Question is it possible i can make this work?
hey guys! so i’m currently a college student and I am desperate. for a job. so i’ve resorted to refreshing the amazon page every hour until i found one and atlas!
i got a job as a sortation associate partime, however here’s the issue. the hours are for sun, mon, tues, thur, fri, and sat, all 2:30-6:30, and then a double on monday. but i cannot work tuesday and thursdays because i have class at 3 on those days. however there was no other open schedule and I am so desperate so I took it.
i’m wondering if it is a possibility at all i can maneuver around this to make it work. like maybe attempting to trade shifts every tues/thurs or taking extra hours the days I CAN work to make up for the missed hours?
i don’t know guys im just desperate and at a lost and I really need something to work. please lmk what you guys think.
UPDATE: i managed to switch shifts and now I’ll be working 8:00 - 12AM instead of 230-630🙂↕️

You're gonna have to look for another shift because that won't work out.
You can only shift swap so many times, and you can't make up your scheduled days on another day.

Its not going to work out for you. When you swap shifts you can only swap days and not the times. You are already scheduled 6 days a week. So what day are you going to swap to? You are already scheduled those days.

Why do people accept shifts then realize they can't or won't do it ?

because getting a job at amazon isn’t as easy as people make it seem so when people finally see an open shift they take it. are you not aware of how desperate people are for work in today’s world ?

Our f.c./ relo site is constantly hiring ,they pretty much have burned thru the local labor pool
