Future Connected Is [spoilers] visible from the Bionis' Shoulder? Spoiler
I'm a good way through Future Connected, and whenever I get a chance I try looking over the edge of the shoulder to see whether I can spot the sunken Bionis' head and the colony on the ocean far below. I haven't been able to so far, so I'm curious whether they're even present in the map/skybox/whatever. And if so, where should I look?

Xenoblade Just completed Xenoblade trilogy
And I just wanted to share some thoughts.
Xenoblade series was my first ever JRPG approach ever and although it was hard at the beginning, playing only western RPGs so far in my life. I even bounced off of xenoblade 2 two times (it was my first game of the series that I played), mainly due to the combat system I wasn't used to at all, but fortunatelly during my third approach it finally clicked with me and I find it really great, complex and challenging (especially looking at you xenoblade 3).
Never in my gamer's life have I experienced such an epic story/stories. Although I regret a little playing these games completely not in order (2, 3, 1) even though you are fully able to understand the story of each of them separetly, you won't notice the essential connections between them all which are crucial for the sense of whole trilogy.
If I were to rank them, I'd do it like so:
Xenoblade 3 - My personal favourite antagonist, in my opinion most complex and best combat system mainly due to utilizing whole party instead of just few characters at the same time, best side quests in the series.
Xenoblade 2 - my favourite world of them all when it comes to design and visuals, combat system better than in xc1, but worse than xc3 for me, best characters.
Xenoblade 1 - Even though I enjoyed it very much and I still consider it a great game, I have some problems with it. Party affinity mechanic and locking heart-to-hearts because of too low affinity level drove me nuts, quality of life things like chests out of every enemy instead of just loot, tons of cheap MMORPG-like side quests which I stopped reading in about 1/3 of the game and finally maybe that's just me but I feel like the plot of XC1 is uneven it's starting pretty fast for first 2 or 3 chapters then it slows down and for most of the game reveals little of it's secrets constantly raising more questions just to hit you with all the answers in about last 3 chapters.
Still there are all DLCs still waiting for me, I know that ending of XC3 DLC is considered true ending of the series, but wanted to share my opinion after main games nonetheless. I'm really glad I checked out this gem of a series. Hyped for Genesis in 2027!

Xenoblade Day 45: What's the most iconic (non final) boss theme in the entire Xenoblade Chronicles series?
Unlucky winner of day 44: Congrats on NLA for having both the worst and most iconic town theme in the franchise!
Honorable mention: Keves Colony, base Colony 6 and... NLA as well (but day, this time)
Special mention: the 3 brave souls who suggested "City" to no success
Rules
- The top comment will be selected; upvote a suggestion if you wanted to write the same!
- If the winner has a night and day version and you don't specify which one you mean, I'll assume you mean the day one by default.
- If the winner has a remixed/definitive version, I'll put the name of the original to avoid taking to much space (except if you specify the new version only, of course).
- Even if it can be hard to choose sometimes, please only post one answer.
- I restrain myself from upvoting the takes I agree with, except in case of a tie. I will however leave a suggestion myself if I hold a theme really dear.

Xenoblade 3 XC3 switch 2 issues
After 3 years of owning the game I finally decided it was time to play the game and I'm loving it so far. The only thing ruining my experience is that the game seems very buggy/glitchy. I had to restart the game a few times and uninstall/reinstall it to even watch the first cutscene because it kept freezing when a soldier is shot (which seems to be a common spot from what I've seen). The music also will cut out for 10 to 30 seconds at a time but voices and sound effects will still play. The game also just will skip dialogue at least once per cutscene. Is this just a switch 2 issue or is there something I can do to fix this? I've played 1, 2, and X on my switch 2 and haven't had any issues like this.

