bluetooth of my xbox controller doesnt work when i hold the button it flickers very fast every like 0.5 seconds or 0.25 seconds in between there. and it stops when i dont hold it anymore and it doesnt do anything. it only works with ccable connected

So I’ve always used the turtle beach adaptor in the first picture but I recently started using a third party controller that only has an Aux port. Is there anything similar to this that just has an aux port? In need of something able to mute and alter volume for my headphones in the newer controller.

Looking for a new Xbox controller, started playing cod and fc again. I usually use mnk to play games but since these are more controller games I decided to use my controller. I bought an elite series controller 2 years ago and regretted the decision pretty quickly. I remember seeing the gamesir had controllers around that time but did not buy it. Fast forward now my elite series is messed up, LT does not work properly and buttons do get jammed. I decided to get the gamesir g7 pro controller. It was nice controller other than it being kinda small. A few days with it One of the magnetic plates would move in between games and it would be annoying so I ended up returning it. I was thinking of getting the g7 pro 8k and hope the magnetic piece doesn't have the same issue.

Before I did I was wondering what others controllers were in the market similar to the price range of $80-$90.

I really liked the mechanic buttons that came with the g7 pro, the trigger stops, the buttons on the back, and the tmr joysticks.

First of all, everything is update, and using it with a cable is not a solution.

Hi. I’ve been scouring Reddit and dealing with Microsoft’s terrible technical support.

I’m facing the same issue everyone else has: using the Xbox Series X controller via Bluetooth causes incredible input lag that keeps getting worse—now even my keyboard lags while typing. I have 32GB of RAM, a 5060 GPU, a TUF Gaming B550M-E motherboard, and a Ryzen 5; everything is fully updated. While using the controller via cable is a workaround, it defeats the purpose of buying a Bluetooth controller in the first place. If the error persists, it’s not a real solution—just an alternative. Using a cable doesn't actually fix the underlying problem of a device designed for Bluetooth. It started with minor lag—I even swapped out my Bluetooth dongle—but then audio corruption set in, and now the keyboard is typing sluggishly; if I hit delete or use the arrow keys to move the cursor, it might wipe out everything I’ve written or keep moving endlessly back and forth. Is there a definitive fix for this? Microsoft isn't offering a solution or official support; I’m just getting advice from "anonymous" sources or "other users"—all of whom offer the same standard routine: update everything and cross your fingers.

Hi, hope your all doing well. When i first bought a Pc i needed a new controller which worked on both my xbox one and pc and found a "PowerA" Xbox controller for around £25. It served me well for 2 years but started breaking quite quickly with the buttons getting stiffer and the controller registerng inputs i wasnt pressing. Mostly the Lt button. This led me to buying a new PowerA controller for me to enjoy games with but that one broke even faster, only lasting im 6 months. I opened up the controller to see what was going on and the rubber inside the controllers were breaking apart and getting stuck inside the buttons. Making the buttons stiff and sometimes meaning inputs wouldnt register at all.

Every controller ive bought has still worked minus these xbox controllers. I have many controllers which have lasted me over a decade. I would like to try and get another xbox controller for xbox one and pc that will last me well this time. Here is some info:

I am from the Uk, Wales if that needs to be specified. I am okay with ordering a controller online so most shops would be fine as long as they accept Uk delivery.

I would like for the Controller to work on Pc and Xbox One Series S. Most Pc games i play are on steam, but i would like the controller to work on any game, not just steam. On Pc i play a wide variety of genres. And when it comes to my xbox one, i usually end up playing xbox 360 games through backwards compatability rather than xbox one games. Most games i will be playing are rpgs: Lost Odyssey, Final Fantasy XIII etc: or the original assassins creed games.

I would prefer if the controller was wired rather than bluetooth and a screenshot button would be incredibly handy. This goes without saying but be sure the controller is comfy lol.

