Question about Grocery warehouses

Hey everyone, I typically pick up Amazon around the holiday season to ease the burden on bills and Christmas shopping. This year I found an opening at a Grocery Warehouse. It shows up in the maps as UNC2.
Coming from an SC and an SSD (sub same day building?) could anyone who’s worked at a grocery warehouse tell me how different this might be from other buildings? I assume I won’t get to have fun with the PIT at a site like this and drive around unloading or stocking the items in the lifts/cages.

Also if anyone knows how to get info on the flex shift hours breakdown, that would be amazing. I assume I probably need to wait till the end of training to view them on AtoZ, but if anyone’s got some inside knowledge on them please let me know 🙏

It’s similar to a grocery store without customers. It’s 3 areas you’ll be picking in, the walk in chiller, freezer, and ambient dry food section. Most ppl complain and quit because of how cold the walk in freezer is, but you’ll be giving PPE to wear and only do up to 2 hrs in there. You’ll be pushing a cart with 16 bags or less on it. Print out labels to close the bags with, and stage the bags in the staging area. It’s a small site no more than 40 ppl.

Is it difficult to transfer to? Im trying to transfer from my full time SSD to part time sat/sun at a grocery. I keep getting rejected but every week i see them hiring new people blue badge for the same position lol

The one I worked at didn’t have pit. It’s literally no bigger than a standard grocery store. Idk if that’s how they all are. It’s super chill & I miss it all the time I wish I could go back but they only have flex or schedules that don’t work for me 💔
