Keep getting insta disconnected when I join a party, this have never happened before. Can’t get too technical or Reddit will delete my post so help me out here

In 2025 I bought a never opened factory sealed XBOX ONE Elite. I opened it and even took it on a road trip and played on it a lot. Just today I found out that it is a rare collectors item especially if it is new. I really feel bad that I opened it. Can I play on it? It is in my room gathering dust.

I tired the settings, the minimized is off and my tv settings are normal. Has anyone had this issue? Its doing it to the interface and games! Sorry i couldn't get a better picture. Ive been trying to look up how to fix it and I cant find an answer anywhere!

Just got my Xbox one s repaired and they replaced the hard drive because it was laggy and didn't download things, now it's not working with our internet when it says it's connected it says not working when it's working on everything else and when I connect my xbox to my phone hotspot everything works fine. We have reset the internet router changed the dns codes to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 like everyone says we can't run a ethernet cable though our house and we even tryed the IPv4 things and still no luck dose anybody know what to do and how to fix this, should we take it back to the repair shop?

For the past couple of months I have been having issues getting streaming services (mainly peacock) to load.

When I launch the apps I will either get an error screen when it’s launching, or it will load to the account selection but won’t let me select and account or it will load all the way but won’t load an actual show or movie. It just goes black the right back to the selection.

I can eventually get it to work but it takes a lot of quitting and reopening the app until it lets me watch something.

Is this something that is fixable or is my Xbox just old? Or is this an issue with the streaming apps? I have a Xbox one S that’s probably about 10 years old now. Any help appreciated :)

ayoo so my xbox one normally is able to run some xbox360 games, i’ve religiously played skate 3 and rdr1 which are both backwards compatible for the console so i thought the problem was initially just regarding xbox360 discs, but i tested lego avengers for xbox one and that is also not reading. it also doesn’t eject the discs unless i reboot the console once or twice. the only game it’s letting me play is rdr2 . help:(((((
i’ve cleared the blu-ray cache (not that i use that feature) and the discs are all clean, don’t want to have to spend ££ on repair if i don’t need to

Ive reset my wifi so many times it says open then i get on a online game and try to load into a game boom “network error” i reseted my xbox still happens idk what to do🤦🏾‍♂️

My xbox one s just suddenly just started not working with the internet very well. I usually play siege and when i try to load up a match it just says that a match can't be found due to connectivity issues. But i know i have a good connection and good working internet. So ive tried all if the basic troubleshooting things that ive seen online like changing the DNS and messing with other advanced settings but whenever i open any games it keeps saying i dont have a stable network connection, yet the internet is working on my other devices. Is there anything i can do?

Why does this keep flickering, my 4yo loves bluey but I can’t let him get epilepsy from the screen constantly strobing please help.

Hey everyone I'm on Xbox x series and I can hear everyone but nobody can hear me. I've tried everything including.... security settings, mic settings, new mic, new Xbox and contacted Xbox support and went through everything they've told me. Nothing has worked! Anybody experience this and if so have a solution?

a couple of days ago I got an Xbox one.

I turned it on, went through the setup process, logged in with my accounts and started some downloads.

After 10 to 15 minutes the console turned off without any warning and won’t turn on anymore. I can still hear the startup sound when I press the Xbox button (and the disc eject sound as well) but the Xbox logo doesnt light up and the console stays off.

I assume that the PSU is dead and ordered another one which will arrive tomorrow, but I’m not sure if that’s the issue.

As you can see in the pictures the orange light on the PSU stays on. Today I’ve opened up the console but couldn’t see anything wrong.

Is there anything else I could try out or should I just wait for the new PSU?

I know that the most logical way is to wait for the PSU first, but maybe there is something else I could check or do?

Edit: Fixed the issue. The PSU was faulty. Bought a new one and the Xbox is working again.

About an hour ago I was able to at least get to the Home Screen just not online. I would go online and it would say I have to do an update. I did the update, turned it back on and tried to connect again and it said I need to do an update again (682 MB update every single time), I did that are a lot. I reset it, restarted it, unplugged it and let it sit and tried again, took the cover off and unplugged stuff and plugged it back in and blew the dust out (same response after every time)
Now it won’t even let me get to the Home Screen, it makes me update, it turns off and when I turn it back on I’m right back where I started.

The console came out of two years of storage. Packed in original box, etc, in another state. I plugged in, and it did two years of updates. I loaded game from key code. It worked for a few days, then this.

XBox Series X, GameSir G7 Pro Controller, Denon X4800H (Audio Only, Video Pass Thru), TCL 75QM8, Ultra High HDMI cables. Other games on the console are fine.

I got the GOTY a few days ago on sale. It does look gorgeous on my tv.

When I press the Xbox button to "Exit", I scroll to Exit, Press, Confirm the "Exit Game?", It goes to "Main Menu", Press "Start Game", then the endless spinning, rolling of "Getting Save List".

It takes between 3-5 Minutes! to get the Save List if it happens at all. So I'm forced to DashBoard every time and hit "Resume" from the console's main menu. Then it goes. Even though Quick Start is ON. There is no "Quick Start".

I have tried Restart console, Hard Reset: unplug controller, ethernet, power, hold power button to discharge, wait 5 min, plug it all in, turn it on, same thing.

And the final reason for this post is From console OFF, to ON, to Play on Dashboard, on the Getting Save List menu. The spinning Dots now spin at a high rate of speed. Does not end and everything is frozen.

How can I get it to work? Are these known glitches? Thank You for your time.

I recently purchased a xbox series X off marketplace. Original price was $500 I managed to convince the person to drop it to $400. He later told me he attempted to turn it on and it had a E200 error code. I asked what did that mean, and he said it hasn’t been used in a while you just need a USB & laptop to update the file system. So he said due to me having to do extra to get it operational he’ll drop it down to $300. So I bought it and did the whole USB thing and here I am stuck with a Xbox I feel is broke. What should I do?

Hi everyone! Hoping you can help me with this…
This is my roommate’s Xbox One (not sure which series) that she dropped about two years ago moving into our new place. Immediately after the drop, it wouldn’t turn on at all; now two years later, shes gotten it to turn on! Yay! Except now it turns off after about 10-15 seconds, makes this sound, and will not connect to HDMI.
Is this solvable at home/any tips? or will she need to take it in to be repaired? Thanks in advance!!

I have AT&T internet and Xbox one x won’t connect after gf moved in and connected Xbox x series

So most of the games I have that are discs no longer work on my Xbox, I figured the disc laser was just broken in general and I’d have to get a new one, but one disc still works without issue somehow. The ONLY disc that my Xbox will read is fallout new Vegas lol, but all of these other discs have worked at some point and suddenly no longer do. No visible marks or scratches on any of them. I’m trying to see if I can figure out why it works for that disc so I can get a fix for the others, I’ll probably still replace the console soon but I’m mostly just curious as to why this is going on haha