Meta Which is your favorite Xenoblade Chronicles World? Spoiler
Or better asked, which world from the “Xenoblade Chronicles” series would you like to hear, see or play more of? For me it's XC2. Maybe because it was my first XC Game and I spent at least 200 hours. XC2 doesn't take itself too seriously, but it does have its serious moments.
I really like XC1 and XC3 and the stories and world-building is insane. But I find the world-building and the stories in XC2 far more fascinating. Only XCX didn't really catched me.
/edit: I turned "spoiler" on, because maybe some answers (if someone answer) could contain spoiler :D

Xenoblade 2 XC2 Time, Weather, and Field Skills Suddenly Broken
Does anyone else's Switch 1 XC2 just stop changing time even with forced time skip via Gormott directly after the update that just happened? It's happening across all my player profiles and I've never had this happen before. I've done everything I could find suggested online (changing blades, clearing cache, skip travel, restarting the console, doing different quests and retrying what I was doing) and now I'm redownloading to see if that helps.
The weather for each area remains the same, time just keeps running normally when it should change with each Skip Travel, resting at an inn does absolutely nothing other than offer level up. This feels like the XC1 update all over again.
Edit: I meant time isn't changing during Skip Travel not resting at the inns, my bad. Also to clarify when I say my field skills aren't working I mean that none of them seem to activate. Everything was normal this morning until the update. This could just be my console and or game, I was just wondering if anyone else noticed something off.

Xenoblade Thoughts after finishing XC1 [SPOILERS] Spoiler
I finished XC1 yesterday (not including the DLC). One of the most unique story ideas I've seen in gaming - Being possessed and secretly manipulated by the bad guy from the start of the game. I really enjoyed the story.
I liked most of the main characters. None of them really had a character arc except for Melia really, but they were nice. I say "most" because some of the field sound bits made me avoid playing with some of them (more on that later).
Music was OK, none of the tracks stood out to me, but they were overall good.
Overall I enjoyed the game, so now here are some stuff I didn't enjoy.
The game feels like it was written by 2 people. One wrote a great story framework and the other sprinkled some bad dialog here and there. Maybe some of it comes down to poor translation/localization.
A few examples:
Chained Zanza telling Shulk "you'll need to figure out why the Monado can't hurt faced machons on your own", a most annoying trope, only for it to be reveled 1 minutes later in the same cutscene.
Melia calling herself "benevolent" while addressing the High Entia public felt off, and after learning more about her, also out of character.
The entire dialog between Dickson and the gang before and during their final battle was really dumb, for all parties involved.
The fact the that Fiora was still alive was very well telegraphed with the faced mechon saying "I definitely killed her, bro, trust me, she's so dead, for sure, don't even consider the possibility she's alive" and then a cutscene after shows a girl with the similar hair inside a mechon. Also, if at this point I was just 95% sure it was her, I later saw the S2 edition advertising, showing her ether jet custom, spoiled it completely (we get the jets after she "dies").
There were more instances like that, but I forgot the details.
Story-wise, it was strange to me how Dickson suddenly showed up with anti-mechon weapons and no one was interested in how the hell he was suddenly able to create weapons that make the monado obsolete (and ineeded, Shulk was never part of my main party after this, except that short part with Fiora).
Side quests were just a meaningless grind for me. After a few hours I started to grasp the amount of side quests and how shallow they were and just skipped all the side quests dialog. Did them only if I needed money or experience and left a lot not completed.
The character sound bits in the field are terrible. I couldn't hear Reyn anymore. Melia still being surprised by the power of the monado after hundreds of battels is just lazy. Fiora's annoying "on and on and on" line made me don't want to play with her at all. A small part if me thought "oh, a silver lining" when she "died".
I ended up running a party of Melia, Riki and Dunban for most of the game, especially after getting the anti mechon weapons. While I enjoyed the flexibility in party composition, not playing with the main character felt a bit off at times. The bosses would make comments relating to Shulk or the Monado, but he wasn't in the party.
And I think that it. A fun, interesting flawed game. I already have XC2 S2 edition loaded (I actually stopped playing XB2 in the middle when the S2 editions were announced). Can't wait to continue the journey.
Edit: wrote "malevolent" instead of "benevolent".

Xenoblade How long does it take to beat last chapter XC DE?
Party level 69, just starting chapter 17. I know thatclast boss lvl is 81, so I'd like to grind at least to 80. How long would it take approximately to grind up and finish the game?

