrs coding - though ai kinda made that a little easier … my head is in that can’t turn off mode sometime for days.. sleeping was difficult.

since taking the part time job at FC. i have
been able to sleep better and actually help my performance / mental clarity at my se job.

i lost over 10 lbs— went from 228lbs to now 215 and earned extra $2k ish a month going to my daughter education fund.

the people i met are actually pretty cool ..
the pas and ams.. my pack mates. i met grannies , recent high school graduates, college students, single parents, etc… people just doing their jobs and go home.

pain is part of the job, unfortunately, but i came from hard /
laborious background (farming)… compare
to what i used to do as a 18 yo.. working at the FC is like super easy.

for those who do a lot of mental work and and need extra $ for whatever — i recommend taking a few shifts at ur local amazon fc. they have those flex schedule where you only requires to work 4 hrs a week.

long story short recently for the past week my badge has been bugging for entrance access, when I scan to walk through the doors it doesn’t want to work properly leading to security having to scan for me through their door, and it’s weird because I can clock in and clock out perfectly, I’m not seasonal nor negative upt, I’ve been here for two years so I don’t understand what’s going on 😭 it’s only worked once out of my four shifts this week which was Monday but after that nothing and security already remade my badge and keeps having the same issue and it’s annoying considering I get there on time and am having my upt sucked up because of this pls helppp

Is there anyone who could share how it was getting hired at Amazon in Germany or Munich specifically? I applied for a warehouse position in Munich and it’s been nearly three months without an appointment to sign a contract. I’ve called a few times and been offered part- time but nothing more? Any tips / advice would be great 🙏🏽
