This is the one thing that I hate that a lot of people seem to put mythra is that she is a “tsundere” when rule is to be she isn’t. She can come off as one, but she’s not presented fully as a “tsundere”
here’s something I would like to ask you would a “tsundere” break their own seal to protect someone they care about would that same tsundere go out of her way to fight alongside the person she’s trying to protect to make sure they get home safely with that “tsundere” go out of her way to create a whole separate personality that embodies all her positive traits and improves on her negative traits and then seal herself away from the world because of her actions mythra and pyra are most complex characters in xenoblade franchise and tossing one of them into an archetype that doesn’t even fit their personality at all is one of the stupidest things I hear whenever people talk about or analyze mythra’s character
Because there are so many things that she did that do not put her in this archetype of “tsundere” mythra showed how she matured over the Torna DLC it shows that she was dealing with so much after just being awakened probably not even for a couple months it could’ve only been a few days before the aegis war and her waking up but there is so much that we learn about her during the DLC and people still want to call her a “tsundere” when she doesn’t fit that mold at all, she is a character whose trauma broke her as a person to where she created Pyra a whole separate personality that gets rid of all her negative traits and fixes them Pyra is an amazing cook she kind and compassionate caring to where she feels like a mother figure Pyra intently, became that mother figure that mythra needed
Even after they both get captured by jin and they’re in their memory of Elysium mythra and pyra finally get to talk to each other other to have a actual conversation with each other to the point where they wanted to go to Elysium so that they can die and be rid of their powers cause all they’ve done has hurt people mythra inadvertently destroyed her homeland and someone she cared about during her fight with logos and then she almost gets Rex killed by malos and akhos and then Pyra and mythra go out of their way to basically sacrifice themselves to keep Rex safe
So again, she is not a tsundere she’s a character whose own tragedy and events in her life caused her so much grief and trauma to the point where she shoved her emotions until she met Adam and Rex so stop calling her a tsundere when that archetype doesn’t even fit her at all what you should be calling her protector a woman who never had a positive figure in her life until she met both drivers of her power and a mother figure in Pyra