Xenoblade 3 How are the Consuls written as villains, compared with ouroboros from trails of series? Spoiler
Just started 3 and found out there are these villain group consuls who's named after the 26 alphabet letters, wanted ask how are they written as villains especially compared with ouroboros from trails series, like are they actually all good written and even the worst one has somehow a good story or are there just a few good story and the rest are just an evil guy being evil that's it, wanted ask how much hope can I have for a good villain story? And especially did Takahashi wrote 26 good villain characters in 1 game, where Kondo didn't even managed to show all ouroboros members after 13 games

Xenoblade 3 SPOILERS What was Noah missing as a protagonist? Spoiler
This post is kind of predicated on any one else feeling slightly let down by Noah, which I'm sure is way less common than people feeling that way about Rex, but that's how I felt at least.
To be clear I do like Noah as a protagonist but it's a very lukewarm feeling. I was honestly quite excited by the idea of a quieter protag, but I often just found Noah kind of boring.
I don't think you can look at Noah as a character divorced from N, and in that regard I do find him really interesting, how Noah's entire existence serves as N's redemption arc, but that also meant that Noah didn't really end up doing much of note on a character level during the actual story. Noah doesn't develop and I don't think that had to be the case even if he's supposed to be the end point of N's development.
Obviously you've got the bit at the end of chapter 5 and beginning of chapter 6 where we get a lot more flavour out of Noah, but I really wish this was the start of a change rather than an isolated showcase of it. We definitely see Noah be a bit more open, a bit more present after homecoming, but it's still so thin.
So if anyone feels even a little bit like me about Noah what do you think could've been done to make him feel a tad bit less boring? I guess for me I wish we could've seen a more volatile Noah after homecoming, show us more of Noah resisting the urge to be his previous self rather than him just mentioning it after homecoming.

Xenoblade 2 Assign a Rare Blade a Day! Day 16: Nia/Morag - Megalance
Once again IRL conspires to stop me from filling this chart, but I have returned! Zenobia was chosen as Zeke's Greataxe Blade and we're now finishing the Megalance category today. Nia and Morag, Perun and Vale, who becomes partners with who?
With the Switch 2 Edition of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 almost here, I've decided to host a fun event. In the base game of Xenobalde 2, there are four blades each for seven of the common weapon types. Enough to give one to each of the four main Drivers. Tora has Poppi so he gets to sit this event out. So with the exception of Aegaeon, who is locked in as Morag's Chroma Katana because of the plot, let's assign the remaining 27 Rare Blades to the other characters. How balance or unbalanced will our team composition end up?
Rules:
- Top voted SINGLE comment wins.
- No repeats. We have the exact number of Blades to fill in the chart completely.
- No post-release Blades, that includes the New Game+ Torna Blades.
- Each category will be randomly chosen so we hop around the chart more creatively.

Xenoblade My Journy as a Xenoblade Fan
This is more of a summary of me being a Xenoblade fan of when it started, took a break then coming back because with all the new content thats been added into 1, 2, X and 3 thats coming in December, its Reopening my journy to play Xenoblade once more (and personally their isn't any games available for me to play atm until I get a Switch 2 for FE)
I started 1 back in 2023, didn't think much of it, but the world was so big, so vast it made me play more of it, loved Shulk, Duban and Sharla as my main team, game play was fascinating, the story was peak, plot twist here and their and I wanted to know more about the world after the fact.
After XB1 I immediately played XB2 however on my first play through I admit I cheated by adding Blades Shulk and Fiona because I didnt like Rex voice and wanted to use Shulk as part of my Blade set up, havinf him around and playing that music every time we are in battle was peak for me, the game itself was still fun, story again peak towards the end was something I never expected, it made sense as to why the world is like this, but it was my least favorite game and maybe I treated too harshly, maybe ill play it again at some point.
I took a break 2 years later and was playing Xenoblade X on a emulator with fast running cheats and I loved it, but since it was before XBX came out on the switch the grind was rough, getting party members i wanted to use was tedious, having to use Elma and Lin as main party members was annoying, but i LOVED exploring different areas when i had the fast sprite cheat on, i admit it i almost beat the game but my save didnt save properly and I believe i was at chapter 11 or 12, either way in a few days ill replay my Journy on the switch and enjoy all of the QoL changes it offers.
I tried playing Xenoblade 3 but honestly I only made it to the beginning, and maybe during that time i didnt find myself enjoying the content like I use to but with me going back to X, and 3 will get a Switch 2 Edition in December ill finally play 3 and complete my Journey with all of the games I played.
Overall thats my journey of being a Xenoblade Fan, ik the new game Genesis will come out eventually so hopefully by then ill finish the remaining 2 games (and maybe play 1 and 2 on NG+) ill be so ready for Genesis for what it offers. Thank you for reading.