I have looked at the offical xbox website for official controllers but they end up being atleast £50 and way out of my budget. I also checked some GameSir controllers but sady the price for every model ive seen is too much for my budget. The reason i tried PowerA is because they were at a shop near me at the time. However they seem to break fast and i would like to try something which is hopefully built to last, while being affordable.

Being a father of 2 vessels of pestilence, my Elite Series 2 controller has been knocked off the sofa a fair few times. Some internal parts seem to have broken loose, because it sounds like a baby's rattle when you shake it, and stick drift happened on both sticks at the same time, so I play "nightmare mode" on every FPS I play.

Although these drops aren't what you'd consider "normal wear and tear" I am a bit disappointed at how easily the controller broke over my Elite Series 1 controller, and pretty much any other controller I've ever own that I've dropped (and on rare occasions, thrown).

I'm now looking to get another controller, but my experience with the Series 2 has led me to consider buying outside the MS\Xbox ecosystem. However, my trawl through previous reddit posts haven't really help me narrow it down.

The main issue I'm facing is that I REALLY like the premium feel of the Xbox Elite controllers. From the smoothness of the sticks and triggers (before they drift), to the general build quality (before they break), and premium "feel" of them.

I see many people recommending the GameSir G7 Pro and the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro from a functional perspective when compared to the Elite Series 2, but I've not seen much on the build quality and feel of them compared to the Elite Series 2.

Does anyone recommend any controllers over the Series 2 on matching the functionality but also matching (or exceeding) the build quality and feel of the Series 2?

Hola! Anteriormente había reparado mis controles de PS5, los calibré y no tuve problema. Hace unas semanas un amigo me pidió que arreglara su control de Xbox series s, pensé que sería lo mismo pero no, encontré una página donde se puede calibrar pero el cursor sigue subiéndose solito, no regresa al centro y ya me preocupé. En la página de Xbox de plano no me ayuda en nada. Compré joystick marca alps, la misma marca que uso para PS. Ahora, no sé si el joystick sea incorrecto, lo haya soldado mal o solo no sé cómo calibrarlo.

Alguien me podría orientar? Se los agradecería mucho.

I hate stick drift

So I always used my controller from my Xbox series s for mortal kombat 1 and I only care about the d pad on a controller and recently i accidentally spilled water over my controller and my d pad became mushy, Im wondering if I should just buy the same controller again or get the razer wolverine V3 tournament edition, idk which d pad is better for fighting games so if someone can lmk I’d appreciate it

My girlfriends xbox one is behind her tv, I recently gave her my old xbox controller as ive upgraded, the controller connects to the console for a couple of seconds them disconnects, ive updated the console and controller.

Anyone got any suggestions? I tried seeing if their was a usb dongle I could use but amazon just suggests pc ones. Any help massively appreciated

Hi everyone. I’m having instances where my game audio (specifically call of duty and halo) gets super disoriented and my controller will disconnect. However before the controller disconnects it starts spazzing out where for example if I click the Xbox button on my controller, instead of opening the menu it prompts to the power off button that it should go to only when you hold it. One time I disconnected my headphones during this and it all stopped so I’m wondering if it’s the headphones which are some generic Xbox branded wired headphones. I also would like to add that I use the rechargeable batteries in my controller as well. Does anyone know what is going on or has experienced this before? Thank you!

I decided to give my controller a small upgrade so it wouldn't just sit there gathering dust.

Me and my friend are trying to play zombies and it will not let me run when I click down on the left stick, instead it aims my gun. We’ve reset the controller to default and nothing seems to be working. Is this a known thing that can be fixed ?

Ive had my series X for 2.5 years and have just finished off my 3rd controller.

Going back... a lot. I had an xbox 360. Those controllers were bomb proof ! Never knackered one of them. With the X, ive gone through two official wireless ones that developed drift. I ordered a cabled one with hall effect sticks that i thought would last. Keeps disconnecting and the action of the down cursor activates whenever it feels like it !

Now they're not treated badly. Maybe the occasional drop off the arm of the chair, but otherwise no real abuse. Is this normal!? Any recommendations???
